Something to read while you're downloading:
This project pretty much started with the GTASL2. In stunting for that I was able to see just how much tank stunting had to offer. I took a little bit of a different approach to stunting for it which I found interesting. I started by just scouting around GTA looking for spots, and recording them. When I had finished that I had about 30-40 ideas, so then I started actually trying to do them. Now, a few months down the track, I have completed this project, and am very satisfied with how it all turned out. I ended up with a lot of stunts for it (I had to cull quite a few because they just wouldnt fit in the video), and I also had a whole lot of fun doing the stunting (finding new locations as well as trying old bike stunt locations), and editing the video (to a groovy song). What id expect from you, and something that always makes me keep my eyes on VC...proving that people like yourself arent flogging a dead horse. I like the natural stuff most with bouncing off alot of things involved. The packer stunts felt a bit samey from one to the next but they were all very nicely executed in each case. I must ask why you kept the stunts all in LC, was it a choice based on lack of spots in VC? or something else?

Yeah, I wish I could've landed that last one too (I would've still had the dance ). That was such a tough stunt. Funilly enough that was the closet I ever got and it was one of my earliest attempts, its just one of those stunts that like to taunt you early on I guess. Still, I spent alot of time trying to get it, but in the end I decided not to hold the video back any longer and just "TOAS" it.

I don't think I ever got a record height, because your tank height record is already massive.
But I did get a new Distance record beating your's by a mere 10 feet.

@Kr3m:

I never really planned it to be 'LC only'. Its just when I first started scouting locations I had LC open, so I started there. When I had finished looking for ideas over all 3 islands, I realised that I had more than enough for the video, so there was no need to use VC.

Thanks to everyone for sharing their views on the video, I appreciate all the feedback.

All stunts were amazing as I've told you before but the one that stood out for me which you didn't show me was the grind/wallride It seriously owned! Haha and the one.....where you landed on a slope.........somewhere. I dunno they all just rocked.

Editing was shit hot, loved it, although like I've told you before you should have used a more powerful song, something to go with the tank feeling, but thats just my opinion.

Post by: kaneda on December 20, 2006, 07:37:51 PM: Only you could make a Rhino only vid and still have it be this cool. I was a bit skeptical, I must admit. I've stunted occasionally with the Rhino and found it to be a little clunky and hard to control...but I must really suck.

This vid kicked major ass. The amount of precision landings (well...precision for a Rhino at least) you nailed really shows the amount of work you must have put into it. I liked the use of packers, but as someone mentioned...there was maybe just a scooch too many of those. But I guess that's what you need to do to lift a vehicle that just doesn't wanna lift. The Kenji's bump was definitely my fav - high landing, lots of flips...just a great all round stunt.

Editing was nice and groovy...as I've come to expect from your vids. An all too rare look at someone who's not concerned about professionalism and perfection...but is someone who just loves putting it all together. Can't help but think 'Getting Tanked' might have been a better title...but what do I know?

Great work, dude...you continue to show us sides of stunting that really emphasises what it's all about...fun.

@Kaneda: Hmm, yeah, I guess I had alot of options... 'get tanked', 'getting tanked', 'tank off', 'tank you', 'tank heavens' ... Why did I stick with Get Tanked, I dont have a clue.

@blah: Interesting point, I'll keep that in mind next time.

Its probably a good thing this ended up being LC only, as LC's varied geography lead to a good number of natural tank stunts. Whereas if I did VC only I probably would've had to settle for more packer stunts, which would've been too much of a good thing.

To ^ , the introduction sequence and the little dance number ( ) at the end were programmed by me using "Mission Builder" (a program used to edit the game code for Vice City). The 'dance' animation is already a part of the game (used by the strippers in the "Pole Position" club if I recall correctly), all I had to do was apply that animation to the player.

Reason for asking is because it's really annoying to set up the packer everytime you bail, and since you're a true SCM-master it seems logical to me
