Well i don't get enough time to stunt, i have not stunted in the last week and in the last two days, i got a lot of stuffs to fix in my family house at the beach in the last week, at the weekend i work every single day and at the night i go to the university, nobody was in a hurry during the entire competition, and now in the end you're hurry? if you want to take a real final is better you accept more two days extension or if you want to win right now i say congratulations, i need more two days :)

I do not wanted to be rude, like now i came from my work to my house... im eating some stuff and in 5mins i will go to the university, here is like 19:00 and i will comeback just at the 22:30, thats why i asked two days, i only can stunt at the night and only few hours

Thanks Diaz, i really got no time to land my stuff, with 2 days extension i only stunted maybe 2hours, there was like really late in the night when i landed the boat prec, im stucked at the trafic at the moment in the road, thanks mateus to take the job at the final moments, i don't have more time Artifex, today at the 14h00 will be the deadline

It doesn't trouble me. It's the fact that he thought that today was the deadline and he thinks he doesn't have more time which he has.

LS:

Named: you found a nice taxi spot here. i actually thought you would land the top, but sadly you went for the lower part which makes the stunt a bit more unappealing than it actually is. the stunt is pretty good tho, but the top would've been killer. i think you should've used that one extra day you had, just to give it a couple more tries.

Artifex: you had a cool stunt aswell. must've been extremely annoying to land that bitchy prec. the execution was nice and clean, so my vote goes to Artifex for this one.

SF:

Named: i really liked this one, great looking doublebump and a very close landing, that's what i want to see, makes the stunt look good. i have a vague feeling that i have already seen this one somewhere, but i'm not sure.

Artifex: the execution on your stunt was nice, but it's a bit old-ish, since requiem once did almost the same stunt in an ssu video.

it's a difficult decision here, but i'm gonna give this one to Named, because he had more elements in it and looked harder to reach.

LV:

Named: correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't that one already old? however, the prec must've been hard, looks tricky. but i would've liked it better if you landed it staying in the car.

Artifex: ohhhh i know a person who won't be amused at all if he sees your entry. however, those monsterdynamic-prec-stunts are insanely hard, so gj for that. i also tried that spot a couple of months back and i couldn't get anywhere near that prec. voting for Artifex right here, stunt of the match for me

final score: Named 1:2 Artifex

but don't forget you both did a great job.

Post by: PtRvY on November 22, 2014, 08:17:45 PM: Good job the both of you for making it this far. In my opinion this was quite a decent finale. Here are my thoughts on each individual stunt:

LS:
Tough call really. Had Named went for the top, he'd have my vote in an instant; this was still a great find but unsurprisingly felt a little lacking. Artifex's stunt was executed as good as it could get, and while it was a spot which in my opinion had less potential than Named's, it's clear that effort was put in to maximise the utilisation of that potential. Hence I will vote for Artifex on this one.

SF:
Artifex's stunt has an 'old' feel to it, most likely due to Requiem's landing in Aqua, which appeared to be both more difficult and from a harder angle. Also the execution felt a little sloppy (I expected a complete flip). Named's stunt was just awesome, reminded me a lot of Mistakeys' stunt in the first round where these stairs were used also - the distance was great and the execution was awesome. Vote goes to Named without a doubt.

LV:
Another relatively easy decision - Artifex did a great monster stunt that requires precision and patience, while Named's stunt was generally lacking - it could've been competitive, had you opted for not exiting the vehicle in order to stay on. In addition, it is slightly unclear whether the stunt Named landed can count as being in LV. But either way, it is clear - Artifex gets my vote.

All in all, my vote for the winner of the 2014 SASL goes to Artifex. I think the LS stunt should be the definite tiebreaker here, so it's all up to the other judges' perception there. Good luck the both of you and congrats for both making it this far and giving us a finale which I'm sure few were expecting from this league.

Post by: Named on November 24, 2014, 08:30:04 AM: Im happy to be in the finals, actually i dont really care if i loose because all this competition time i have been trying to make my best, with a lot of recent problems in my life, university and work is a paradise to be in the finals, btw lv and sf stunts are old arti, sf stunt is completly diferent of requiem stunt... Is another bump, but i remember to see this spot landed, i loved your freeway stunt, too bad that i got not time to land my both stunts in one better execution

Named: Just a ramp to prec stunt. Runup wasn't long and if you hadn't got out of the boat it wouldn't have stopped.
Artifex: Looks like a time taking stunt which requires luck but you went for a perfect landing.

SF:

Named: Awesome stunt, huge distance and nice landing.
Artifex: Great stunt but you were close to the higher part so it's a shame to see the lower part landed with a not so good execution.

This one goes to Named

LS:
Named: It's a pretty good stunt but only the top would've counted for me. It looks a little dull now.
Artifex: Stylish stunt, good use of vehicle.

Vote goes to Artifex

Didn't expect you two to be in the finals, done an amazing job throughout the league. Both worked hard to make their stunts and found the time to submit a stunt every round.
