The latest GTAStunting VC Community Stunt Video is now here. A heap of stunts were submitted, by a heap of talented stunters, and its been my job to bring them all together into this video.
Its been a crazy four months doing just that (as you would probably be aware, prior to this, the largest stunt video I had edited contained two people), but its been a fun four months too. From collating a bunch of crazy ideas into an intro, to watching all the stunts for the first time, all the way to editing the stunts to a rocking soundtrack.
I'd like to thank everyone who provided assistance, resources, support and words of encouragement to me throughout the project. Thanks as well to all the guys who contributed stunts to the video.

- I am willing to admit my lack of knowledge when it comes to rendering - hopefully the above options will be suffice, but I've kept all source files so I can do more renders if absolutely necessary.
- Also, I noticed some occasional lag when watching the mp4 on my comp, which lead to some un-synch-ing at certain points, I am hoping that's just because my comp isn't good enough - if it really does exist, let me know, and I can have another go at rendering it (takes me 12 hours).
- If anyone wants to upload to more places for me, feel free, let me know the link and I can add it here to the first post.

I'm gonna try to upload the 800*600 version again, for the fourth time. To prevent any time-out errors (if indeed that was the reason why the last ones all failed), I'm gonna divide it into 3 parts and upload them seperately [once thats done ofcourse I'd appreciate it if someone could combine them and re-upload, so I could remove my divided links]. If it works, it'll be up in about 5ish hours.

Original video, Dannye's unique camera styles were good.
stunts- 10/10. Really ramped up. Nice shit
music- 10/fucking 10. You have no idea how good it is to see a stunt video without fucking screaming and fast drumshit.
editing- 9/10. I like the far away angles but I don't like the cinematic camera views.
comments- I thought some of the stunts in the credits were good enough to be put in the main video rather than just a "credit filler".

Thanks dude. You are right - certainly some of the stuff in there wouldn't normally be classed 'credit material', but it just didn't fit in with the two (relatively) short main songs, so it had to go there. To me the credits was just as important as the other two stunt-parts.
Anyways, thanks for the comments so far.
I am sure my editing style/approach wont please everyone, that's understandable, I don't mind. If I tried to force myself to do it any differently, to make it more pleasing, then I am sure it only would've made for a worse outcome. This way I was able to stick with what I could do, and focus on making it as great as I could.

tbh, I didn't like it all that much.
Music: ok, yeah I don't like the killers. That's not the problem, the problem is you used two similar songs for each part <_< I'm pretty sure you could have chosen something other than another track from them. Fracture had two different styles on it, same with amped 2.
Stunts: Most of the stunts were nice, but there was at least 4-5 stunts that was used in the GTASL4 vid, and some of the credit stunts deserved to be in the main rather then the credits (Raining's tank stunt, mythic's BSM grind, but especially Vicarious's ambulance stunt, one of the best stunts in the vid)
Editing: Cool camera work, but that's pretty much all it has going for it. I didn't want it overwhored with effects, but some would have been nice.
overall, it was great no doubt, but it's just not the same as fracture. I really don't want to compare the two, but... Maybe I was expecting too much.

Lol sad I wasn't in the main part although it's my fault only, the stunts I sent cannot even be compared with the stunts from the main part.
About the video, you did a great job Dannye. I expected a lot but this was more than those expectations. The intro was perfect and funny, I really liked the idea and very nice scripting. The editing of this video was smooth and clean, I really liked the editing and the camera angles were just perfect. I really liked those stuck moments. Everything in this video was awesome. Awesome intro, awesome stunts, awesome editing. You did a great job Dannye.
Edit: What an embarrassing stunt I had in the credits lol.

My sum up of this video is basically the same as Sweet's, except I liked it lots and lots.

I don't really know what to say to be honest, I'll try to put some thing down though..
First off, the stunts:
+ Most stunts were great spots and good execution.
- Some stunts were half-arsed in my opinion, and some were previously released, in the GTASL4 or the GTASL4 Video
Music:
+ Can't complain, fit the stunts, was a feel-good song and the editing made it work brilliantly
Editing:
+ Superb overall edit, very clean, intro too was awesome and very impressive
- Some places the editing took the focus away from the stunt and made it kind of hard to concentrate
- Some clips from the stunts should have been longer in my opinion, the transition made it seem like we were running out of time, or possibly covering up a "slip-off" or a bail
I'm happy both my stunts got in, thanks for that Dannye, and once again amazing job on this project, I don't think it could've gotten much better than what you made it. Not going to rate this. Just going to say it's a hell of a watch and goes down in the GTAS Hall of Fame and also as one of my favorite videos ever.

EDIT: This was a really different style video compared to everything else by Daffy. Altho, I like his music choice better, that didn't catch me, something more energetic would work.
The stunts were awesome and kept me to the end. But some of the camera angles, the ones with a huge distance somewhere made me to lose the understanding of the stunts. You surely done a fast job on the video, but a little 2-3 effects wouldn't be a problem. Especially if you took the editor's job. But that was a a surely different style and thanks for that.
Good video, too bad I don't feel well right now to post more about it.
7/10. The stunts saved it.

Streamed it, cause my internet is bastardly slow atm Intro was funny and sweet, loved the insync car doors and barrels, perfectly executed man. When the players started dancing on the bus, I lol'd a bit, great intro Once I heard the 1st few beats of the main, I knew the song, straight away. It's on my Ipod and I don't mind it. You really gave it a cool laid back feel IMO, BoxXx's P2B's stood out from the begining, also Mr.Magic was good. As is went on I saw a few SL 4 entry's, but I didn't mind seeing them again. At this time I was just hopeing for atleast 1 of my stunts got in. 2nd part started, it was another cool laid back sweet-arse song. More great stunts, alot of creativity shown from the community, with a few big ones thrown in. A few stand-outs, which I can't think of atm, but once my download is done, ill write a more detailed comment on my favorites. Ok so the song was dying down, this while im still hopeing I get in the main. Then BAM! I see my pizza boy combo get 2nd last stunt Man I was so happy to see myself part of this great project. A few credit stunts that stood out were, DriZzly's boat grind, Daksad's parkour car bump 2 sign, Raining's (I think) tank double grind and ofcourse Vic's ambulance stunt, great job pulling that off man, I remember you showing me it, im like 'Fuck that '. Editing was great, good use of Freeplay, allthough some camera distance issues imo, just that it's hard to focus on the stunt when you're that far away. Other than that, awesome clean and crisp style ya got. I honestly think now that Freeplay is among us, editing will be changed forever, it just gives a different look to a video, which I enjoy watching.
Overall, I really enjoyed it, great range of stunts, clean editing and awesome tunes. Once again thanks for including 1 of my stunts. I truely take my hat of to you Dannye, a really incredible amount of organisation and commitment went into this and it came out great. Be proud man, really proud

that was awesome. editing was smooth and the intro was one of the best i have ever seen, if not the best. only things i didnt like were the far camera angles, but that was probably because i streamed it, i imagine they will be much better once i download it, and also the fact that so many good stunts were used in the credits. but i understand how huge of a job it was and not everyone can get into the main part. standout stunts for me:
Hoffs 2 precisions, brullas tank stunt near the lighthouse, otms skimmer stunt was amazing, and redx's taxi stunts were great. congratulations to everyone in this vid, this has made my week.

watched..nice video obviously. But that's a video different from Fracture I think.More creative/funy stunts in it,and the GTASL4 stunts were put wrong in this video,some nice outro stunts as well. My favorites were hoff's precisions,redx's boosts,some funny stunts like mr.magic's one,some precisions like Brulla's tank one and TD's hotring one and etc.
the editing is awesome but clean,nothing special..and some freeplay camera angles were not very good.But overall that's pretty good.And the songs fit the stunts well.

the edit makes 50% of the video imo and i'm not saying it's bad, he did a great and clean job and i know it's not easy to edit a video with more than 10 people...maby the edit isn't my style or something dunno

GTAS Comunity vid's are adopting more funny intro's lately, loved it! Stunts were amazing from everyone, so many were totally insane from begging too end! Vicarious had the best percision I have ever seen ! Editing really gave the stunts the main focus which was good, a few effect's here and there would have been nice tho in my opinun. Great song's giving that layed back feeling to a GTAS Comunity vid that everyone was looking for.

This video is totally different between other comvids cause there are more stunts with sanchez and other vehicles, I like that, there are few stunts i liked one them was Knapmans bsm 2 grind, awesome, also Dannye your sanchez stunt was amwazing, Eddemans stutns too and alot of more ofcourse!

The editing was other, and was your own style, people need to know everyone edit on his own style like this was alot different than Daffys Editing which also awesome but in another style.
Also I think this is what GTAS is it I show still new spots and it show also there still alot of new spots in VC/LC
I kinda suprised about the name of lol! also a thing is you did this job in record time...

Very cool video, great job! Lots of very nice precision stunts, which I really like. I've been trying to land the spot Samurai landed, but I could only do it on the SA engine in the VC map mod, couldn't find a perfect spot for it in VC. It's hard to pick a favorite stunt, could be one from the credits even. I liked that fact especially, that there were really good stuff in the credits too, Haywire's stunt in that part was awesome for example. I find it great to see that Hoff has become such an awesome stunter too, great job!
However, I agree that it had some weak points for being a com vid. In my opinion GTASL stunts could've been left out, but it wasn't a big problem. Another thing I didn't like was the camera angle at some clips, sometimes too close (when it was from behind and was zoomed in so the whole bike wasn't showed), other times too far away. It wasn't all bad though, it's nice when a video doesn't look exactly the same like the rest. Last thing I didn't like was the landing of some stunts, looked like they just ended upside-down.
That's the negative things I can say about the video. I think you did a great job Dannye, I liked the feeling of the vid and it's amazing you finished it so quick.

Thanks for the replies guys, I am glad that you liked it. I also appreciate the constructive feedback - I do see where you are coming from with the negative points, I understand completely.
I know I am often light on effects and stuff, but usually I still have a few (a few that come out naturally in the editing process), unlike this video (where nothing did come to me naturally). There certainly were spots in the songs that almost begged for something, so I did try some, but anything I did try seemed forced, and unnatural, and I couldn't pull it off without it looking worse than having nothing there at all. I suppose I'll have to leave that stuff for the more skilled editors.
About the credits, as I already said, I consider it as another act to the stunts part of the video [Why? Because I had too - I received so many great stunts, and my two main songs weren't even that long], and as such I edited stunts to its associated song in the same way I did with the 'main'. Sure, there were some there that most people would class as 'credit stunts', but there was also some ones people would normally class as 'main stunts' there too, and I am glad they are there, because they worked well there.
About cutting away from some stunts earlier than expected - yeah that's fair enough. I suppose its just a by-product of my way of editing to the music. I can say this, (assuming I am not forgetting anything) any stunts that had bails, you saw them - none of those cuts were for 'hiding' purposes, merely synching. Its not something I really notice, but I know lots of other people do - during Tandem, Brulla would let me know of certain spots where I cut earlier than I should have. Hopefully for future videos I'll get better at noticing such problems (and thus fixing them) myself.
With the fucking up of Sweet's skin, I am really sorry about that dude, I can't believe I did it, and even more can't believe I didn't pick up on it - yours is one of the relatively few skins I can recognise off the bat.
And as for the SL stunts, I am still glad I included them. The decision I made to include them was part of that complicated line I had to try and draw between: having a solid representation of the community (including old and new), having stunts fit with people's different conventions of old/new/good stunts, and creating an enjoyable stunt video. I know other people may have drawn the line differently, but I just had to come up with my own and stick to it.
Regarding the far-away camera angles, sorry dudes, this was one I wasn't expecting. I guess its because the ability to use them is kinda new, so I wasn't sure what everyone's reaction's to them would be, so I just went with my own - I liked 'em. Again, I appreciate the feedback and will definitely try to be a bit more judicious with my use of them next time.

Wow, very fast Dannye! Everyone had great stunts, though not as great as i expected, it was about the same level as in Fracture. Intro was very nice, seemed a little bit like that coca cola advert. Main editing wasn't bad but not brilliant either. The use of freeplay was nice though.

I watched the mp4 version on Filefront. For a second I thought Dannye did a Samurai and left me out without informing me I made the credits though so I'm pleased to have taken part. I'll upload the mp4 version to GTAS Tube page.

I loved it personally. The intro was probably the best intro I have ever seen, it was dam funny. Also, that must have taken ages, so great work on that.
I think I need to congratulate GTAS for pulling off brilliant stunts for this, I was amazed at how consistently good and original the stunts were. There was stuff that amazed me from people I hadn't heard of, as well as great stuff from the regulars around here. So well done everyone! I can't really choose favourites, there were that many good stunts. Thanks for giving me last stunt on the main part that was unexpected!
Editing wise it reminded me of Tandem and was pretty much what I imagined from this video. Freeplay was used really well, I for one liked the far away angles every now and then. I didn't like the songs but I admit they went well with the video. I don't think the editing took away from the stunts which is the most important thing, and I also think that it's nice that people who like this style of editing (me included) get at least one community video in a bit of a different style .
Outro kept me watching 'til the end with more awesome stunts. Great job Dannye and also to everyone in this!

That was great, very enjoyable. I liked a lot of the stunts, to mention some I gotta say Hoff's precision, holy shit mate, tough stuff boxXx' 180ft pb was really nice, as well as RedX' taxi precision. I kinda laughed when I saw my tiny pb in there, happy to be in

I totally agree with ofthemountain.
The video was really good, I enjoyed watching it. Really well put together, good job Dannye and everyone involved. Yes, it was a bit different because of the lack of effects, but in my opinion it was the right way to edit this video, especially because it was one of the first major videos that showed what freeplay can do. The cam angles worked as effects for me. I think people just need to get used to seeing freeplay and then maybe they can appreciate the video more.
The music was nice, it gave the video a good laid back feel. The first song felt better for some reason, but there was definitely nothing wrong with the second song.
Also, I loved the intro and the outro. It's nice to see that a video does not have to be really "dark-themed." Funny is always good. Another good thing was that (as Dannye already mentioned) there were awesome stunts even in the outro, because everything wont fit into just 2 songs.
The stunts were all great! Loved the variety and the interesting ideas. I didn't mind seeing those stunt league stunts again, they kicked ass anyway. It's really hard to pick favorites though. Also, thanks for including my .rep and I loved how the angle on it looked, didn't take anything away from the stunt

You could have released it officially before making the stunts there, so it could be legit for everyone, because right now it can be considered as modding.
"Placing cols wherever I want and bump off 200ft" just doesn't make it for me, sorry.

"Will be released soon", yeah when you do the rest of the stunts with a help from those colls? It's cool that you're gonna share the colls with the rest of the community, but doing stunts before releasing them wasn't right, in my opinion.
About the video:
It was an alright video, nice job on editing it. The intro was awesome, haha. I'll probably never figure out how you did it. The stunts were cool, I saw some oldies too, but I liked the new ones. The editing was clean, wasn't annoying at all. (y) Didn't really like the music, but we all have tastes in music, so I won't even start arguing there. And finally the outro. I gotta say that the outro stunts were my favourite for some reason.
A short review, but it still counts, hehe. Good job everyone.

Vid was entertaining as hell, and didn't feel like 12 minutes at all which is usually the first thing I think about when I finish watching anything. Time flew by, so I was having fun from the first fuckin shot of bus surfing.

Decent video there. Loved the editing, im fine with no effects as im not using them too much myself either. Some standouts from the main part:
- Eddeman's Sanchez bump to precision, 02:57.
- Kert's bikebump to bump, 03:04. Loved how you bumped yourself to the higher part.
- Brulla's Rhino precision, 03:59.
- boxXx's P2B, 04:17. No collisions there "officially" though.
- Looker's ramp to ledgegrind with Infernus. Stable grind until the end. I though you used Packer to catch the rail when you spoke to me about that spot, but that's a lot better.
- boxX's P2B, 05:59, FUCKING EPIC.
- Hoff's precision at the airport, 06:08. Glad you landed it out, I was having that in mind while beating my limbo back few months.
- Daffy's P2B, 06:44. Still my favorite stunt from GTASL4.
- Souzuk's Pizzaboy stoppie to ledgegrind, 08:00. I've tried that a few times myself, and it's really hard to finish the grind.
- Turtle Dick's bump to grind, 08:07. Great find.
- RedX's taxiboost, 08:23. That's something I'd call a precision.
- Turtle Dick's Hotring bump at LC, lovely one.
- Ofthemountain's finisher... What can I say.
Great editing and good music, had this good feeling throughout the whole video. Nice camera angles by using Freeplay, still waiting for you to release it.
And for fucks sake... Vicarious Ambulance precision at the credits. I thought you were just trying to impress us by posting that in the USS section a few months ago, but that's just freaking epic. Glad you landed it dude.

Great video. There was alot of incredible stunts in the video, but I really disliked the music and the camera work could be alot better.

INTRO
VERY unique. A great job, some excellent tweaking of the game right there. Entertaining and original, just like the name. No more Austin Powers for you.
EDITING
Classic Dannye. Using syncing instead of excessive amount of effects, I like that. The soundtrack was really good, laid back and truly makes me smile while watching the video. Especially the credits song was really well picked, it was godamn perfect!!! You greatly took advantage of the Freeplay, which was good. However, there were some parts where it had an negative effect on the viewing. Some stunts were only shown from a great distance, which made my ability to understand and enjoy a stunt quite a challange (Kert's creative combo at the docks is a great example).
The Stunts
Now there were a lot of killer stunts in this video, here's my detailed view:
01:48 - Mr.Magic: A small, but greatly entertaining for my taste.
01:54 - Sheikah16: I know it's always good to push the limits of a stunt, but this is one of those stunts which are simply just worn out. No matter in what kind of a vehicle it's done with.
02:01 - $eba: Not really my cup of tea, but nice job nevertheless. I would imagine that being possible without RAD's though?
02:08 - Sabotage: Woah, that was a suprise move! A good stunt man.
02:13 - Eddeman: A great sanchez stunt, really impressive height! (Although to correct Mythic for example, it isn't a precision, the whole level is solid)
02:21 - Ampehtamine: Nice precision, although I can tell you where you could shove that RAD's...
02:30 - Domovla: A good stunt from the SL.
02:36 - Donfikeegd: Nice.
02:44 - Dannye: Totally didn't see that coming. A really good combo man, the barracks in the end was lovely.
02:52 - Eddeman: A really impressive stunt for a sanchez.
02:58 - Jessrocked: Correct me if I'm wrong but... Didn't Valikai do a very similar stunt in the last comm. vid?
03:02 - Kert: This was a standout for me! Man I would of loved to see this one more up close (slaps Dannye). Looks like a really creative stunt, rock on!
03:08 - Cola: Nice.
03:13 - Luky: Err...this is like the 10th deja vu concerning that spot.
03:19 - Mr.Magic: Lovely grind. Hasn't this been done though? And I just don't mean from inside the building post-destruction.
03:25 - Suspect: AWESOME! Holy hell that was both massive and precise!
03:32 - OCZ: Nice.
03:38 - Dannye: I swear I have seen this beaty somewhere else before!
03:44 - Donfikeegd: Nice. I imagine that a dropbump from the small booth would have been possible though.
03:49 - Kenny: I just loved this stunt when Juan originally landed it in that TMS video, such a beaty. I was kinda expecting to see a bonk to the top the next time I saw this though... But there's nothing wrong with re-landing a stunt.
03:55 - Brulla: Apologies for the filler. Certain video required my full recources.
04:04 - Neo: A great stunt man! It was one of the stunts which put a smile on my face.
04:09 - Fighter: Don't you have no respect for Barney? His freeway version of this was magnificent, in my opinion the best stunt of last year, then you go and land it in an easier way and put it in the comm. vid?! Shame on you.
04:15 - BoxXx: Up we go..
04:20 - Kenny: A lovely grind. Liked the rotation!
04:26 - Looker: A great car stunt man! Keep it up.

OVERALL THOUGHTS
I thought it was an amazing video, I feel privleged to have been a part of it. I liked the fact that all the stunts were creative/techinical/smooth stunts, only a few like OMG height ones, it felt very casual. The most laid back Comvid yet. Editing was great, the 1024 MKV worked perfectly, plenty of quality for me
I dont know what else to say really except thank you to Dannye for all the hard work and time he put into this. and also props for getting it done so quick, simply crazy how fast the progress went. Like I said intro was epic, one of the best ever. Also I would like to thank the community for sending stunts, and good ones at that, cause I think the Community deserves a lil thanks for making these types of videos possible.
I think I am going to make a subfolder in my VC/SA videos folder, and call it Favorites. This will be first to go in

Much respect for the scripting work here. I don't know how long that took you, but awesome job on it. As Mr. Magic would say "You deserve a lifetime of Oreos"
Really fresh and fun, and the title that initially was like, interesting name, now suddenly was tied in very nicely. Loving the fireworks, with the use of splattering blood as well right? lol
Only thing i wanted to see was more flying dolphins !
EDITING
Very clean and crisp. I didn't have any problems with the lack of effects, as I was focused on the stunts. I can understand that some ppl may have wanted a bit more in the fx dept. and it may have broken up the monotony of stunt after stunt with no breaks. But personally, I think you did fantastic job.

Music/Editing: They were great, the songs were both nice, altough I would have liked more 2 more "different" songs, but this was ok, the editing was clean, and gave the video a very nice feeling
Stunts: A LOT of stand outs, I'm going to point out my favorites
Eddeman's sanchez bumps, both were huge and I said "WHAT THE HELL?" out loud on them The bb landing was

Well, I'm home now, so I had time to watch it. I really regret not sending anything for this, for it was really amazing. By the time I could send in something, it seemed to be a bit too late. The editing was awesome, nothing really stuck out, but I really got a feel-good video feeling behind it though.
Stunts were just plain amazing. It had a really good mixture of more creative stunts along with big height ones. Over the past few months stunting has changed a bit for the better, and people are thinking like never before. Compare this video with Fracture. I was highly impressed, and this is my favorite community video by far. The intro was just plain genius, and was done flawlessly and in a really creative way.
This video, basically, takes the cake. Good job to everyone and a really good job to Dannye for editing this masterpiece.

This video had a happy warm bubbly feeling that screams out "Community!". That is why I really enjoyed this above and over all other community videos. It was not about the most hardcore GTA VC experience kicking around, it was about how a whole bunch of people from around the world can make a video together and have a fair bit of fun in the process (I could talk about all the little parts that I liked / disliked, but the mood and overall impression of the video is what made me the happiest so I don't want to detract from it)

Fun. Energetic. Inspiring. Communal.
Dannye did a great job roping all of the stunts together, and the contributors did an equally great job strutting their stuff. I'd name a couple of stand-outs, but I don't really wanna detract from everyone else by doing so. This vid had all the elements that made Connected such a great community vid. The intro was fantastic and set the tone for the rest of the vid. There was a tremendous amount of creativity and improv in the stunts, and it was great to see so many members throwing something in (I'm kinda bootin myself now for not gettin off my butt).
Dannye's work on this just screamed Dannye. I've always admired your clean-cut, no-nonsense approach to vid making, and you didn't disappoint with this one. Your editing is always light and entertaining, and reminds us all that at the end of the day...this IS just a game. Excellent job, dude. My one and only criticism is that some of the angles robbed the stunts slightly. Having said that, I can understand the desire to give Freeplay (a program you put a LOT of work into) a showcase.
To everyone who was a part of this in whatever way...the result was brilliant.

The stunts were fantastic. Loved boxXx's huge p2b's, the precisions, grinds, and others.
Editing was smooth, but you could have worked on the angles a bit more, coz at some stunts i couldn't see whats hes gonna land or w/e, but otherwise it was good with that new program
The music was good, not my taste but atleast this wasn't some screamo emo shit.

It's my OLD PCJ ya morons, my new one is the Clydebank-coloured one...I guess I ought to land a new bike stunt so I can show it off in next vid I'm in. Anyways:
I've not really properly commented on this vid yet, and that's mainly because I'm a lazy bastard. I cannae be arsed saying too much about it and picking at it here and there for every wee bit. However, my one gripe is that some cam angles were done poorly IMO with your cool wee fancy tool. Kert's docks stunt was done poorly I feel, for instance. Music was alright, people are trying to compare it to Fracture but the thing about Fracture was that it was MEANT to be very different in each part - one was light, one was dark. Daffy in that tried to vary between 'lighter' stunts and the other kind of stunts or whatever. He really did try to split it into two very different parts. Whereas Dannye has taken a simpler approach, which sums him up, and edited essentially 3 parts including the credits to his style and liking. Dannye did what the majority of GTAS voted him to do, he took the responsibility and edited your community video. If you don't like it, either take up the task next time or vote for someone else who you feel will do an improved job.

I forgot to comment in this video, I loved the intro, very funky IMO. I was dissapointed in some stuff that was used in the GTASL4 Video and used it here. Love the precisions, grinds, and that pushing the limits p2b by boxXx. The editing was like Connected (it was like Connected 2).

Very funny, Enjoyable and Unique. Near the end, the white and green striped towel reminded me of my bike
Only bad point in my opinion was that it may of gone for just a little too long. But still it was a great intro. Very nicely done.
EDITING
As i said before the editing was very crisp and clean. I didnt even notice that no effects were used until someone said so in this thread. Im not a kind of person who needs lots of effects to enjoy a video, so i enjoyed this video to the best of its ability.

wow, wow, WOW!!
This vid is really, really great!! The intro is fantastic, a work of art!
The stunts are awesome!! There are some very original ones without any suporting vehicles and this it's really complicated nowadays after years of stunting in VC! These stunts combined with huge packer bumps and the other stuff makes the 12 minutes vid very variated and then very enjoyable, even for somebody who don't stunt for ages
The editing is nice, without too many effects so you can see all the stunts perfectly. Also the credits part is very good because it's not boring and there are some good and funny stunts.
Great job Dannye! It makes me want to stunt again! 10/10 for sure!
P.S. Kenny well done on the stunt at 3:50. I tried this a few months ago on the playstation just for boring and I couldn't land it. Best attempt I crashed into the wall and I arrived without the bike. Though one, well done!
P.S.2. Sam I tried that sanchez precision landing too (4:34) for mut8tion but I got really pissed off after one bilion of attempts

Great and funny intro Dannye, I really liked the music and the idea of this intro. Loved how those car doors opening and closing on itself. Great choice of music too, it fit the idea of the intro so well that it feels great.
It was a total different style intro and that's good of course, different new stuff always turns out to be good most of the times. I loved the fireworks in the end and the bloody fireworks were awesome too and you really like that font don't you? Nice syncing and editing too man, awesome intro.

Overall
This was a very fresh video with a great intro, great stunts and very nice soundtrack. About the intro, like I said above, a different idea that turned out to be a success. Really loved how those doors kept closing and opening and finishing the intro with great fireworks, a few bloody ones too. All ATS members are so god damn talented, very good stunters, very good scripters, very good themed videos, very good editing and much much more. You did an amazing job with the scripting, I expected a lot from you but this was a lot more than those expectations. The stunts, you must've noticed that my ratings didn't go lower than 9/10, that means I loved every single stunt except that noob Killerstunter's stunt. A lot of different, big and amazing stunts in this video. Everyone did a great job with the stunting except Killerstunter. Dannye, the songs you chose were perfect for this video almost feels like these songs were made for this video. I personally liked the first song more than the second, it has a beautiful tune. About the editing, the editing was clean and awesome. Just the way I like it. Good and smooth editing Dannye although I have to say 1 very small thing about the editing, after 1 stunt, the next stunt started very quick, what I mean is after a stunt it was rushed to the next stunt(sorry, my mind is empty about this so I couldn't explain correctly what I think) but that was obviously to get all those stunts into these 2 songs, again great job Dannye. Outro was a simple outro also containing awesome stunts except Killerstunter's noob stunt. Superb video all. Like I said above, a great video with a great intro, great stunts, great people and awesome editing by the one and only Dannye. Even though I had the lamest stunt in the video, it's great to be a part of this amazing video. Great job all! Roughly I'll give this video a:

It has been over a week since I saw it and I've watched it atleast twice everyday since then. I thought it was genious. I think Dannye/we really managed to capture the cozy community feeling into this video. I actually feel kinda patriotic about GTAS after watching this. Nah but really, I think it's great that we might argue alot but when it comes to making a community video people can set their differences aside and let stunting unify us to come together to make an awesome stunt video like this. Sounds cheesy but that's how I feel.
Dannye, you did an outstanding job with the editing, it certainly played a big role in creating the warm, happy feeling that this video just screams out. The songs aren't something I'd normally listen to but I thought it was straight balla and they flowed perfectly together with the video aswell as alongside eachother, the transition between them was barely noticable. One thing I really loved was how you managed to make the credits feel like a third main part. I think Daffy sort of did the same thing with Fracture. It's really nice for a change, credits are usually boring.
I could about talk the teeny weeny things that I disliked but there's nothing worth mentioning. I could also mention some of my favourite stunts and what not but I think that'd detract too much from my general impression of this video as a whole. It's barely ever good to pick apart something too much. I just loved the whole atmosphere, or vibe, that this video has. Great job to everyone involved! Keep it up GTAS.

It has been over a week since I saw it and I've watched it atleast twice everyday since then. I thought it was genious. I think Dannye/we really managed to capture the cozy community feeling into this video. I actually feel kinda patriotic about GTAS after watching this. Nah but really, I think it's great that we might argue alot but when it comes to making a community video people can set their differences aside and let stunting unify us to come together to make an awesome stunt video like this. Sounds cheesy but that's how I feel.
Dannye, you did an outstanding job with the editing, it certainly played a big role in creating the warm, happy feeling that this video just screams out. The songs aren't something I'd normally listen to but I thought it was straight balla and they flowed perfectly together with the video aswell as alongside eachother, the transition between them was barely noticable. One thing I really loved was how you managed to make the credits feel like a third main part. I think Daffy sort of did the same thing with Fracture. It's really nice for a change, credits are usually boring.
I could talk the teeny weeny things that I disliked but there's nothing worth mentioning. I could also mention some of my favourite stunts and what not but I think that'd detract too much from my general impression of this video as a whole. It's barely ever good to pick apart something too much. I just loved the whole atmosphere, or vibe, that this video has. Great job to everyone involved! Keep it up GTAS.

And I agree with that Credits part, the credits might actually have been my favourite part of the video, they felt so great.

It was certainly a different experience for me to be working on such a massive project, but I liked it. Thanks for the opportunity.

One thing I forgot to mention in my last post is that the stunts in this video had a generally higher creative standard than previous community videos. That's very memorable to me. It seems as if many have started to think a little different about stunting.

I'll be glad to answer this, even though I don't know Blissy-pooh as much as some of the others.
He just kind of faded out of stunting for a bit. He's gotten in and out of it a few times, but he doesn't really stunt that often anymore.

So I guess I'm really late, but yeah, saw the video. It was overall a great piece of work. The stunts were incredible this time around. All kinds of stunts, all over the place, really good variety. I think that was the best part of the video. Good job to all of you in that department. Shit if somebody told me GTASL stunts were allowed, I would have submitted a stunt lol.
Dannye the intro was killer. I don't know how you do it man, but that was crazy. Really fun stuff. I'm not so sure about the editing though. The Killers is nice, it's a good style to have. I really enjoyed them in your solo vid (I still show it to all my friends and stuff). However, I wasn't feeling it for this video. Especially two songs in a row. Yes, it's your thing and a lot of other people like it, but it's just not the way I envision a community video to be like, nor the way I'd want others to view the community. Apart from that, it does showcase a much more fun aspect for the community, which is a good thing. I just thought there were better alternatives you know.
I don't understand why people thought the camera angles were bad. I actually loved the way you displayed all the stunts. The camera work was great, even that freeplay thing. And the way you made the credits worked really well, surprisingly. Easily another part of the main part, but in disguise. Well executed. So yeah, apart from the questionable editing, it all came out really nice. Good work everyone.

Well it's sorta true, who cares you know. Not to be mean or anything. I didn't use RADs, I'm sure nobody cares about that as long as alot of other people in the video didn't use RADs.

It seems that most creativity and spots are sucked dry now and vice city is running out.<3 i've expected some more veterans and mroe mind blowing stunts in there but it was fun to watch too.

Bumping this as a reminder of how sick community videos are.
Everything about this is awesome. Intro is the best I have ever seen, stunts are incredible and from people from all areas of the community, overall feel is spot on. For me this is an absolute classic, get re-downloading if you don't already have it people.

Never really felt concerned by this vid cause I was in the outro. Looking back at it this one was really great awesome feeling and some stunt in the outro were truly awesome i'm surprised.

Time for another viewing of this fella, it's been a while.
I had a great time doing the video guys, I am glad you all liked it!
Doing the intro was bizzare, just thinking of wacky ideas I could cram in there, and trying to get the timing just-right for it to all (almost) work with the music in a single long shot. So glad I was able to pull off those (poor :P ) fireworks at the end, that was one of the ideas I had for the longest (back when the overall concept involved bus-ing to some sort of group photo-type thing, before it was simplified) and wasn't sure I could do. And I just love when the stunters get in on the dancing action right near the end with their elbow pumping :lol:
