Title: Grenade Boost Base Jump!
Post by: dawnrider on November 12, 2006, 07:16:28 AM: well ive been messing around with the grenade boost method and I was on top of the Los Santos High rise (tallest building).

I was grenade boosting off it but one time I didnt realised I had a parachute. It boosted me and I flew off the building and went a good distance away and was going forward very fast when I leant forward. This would look very slick if pulled off with a few stunts in the air or opening your chute right before the ground

This isnt very special but its something I found cool! And this is my first post ever

Post by: Master_Yayo on November 12, 2006, 07:19:53 AM: hmm. I haven't seen much grenade boosting in vids lately, I think people kinda lost interest. Maybe if you did this trick off lower buildings it would be more impressive, but that does sound like I cool idea to get lots of distance from GBs

I think Grenade Boosting as a stunt type hasnt had the interest to keep it going, most of the stunts that came out were easy enough to pull off. If there was more people involved then more innovation couldve occurred, Ive been trying some GBing recently but I want to get some really good stunts rather than just new runs that arent hard

Nice idea....but i fail to see it being to spectacular mainly cos of problems with parachutes and replays

It strikes me that a cool trick would be to do it off a plane.
Good planes for surfing are Shamal, AT-400, Skimmer and Dodo...AND the Beagle. That thing is awesome.
Stand on it, get very very high. GB off it.
Perhaps you could sail down with your plane-flying buddy, or use an invincible cheat/mod and try and catch him on the ground...or something.
It sounds like a pretty hardcore vid idea. Not an entire full length vid maybe, but a minute or two showing it off could be fun.
