I get this error when I try to preview something in Vegas:
An error occured while starting playback.
An invalid device was specified.
The playback device does not support the current output format.
The playback device does not exist.
Please help me if you have any ideas of what's wrong.
EDIT:
Earlier today I had problem with the Fraps codec. I couldn't even watch frapsed files in Winamp. Though I re-installed Fraps and now that problem is gone, but it still doesn't work to watch them in Vegas.

Try re-installing vegas...
-
Yeah, I have to try that.
EDIT: Tried it, but it didn't make any difference. Damn...
-
Delete all of your codecs and install the newest version of them.

FUCK YEAH!
It's working again. :D
I've posted threads about this on four forums, but no one could help me. Therefore I had to try to fix it by my self, and so I did. If anyone ever gets this problem, this is what you shoud do:
Go to "Options" and "Preferences". Then you go check the audio device, and change it. For me it was on "Microsoft Sound Mapper", but to make Vegas work I had to change it to "Windows Classic Wave Driver".
Well, thanks anyway.
