I'd like to present you a new collaboration vid - Aetas. Editing was done by Daffy but since he is experiencing problems with accessing GTAS, i'm having a honour to announce the vid at forums.
I don't want to write any long speeches about the vid, the vid will say everything for me. I'll only say that it's a first vid with the stunting legend NightKnight in after a long period of time. Detailed comments are welcome.

Here are problems.
In Nero Showtime, Windows Media Player, Media Player Classic it seemed to stutter and lag. In VLC player - the image Brainkiller posted is what happened to me.
Can Daffy recommend what media player we use to view this?

Some lovely stunts in there but I ain't too keen on the editing - especially for the second part. I felt it was over-edited and Daffy just tried too hard.
The stunts were lovely though - BK, Daffy, Bloodyhook, Nitz - even Kabananachik impressed me at times!
Everyone had something I liked in this video. Nice job

Seems to me like the MQ is the HQ and HQ is the IQ(insane quality), so insane that our shitty comps cant handle it. Either that or daff just plugged in random render settings.

1) Intro
Not something really great but it was good.
2) Stunts
1:19 - awesome db, good job getting on the higher part
1:24 - imo, it wasn't that good
1:30 - cool cork2grind
1:40 - meh, i told Daffy 2 times to remove it
1:46 - great distance on that bump
1:55 - awesome bump, great height!
2:01 - Torque got pwned great
2:07 - fucking awesome idea, but first cam angles were better
2:18 - great p2b, quite tricky
2:24 - if you don't notice, i made a curb bump before the ramp
2:41 - awesome bump!
2:51 - far db, great job, and good to see NK back in business
2:57 - i was trying it for RP - good job
3:03 - pwnage BSM!!!
3:18 - fantastic bump, great
3:23 - the run-up was quite small so it was pretty hard
3:30 - another great stunt from BH, awesome!
3:41 - great distance, very cool stunt
3:49 - i was trying it quite tricky, i must say
3:57 - cool bump
4:03 - actually, i did it for the second time, but it took me a lot of time - i always missed the roof. but this bump was 126ft high
4:10 - very good bump2grind, i liked how you stayed on a boat
4:25 - Aenigma already did it but with tank, i don't think it's a lot harder, but still good job on the stunt
4:31 - awesome height for a faggio
4:47 - kr3mlin did it but you grinded to the end
4:59 - another stunt of me
5:11 - at first i thought it's a natural bump but then i noticed a BSM... still a cool stunt
5:16 - wow, you made it on Sanchez but you made it looking so easy...
5:22 - great job on that cork2grind
5:34 - old challenge finally done... once again by Daffy
5:38 - taxi time i noticed a zebra.... don't remember spawning it there
5:52 - cool p2b
5:57 - i don't like such stoppie combos but it was quite cool

Ok, after this fuckin long full review that very few people will read, I can fuck my ass off right? lol the vid was very very very very very good, no doubt on it. A lot of stunts wowed me a lot. Thanks guys and good job to you all. Oh and the editing was obviously perfect Daffy, I couldn't see anything wrong with it, the main work of an editor should be to show the stunts the better he can, changing angles, synching them with the music and stuff IMO.. and you did it well, so good job.

Definitely awesome vid. I'm really happy to be in it. Daffy have done an amazing job with the editing, is so fucking perfect. The ending with last Nitzkit's stunt... the apotheosis Maybe tomorrow I'll write a longer review but I've enjoyed a lot the watching of this vid and I want to congratulate the other members that have participated in this vid with all his brilliant stunts. And congratulations again to daffy for making one of the bests editings ever!

This was an amazing stunt video, i am finding it hard to talk about it, since i am still in awe from my first viewing of it.
I am blown away, it was a awesome video, a great collab effort, with perfect stunts and perfect editing.

All i can do is shoutout the standouts. Nitz's water-barrier thing drop-bump was ownage. also his at the airport was ownage. Nitz's bump at the docks. All of Bloody Hook's grinds were great
...werewolf, nitzbizkit, and daffy were big standouts.
Editing: Great editing. not alot of flashy shit like you like to do, daffy, which is good.
Music: Love the music. am downloading..legally...the beginning song (not vice theme)

1:28 - Excellent cork2grind. And that rail is pretty hard to grind I think, but you grinded a lot of it, nice job.
1:39 - Cool little BSM2grind.
1:46 - Awesome bump. I was trying that and it wasn't very easy.
1:54 - Great idea, great height, great fucking bump.
2:00 - Another hard bump. Good job doing it without support.
2:08 - Did it twice actually, but it's tricky. Higher rail is possible btw.
2:17 - Good to see you completed my idea. I know it's annoying so great job on that.
2:24 - Seems the little curb bump gave you some extra rotation. Very nice looking stunt.
2:41 - Another sweet high bump.

Some very nice editing by Daffy. I did like some stuff better on the beta versions of the vid, and some of those fast flashy moments, I could do without. But everything else was nearly perfect and looked really good. Thanks for all the nice comments btw.

Best video ive seen in years. 1st main song was awsome, dont like aberlin but thats a good tune. stunts, oh god were do i begin. all great, no fillers. 10/10. Nitzkit stood out the most for me though. that drop bump onto the spot light building made me turn as white as a ghost man, honestly one of the most amazing stunts ive seen, and ive been around as long as you. the last pb you did made my jaw hit the keybored. i felt it was a tad over edited on some parts but im extreamly picky when it comes to editing. all in all it was a steller video. loved it, tis a must download.

Downloading a fucking 150 MB file at 7.81 kbps, going lower, lower, AND FUCKING GONE TO GODDAMN HELL! (pretty sure after this, it would go to around 4-5 kbps, like 56k speed)
I'm pretty sure the DAMN download would time out.

Aye...aye...aye. I'll happily join the chorus of kudos for this vid. Great stunts from everyone involved, with the two BHs being the standouts (those being BloodyHook and BigHead)...but everyone had really nice, creative ideas, and executed them to perfection. The stunts were of the calibre that made me wish I hadn't quit...but were most likely of the difficulty that makes me glad I did.
Editing was nice and smooth, but I thought that too many angle changes and repetition of the same stunt ruined some of the showstoppers. I can understand how it works for editing purposes, but Nitz's stunt at the VCN building felt too cut up and fragmented...hard to appreciate the stunt. However, that was my only problem. It was a slick editing job that would have taken up a lot of time.
Music choices worked well with the vid, and the intro idea was very groovy.
This is definitely a standout collab (practically community) vid. Congrats to everyone who contributed, and I'm a little disappointed that I couldn't find the time to grab at least one stunt for it...damn work

did I say first i want to thank Daf-fy for askin me to be in this. I had been in a bit of a slump during the time of this and regret only having one stunt in.
This has to be THE most energetic and well edited vid I have ever seen come out of VC. Truely unbelievable editing job man. The stunts, what can ya say about them but fantasic. So many jaw droppers, so many stunts I never did get.......lol. Congrats to everyone involved and again thanks for lettin me part of this.

This was an awesome vid and definately a favorite for vid of the year (so far). I don't think there were any stunts I would say were weak. But you guys used about a half dozen spots i've been trying .

I formated my PC last night and i changed 2-3 things and re-rendered it, the quality of the MQ was like the HQ(or even better) so i'll upload a second edition and maybe a mp4 version too.
I used Fraps to record the footage for this vid but i have found a new recording software that lets me choose the resolution, the output format and the codec which i'll start using, and no i'm not telling what it's called.
SabotagE: The fact that you can't do it doesn't make Nitz a modder, please take it somewhere else, i don't want you ruining this topic please.

This is probably one of those vids that ppl will talk about for as long as GTAS remains active (like TOAS or Decan´s Auto Stunt Reel).. At least that's how I see it.
Fucking pwnage vid, doods. Best I've seen since... well... Best vid I've seen the release of, actually. I've only been active for like 5 months so I've missed all of ATS´ old releases *Apparition*.
This vid sets a new height for vids.. Both for stunting and for editing.
Great job to everyone involved, especially Daf for some really good stunts and pwnage editing, and Bloody for (as I recall) being relatively new and still measuring up with the big guys.

One of the greatest vids I have ever seen
Stunts were amazing, so beatiful stuff. On editing side, Daffy has done it again, but this time he truly went further on it..just mindblowing, and what it comes to the music, this soundtrack fitted so f**king well, it was the best soundtrack I have ever heard in a stunting video.
PS: Nitzkit, its against to the law to nail such powerful stunts

Nitzkit's gone well over 140 ft on that drop bump before, just not to the roof. I think it's because of the incline of that wall.

Aetas means time in latin, i called it that since the time is stopped in the intro and i couldn't think off something better

Just d/l ed and I must say WHOWIE! wonderfull vid, most stunts were kickass and the overall level was really high. I didn´t love the songs but the were okay, also I liked the editing very much,the fast cuts just sometimes it made it a bit hard to follow, but this will probably go away when I rewatch it...
The stunts I loved the most were Nitzkit´s immensly high dropbump and some of the grinds especially WEREWOLF´s cross-river jump2grind .

btw on topic: I don't get a thing about the airport drop bump (and about drop bumps in general where you cannot decide when to 'drop' but you have got to do it always at the same distance from the wall to bump) a bit hard to explain: do you need to go at a particular speed to get the bump or not? I mean, if you went too fast wouldn't you miss the bump? If so, do you need to lean forward when you are in air to get it?
Hope it is understandable.

I did some in LCS and the were really hard for me and I got nowhere near Nitz´s height, that´s why this stunt impressed me so much...

All you basically need to do is figure out what is your sweet spot to drop off. Once you have that idea, try to line your run up as straight as possible and drop off. Immediately when you are completely in the air, pull back. You do not have to lean forward after the drop. I am talking about only the airport stunt though. Different drop bumps have different strategies.

When I tried it, I got around 120 ft which was more than needed to land it. But it was a fucking bitch stunt, couldn't get the direction right so I didn't try it anymore

not bad at all, bloodyhook's & werewolf's stunts were pwnage, the rest was nice aswell, the editing got annoying at times (MUCH too many flashes + the lines on the edges were meh) first song was really good, i cant say i liked the 2nd too much, considering the line-up n everything i give it 8,5/10

It's the one mentioned in the credits "Anberlin - Feel Good Drag" but you have to download the one from the "Never Take Friendship Personal" album, not the one from the "Blueprints For The Black Market" CD.

why did you not recommend the one from megaupload? It's the MQ version (the best version, cause its not the super high quality version) and people don't have to sign up to anything to DL it. Also it is not rar or zipped.

w00t perhaps you don't have the same problem as everyone else has about MegaUpload´s EXTREMELY slow download speeds. Myself I usually get like 15kb/s from MegaUpload, that's why.

I formated my PC last night and i changed 2-3 things and re-rendered it, the quality of the MQ was like the HQ(or even better) so i'll upload a second edition and maybe a mp4 version too.
I used Fraps to record the footage for this vid but i have found a new recording software that lets me choose the resolution, the output format and the codec which i'll start using, and no i'm not telling what it's called.
SabotagE: The fact that you can't do it doesn't make Nitz a modder, please take it somewhere else, i don't want you ruining this topic please.

Intro: I loved it. Simple but sweet. I think the music transition into the main video could've been better, maybe fading the video and song and then fading in the main song and video.
Stunts:
1:18 - Daf-Fy! - Bump - Nice bump dude. Pretty high, and executed well. GJ.
1:24 - BloodyHook - Bump - Another nice bump, I think you could've got to the floor above though.
1:29 - Brainkiller - Cork 2 Grind - That spots becoming overused. Nice though, I hate that to grind on because you can't exactly lock into the grind. Madmax pwned that spot, enough said
1:39 - WEREWOLF - BSM 2 Grind - A bit mehish IMO. Wasn't something that paticurlarly made me go ":O".
1:45 - Lord Peres - Bump - Hasn't that been done before? Not sure. Anyway nice work.
1:54 - Nitzkit - Drop Bump - HUGE FUCKING DROP BUMP Yikes, nice work, that has to be the best drop bump I've ever seen
2:01 - Daf-Fy! - Bump - Nice redo of Torque's bump in CCIII. And you did it without a support vehicle GJ.
2:07 - BloodyHook - Cork 2 Grind - Nice method, that's something to be experimented with.
2:17 - Brainkiller - Nice p2b, very hard to do I'd imagine, since the roof you're bumping is quite a bit higher than the Packer. What I don't understand is, why didn't you run up on the road? I'm sure it'd have been easier.
2:24 - WEREWOLF - 180 2 grind - Looked kinda lucky to me, not planned. It was nice but nothing that made my jaw drop.
2:40 - Lord Peres - Bump - Yikes, nice bump, why didn't I think of that? Nice work man.
2:51 - NightKnight - Double Bump - Nice db, GJ.
2:56 - Daf-Fy! - Drop Bump - Awesome, pretty creative too IMO. Nice idea.
3:00 - BloodyHook - BSM - Woah, that was huge... You bastard, you bribed that roof to bump you up Nice BSM dude, definately a stand out.
3:14 - Nitzkit - Drop Bump - Dude, you never stop Awesome dropbump... VERY high, I loved it. Looked very hard to do and annoying, I imagine you hit that smaller roof a lot of times.
3:23 - WEREWOLF - p2b - That's better, I knew you were building up to something Nice p2b dude, looks just as bitchy as BK's, with that roof that's too big for a Packer
3:30 - BloodyHook - Wallride 2 Grind - The wallride was short, that doesn't matter though. The stunt just looked plain sweet, GJ on it.
3:37 - Kabanchik - Bump - It was OK, didn't me though.
3:42 - Brainkiller - Drop Bump - Nice dude, I think you might have been able to make it onto that roof you hit though. GJ.
3:49 - Daf-Fy! - Boat Bump - I'm not so keen on boat stunts, but this was OK, nice work.
3:56 - Lord Peres - Wall Bump - Nice dude, natural stunts are getting hard to come by.

Editing: The editing was awesome, although in some parts of Part Two it made me feel... disorientated... but otherwise an awesome editing job. The song choices were good IMO, the first better than the second. I liked the border and how you layed out the text with tracking. Awesome.
Overall: One of the best vids I've ever watched, 9.6/10

Actually it was more like 450-540 and it was planned - that's why i was making it with a curb bump to gain more rotation, and also i was going to the ramp at a small angle and on the ramp i was turning left - if you want, i can show you the rep(however i believe i cut it down to only one attempt)

That was actually a bsm... and the time I have spent trying to land it bumping off an infernus... let's say... I don't give a crap how I landed it aslong as I ended up on the roof ... I've spent SO long in that spot I was losing my mind.

Finally got around to watching this video. Props to all involved it is one of those videos that will stick in alot of peoples minds for awhile to come. The stunts and editing were all top notch and I dont want to add to all the praises...cos it has had its fair share
However on one point, which will mean I probably wont be going back for another viewing, is the camming in the video. I found alot of the stunts used a high camera angle on the approach and much of the flight of a stunt. This works in some cases such as the water gap near the airport but in alot of cases it was used to the air in a high roofing.
This technique I found emphasized the horizontal movement of the stunt rather than the vertical height, which I feel is more important to show in a really high roof. Although normally its good to have variety I just found this use of a high camera angle began to annoy me.
I know it is a bit harsh but thats the feeling I got and it did take away from some really good stunts. The stunts still are seen to be good to alot of people because we know the game so well and therefore are aware of the heights without needing a camera to show us, but if i didnt know this I would be less aware of how good some of the stunts are
I hope this is clear but i felt i had to say this. Awesome video...but the editing while technically superb and well put together was put off by some poor camming choices which ultimately made me step back and lose focus on the main part of the video which were the stunts
