Title: how to fade out music in vegas?
Post by: Xarbox on February 10, 2006, 08:40:55 AM
ok, I know this is prolly a very noobish question but:
I cant seem to find out how I let music fade out at the end of my vid, with the video material you can just use transisitions, but how do you do it with music?

btw, I'm using Vegas 5.0

any help would be very much appreciated :P

PS, I also read some articles in the editing section, and I see alot of peaple talking about "keyframes", maybe if there is a quick explenation you could tell me what it means :P (I know I am a noob)

Just do the same as you do in transision, drag the end as much as you want.

To drag it press the top right of the clip and drag it the other way, same method but start at the other end for fade ins.
You can also right click on the fade to choose between different fades and select that fits the song.
