[MTS] Sorcery
« on: November 17, 2012, 02:30:35 AM »
(I'm posting this because I answered the questions right when they were asked, but Blaze never made the topic, so there was no point in waiting anymore.)
Meet The Stunter - Sorcery

Tallanominal, why did you change your name, does it make any positive progress at your stunting career? (Basiµm)
I hated that name. it really did make positve progress because it made me less embarrassed by my name.

Why you left WH for DP? (ᾼṟṭ)
Because being in DP made more sense.

What is it about grinding that you love? (MikeyMouse)
I think it's cool. I remember when I first saw grinding in a stunt video I thought "they're grinding just like in skateboarding!!!". Grinding feels good, especially if it's on a hard to grind ledge.

How long does it usually take you to land a stunt? (MikeyMouse)
Well, it depends(obviously). For some of my insane stunts it takes way too fucking long.

I lost track of your previous nicknames. What other names did you use in the past again? (Rainbow)
let's see, I changed my forum name and stunting name a year and a half ago, and recently I changed my forum name to the first initial of my real name, what is there to lose track of.

Do you like cats? (Ru-chan)
I love cats.

are you a hipster? (Cooper)
That's a good question. NO.

Why do you always edit videos high? which isn't a bad thing either. (Ltab)
I don't. you probably think that because of that one video I made. I guess it's sort of my fault that I created this misconception.

What's your favorite stunt? (Simon)
One that comes to mind right away is the airgrab off of a helicopter in connected, that's so sick. I can't really think of any one in particular, but there's a few stunts in videos that have made say to myself "I want to stunt like that", so those are also my favorite stunts, the ones that influenced me.

My favourite stunt by you, as you may know, is your double grind in Ubiquity.
Can you describe how you felt after nailing that, and which stunt do you consider your best? (PtRvY)

haha funny that you're asking how that felt. I landed that like the day of the day after I joined WH so I really wanted to impress you guys. I had that spot in mind for a while, but didn't know if I could do it because it was pretty crazy.  so yea, I fucking grinded it all the way like 5 times and hit the wall and bailed at the end, so when I fucking finally landed it it felt really good. it also felt pretty good knowing it was gonna be in "the most important video of my stunting career".
My best stunt?... For a while I thought of my first mag grind as my best, but now that I've landed a few more(2 are unreleased!!) I don't know anymore. Actually my best stunt is this one unreleased stunt... it's kind of a mindfuck, I hope people like it when they see it.

What is it about that beach spot that makes it your favorite stunting place? (Jubito)
I remember seeing it in videos like The Awakening and Ars Gratia Artis and just thinking it looked cool. and then it became the spot where I tried my first airgrab to grind because the rail there was prefect because you almost never get stuck on it. (an interesting side note) I first tried grabbing off of the tree and got really close and grinded once, but I couldn't land it(I landed it a year later though(faster then light opener)), so I came up with the idea of airgrabing off of the grass hill, and I literally landed it first try(after trying the different grab to grind for hours), it was pretty insane. I literally spent a whole weekend trying to land an airgrab to grind, and I finally did it at that beach spot. the spot is magical, I was pretty amazed when I realized I could midair grab to grind there, but then I bailed it and gave up for over a year, but eventually landed it. I like the spot because it looks cool and has magical possibilities.

How much weed do you smoke in a week? (Flippa)
Not that much, often none.

Where do you get your inspiration from? (Neotec)
Other stunters(especially ones with awesome style), and I've gotten a little inspiration from skateboarding I guess.

How much does skateboarding influence your stunting? Like the spots you choose and the style of stunts. (Over The Horizon Gaydar)
Good question. Actually a lot. Because of skateboarding I was interested in grinding, so in a way it's shaped my entire stunting style.

Anything else you want to say to the community?

Yeah finally! No thanks to Blaze how hard is it to copy and paste something? It was a nice read.

Don't you have to pick someone else who gets to be interviewed by the way?
