Red Grab & Front Grab Tutorial
« on: March 15, 2008, 08:52:04 PM »
No big fuzz, it's just that I'm organizing a grab collaboration so I thought I would make sure everyone knows how to do these.

The stunts suck, since I didn't want to waste any great ones on this puny project. I did them while I was editing, except for the last two.

Most of the grabs failed btw. If you put those into the video it won't own at all.

Failed grabs are those where Tommy gets on the bike while on the ground. The Grab must be as fast as possible to be performed in mid air.

Most difficult stunts are luck.. Anyway you're COMPLETELY correct, how the bike goes in some of these is "totally random" as I said in the tutorial

I already wrote that I did all but two of these grabs while editing the tutorial, and they suck (except for the last one which was from OWA ).

But there is definitely a difference of opinion here, my thought about grabs isn't that they HAVE to be done in air or whatever, my only demand is that they look cool, there is lots of movement, and it's creative, new and impressive. Maybe I'll manage to change your mind next time I see you on msn I'll send you a Drop Bump Red Grab that I did.

I know you're critical to these new kinda grabs, and it's not by the book and all. but truth is that they can be more creative (seen that it's two parts instead of one. like instead of enter/exit to make an animation of tommy and the bike together, you get the bike to do a sweet animation on it's own and throw yourself on at the end, also often you get a cool animation at the end too).
