VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: ...VULTURES - SIDE B...
« on: May 25, 2021, 02:50:32 AM »
Editing was fucked up good, lots of nice touches to go along with the chill soundtrack. Everyone came through with cool stunts. ZeRo made great use of the rail with that freeway double grind. The blocky architecture of the maps sure made for some nice taxi precs, with an infy prec thrown in at the end for good measure. Major shout out to Haywire for the map conversions. If you build it, they will come stunt

I've been lazy as hell with actually trying out the new freeplay features, but I still gotta give massive thanks for giving us all the freedom imaginable to manipulate camera angles.

Looks like the DSS cheerleading squad is salty that not everyone agrees with the face melting factor of the video. If this video "pwns Barney" in your eyes, that's cool, no one is going to change your mind and that's fine. When Barney released videos, was he ever trying to "pwn Allbeast"? Or was he just landing and grinding things in ways that people never saw coming at all because it came naturally to him.

Why not just land hard stunts for the sheer enjoyment of it? Do you people really care about who's "the best"? All rhetorical questions really. This post is just rhetorical, no need to respond to it. :D

edit in response to below: You've done a fantastic job of trolling, and I will admit maybe I myself am the one taking things too seriously.

Barney actually stunted with style, something very lacking with the approach to most of the stunts in this video in my eyes. Some nice grinds with out of this world rotation, but still nowhere near the level of fckR. The only maneuver in my eyes that came close to ripping stunting a new asshole had to be the tank ring grind. That was wild.

The MAG then grab2prec downtown had to be luck, but still just wow. and the finisher was really cool! But was that truck from a mission i don't remember? I tlooks like a lot of fun aha.
1) There was lots of luck involved, but I swear it was a concerted effort from the get go to pull it off exactly the way I did.  :D
2) I totally fucked up by not explicitly mentioning that the ramp van was made by Haywire.

somebody should do a collab with the modified muleboxville, would be fucking insane. 10/10

Hopefully these are the right files. All credit goes to H Creations. Hopefully it's cool for this to be released to the public.

Was bored and decided to see how many stunts I could land over the course of a 24 hour period. Really just an excuse to land some old/derivative stunts, with a couple original ones thrown in.

Major shout out to Haywire for the .dff models.

Damnn... I hate to be negative about a video, especially one I've been waiting for so long and spent many days trying stuff for, but this..  :cheersad:

You didn't even use my hotring skin which was purely made for this collab, nor did you use any of my other stunts, especially the other hotring double bump which took me like a week. And then you put my best stunt in the fucking outro and you don't even show the full runup which is so essential to the whole stunt, you just randomly cut it after the bump and rotation..

I love your editings Sorcery, rewatched many of your videos many many times, but this was a disappointment even editing wise, it seriously feels like you just put clips after one another without any vision or effort. This collab deserved way more and even the beta mordbidxxx showed me got me hyped right from the beginning.

It seems like it would've been a better idea to wait it out for morbidxxx to come back instead of just rushing the whole thing like that (especially because he had a whole concept for the intro going on and everything)
If I was given a hotring skin, I would've used it. Alas, there wasn't one in the folder I was given, so tough luck. Regarding the infy grind, there were a lot more stunts that were done on purpose that deserved to get shown in full in the main part. There's no shame with getting the credits finisher in my eyes. As far as the clips being thrown together without any vision or effort, idk what to say. It's as if you can't hear the sometimes subtle audio cues that stood out enough for me. Just because there weren't white flashes on every beat doesn't mean there wasn't any synchronization.    The only thing that I personally wish I did better with the editing is mostly related to the camera angles. In the end I figured I was doing everyone a solid by stepping in and making the video happen instead of letting it possibly fade into obscurity. Was I self indulgent with the soundtrack and some aesthetic choices? Damn straight, but that's the only way I know how to do things.
