I just want to avoid people saving their good stunts for crew videos and sending leftovers for the comvid. Everyone can pull off something decent, it's about how much effort you put into things. If you can't be arsed to spend more than 5 minutes on landing something then you don't deserve to be in it.

I for one am going to send some good stuff for this video and I'd hate it if the majority of the stunts were old or crap.
I fully agree with you on that. What I meant is that some of the newer members have a lower standard/skill level, thus something that's hard for them and which they put a lot of effort in may seem like a shitty stunt to others. I think we should still give those people a spot in the video. Obviously not if the stunt is old or really shitty, but I think you catch my drift. (plus that's what the rep checkers are for right ;))

In my opinion, looks like it will fail again :|
With that attitude, you aren't really helping either.

What he said. The idea that Community vids can only comprise the best of the best is what turned me off contributing to them. Everyone here contributes to this community staying afloat, they should be entitled to a spot in the community vid - regardless of their stunt (naturally there should at least be some effort made - a simple krail off a ramp may be stretching it). I don't see a major problem with old stunts either. Sure, it'd be nice if they were all new, but it can be tough to get new stuff and the temptation to earmark those for a crew vid is tough to overcome.

Beggers can't really be choosers these days. And the viewership is primarily stunters in the community, and seeing your own stunt in a community vid is always a thrill, even if it doesn't stack up against the more impressive stunts in the vid. Focus on community and not some misguided idea that it needs to be uber-spectacular, and I think the process will be quicker, easier and more enjoyable for everyone here.

Wait, I'm pretty sure there used to be a 3 next to my name, so are all my stunts rejected or what? If so, please take me off the list, I won't be able to submit anything else.

I have a crazy thought. What if we didn't use rep checkers at all? If you land a stunt your probably going to share it with at least one person anyway and they'll give you an opinion..if they are still unsure just get a second opinion.

I'm tired...this post probably needed more thought. Lol

Everything doesnt have to be brand spanking new. If its a new stunter sends me something and I know it's on HIS level plus creative..it should be slated for the video.

^ Agreed.

The apparent need for replay checkers just strikes me as overkill. As does voting for the song to be used. These are things you place in the editor's hands. If you're confident with your choice of editor, you should be equally confident about his choices.

Oh, and hey UL.

I agree with kaneda; aslong as the .rep sent isn't a super played out spot (such as the bump2roof at the stadium, airport ramp2grinds, etc) then I don't see why they shouldn't be used. It's meant to represent the community as a whole, not the people who can land the best stuff.
