We used to have one of these topics on earlier SL's, so why not to have one on this one... I'll start out by handing out the maps with their locations named so you don't have to go around asking where a certain area is:
- VC map (http://grandtheftauto.blogcindario.com/ficheros/ViceCityMap14.jpg)
- LC map (http://mutant.interbgc.com/GTA3%2520Map.jpeg)
Here's a list of the vehicles with their names and pictures, press Ctrl + F to search for one with your browser.
- GTA:VC Vehicle database (http://www.guru.net.nz/games/gtavc/)
Also there have been many questions about the challenges, so here's a few facts you should know: In case the map hasn't been restricted into VC or LC, you can use the one you like. Both are accepted. In case the area is restricted into just "hospital" or "police station" for example, you can still use any hospital or police station from either of the map. Only when you're challenged to land a stunt in VC or LC you can't choose the map yourself. And I guess most of you already know this but natural stunt means that no secondary vehicles are used at any point.

What's wrong with you guys <_< Out of 12 matches we had 9 matches where one or both of the participants no-showed. Sorry but that's some seriously fucked up shit.

Seems so many have no shows. It wouldn't be such a bad idea to actually extend the deadline for those who need it. It would be worth it if we got more stunts in here. it's not as fun when people win by no shows all the time.

Come up with challenges that outline the area a lot, more outlined area = more likely to find a spot and land it. Might sound like a not so important fact but that how it is, if your only criteria is to land a stunt with a certain vehicle you'll find yourself randomly looking for a spot and in case you don't find anything you're not that motivated to try again, and when having a certain area given and a vehicle for example you can't just fly around the map and get frustrated, you'll browse a smaller area a lot more concentrated.
Also change the deadline to Sunday 12:00 PM GMT0, just to make it simple.
There has been a lot more no-shows than expected but do your best making the finals entertaining. :)

Well yeah it doesn't really matter, thought that an extension wouldn't harm as people get more time to stunt and a GMT0-timezone would help with the misunderstandings.

Ah well, ill just make a little note about the time. 12:00 PM GMT 0 is a good one. But please forget the PM/AM stuff and make the deadline for example 23:59 GMT 0. Cause I dont even know what the deadline is/was on my match against Raskal. "Due to 12 sunday".. How am I supossed to know what that is? :hmm:
Shame on all the no-shows though. Winning like this isnt even half as fun :(

Some people don't understand that it's a 24 hour system, instead of AM/PM, which is perfectly acceptable.

I figured it was common knowledge. I mean I live in the US, which uses the am/pm system, and I perfectly understand the military time system.

You're right that most of us understand both but you seriously can't expect everyone to know and then blame them for not showing up on the right time?

I charge nothing for that tip as you can see I've only been helping you guys out, though it's your call whether you follow it or not.

Just a heads up. Next weekend I'll be going to Oslo to see a concert. But if my school can provide me with a laptop before that time I think It'll work out, If a mac can run Vice City (Dunno about that). If I don't get a laptop I MIGHT not get a chance to land a stunt. But I'll try my best :jajaja:

Well the thing is Also, SUNDAY sucks as deadline, I think the most people here have a realife and a going out to party at friday and Saturday so there is not that much time left to land something good, well thats atleast the problem I had my spot was so annyoing and i didnt had that much time becouse of these reasons :euro:

It's called constructive criticism, also when you're organizing a stunting league and there are more no-shows than entries given perhaps you should start thinking what went wrong. Although that might be hard as it's easier for you to think "well people couldn't land anything". I remember when you asked me to organize and I gave you all these tips I'm giving now which you've failed to follow for the last two rounds, anyway funny how you just told me how you can handle it and you've done it before.

The reason it's on Sunday, is because during the weekdays, me and donfi are busy with college. Also, about not posting the timezone in the 2nd round like I did the 1st, it was mainly because of lazyness, and I figured you'd guys would know that it was the same as the previous week. Mythic, I don't like that you keep criticizing everything, it feels almost as if YOUR trying to run the league for us.

As a organizer and as a judge you should look exemplary to the competitors and having that kind of tendency to fight with the competitors doesn't look good as you're one of the judges and judging stunts ain't really the best thing to do for you in case you so visibly have and want personal altercations with one of the competitors. I wouldn't usually care about that much but I do now since I want all the stunts being judged fairly, not to lose your vote (in case I land something worth a vote, of course) just because of some personal fights.
You have the potential on judging these kind of things but you're missing the attitude. After all I've just been criticizing you which you should be able to stand when leading or organizing stuff and do your best so that there's nothing to criticize, not to go against the guy who is, after all, just helping you out.
