Title: Can anyone explain........ ( vegas )

Right , i've been messing with vegas to get to grips with it for making a stunt video .

I have no problems adding effects but i can't figure out how to have an effect only last part way througha clip .

For example i have a 5 second clip and for 2 seconds in the middle i'd like light rays followed by sepia for 1 second . I understand i can split the clip and effect just those segments but it seems a hassle when trying to fit alot together .

Any suggestions ?

P.S - i have tried messing with the keyfram settings but i'm clueless

Try splitting the clip where you want the effect (hotkey : S)

Yeah that's what i was doing but i was hoping to string a load of effects together - sort of split second things .

Oh well , i'll have to plan it out in my head some more
