Anywho, this entire thing started as a joke and I'm wondering if it should just end as one.
I'm making this poll to ask the simple question, do you, as a community, want Mike and I to moderate these forums?
Vote away, and please give any extra incites/advice you feel necessary.

I voted yes, but to be honest, i'm not sure more mods are going to help the situation. But i'm not in any position of power so I don't know that for sure. If we need more mods, guys like mike and blah would be good choices due to their previous status.

I can't speak for everyone, but I can speak on my views. I can take being offended. Hell I dont even feel offended from mikes or blahs insults, as I'm sure they aren't by mine.
But for your question, I think people that are new to the internet tend to flock to the more "mature" sites, ya know? I mean like...a site with a bunch of older guys that joke around a lot, and not one full of preteens and minors, because they're usually full of a lot of spam whores and bad jokers, and arguing and fighting, and flame wars and such. I'm currently posting at a forum that is a CSS and BattleField 2 clan(they mostly stick to Dcon, as I'm sure you'd ask next maybe, Brandon61). Most of the members are ATLEAST 20 years old. It's me and about 4 other guys that are still minors. It's not a very populated forum, and everyone knows eachother real good. I think thats why it's so successful(in being kind) because the population is low.
I hear that statement a lot latly, from blah, from you, and from serveral others. I think I've explained it well. The whole internet isn't offensive and retarded. Only a bout 2/3 of it is tainted; if you look hard enough, you'll find a group of guys that just wants to talk and share stories.
That had nothing to do with the blah/mike thing, but I was answering your question.

I remember ww.ampt.tk however it is no longer you guys did technically did a much better job than these guys now. You are both very optimistic and unbiased.
I also feel this should be andy's decision on he did such a great job with ampt.

Edit: Actually..if I remember right...there weren't many..because whoever joined aMpT got a job being Administrator. Guess they couldn't really do that now.

you're wrong. barney was never a mod, NK was never a mod, and I dont really remember who else was ampt but almost all of them weren't admins apart from myself, blah and andy.
edit: actually now that I think of it, Barney was an admin. but still, the other members weren't.

We have many mods already, and if more were going to be added I don't understand why it would be Mike and Blah. If everything which is happening right now (the staff section pass is changed too, but no one has told neither me or krem) is true, I'll resign my moderating position too.

Well I gave my point of view in my rant but I think I'd better elaborate on it.
I think the forums were better when Mike and Blah were admin, I can't exactly say they caused the place to be better though because there is too many factors to think of. I do believe they are better suited to the position then some of the other mods, but I can't say for sure they will make this a better place.
I didn't vote. 'Should' Mike and Blah be mods? Thats not for me to decide. I'd like to see you as mods though, however.

ZeroX: I was here when the URL was ampt.tk, i agree the forums were better but that wasn't just because of the admins.
The members "makes" a forum, not the admins alone and now there's far more users here now than it was back then and i have to say i think Aries for instance and all of our current admins and moderators has made a great effort to make this place as good as it is right now

I voted yes. The decision to mod blah, mike and Nitzkit was all down to Aries, who decided on a whim to make the change. Nitz was only there because blah added him to the big msn convo at random
I think it's time to 'put up or shut up'. mike especially constantly goes on about wanting to be in charge of the place, and now he has a chance to show what him and blah are capable of. Besides, if they fuck up in any way I'll de-moderate them faster than I tear into a bucket of KFC
I don't agree with the 'too many moderators' remarks. We're all here to help - even blah and mike, as of last night!

Personally I do not think mike or blah set very good examples in this community.
They are very conceited and believe that everything around them is below them. I don't have to back up that blatant statement either. Just read through topics they have posted in. Someone on some page will have some stupid suck up remark to two guys who really don't give a flip and would prance on the opportunity to jump on someone's fingers, instead of help them up from the ledge.
Lots of people on here praise them, but I have not seen one ounce of good from them.
As for them being unbiased. I bet you that once they see my opinion, they will come back with some searing and highly unneccesary remark.
Good moderators? Let's see if they can act like it this time. Better yet, let's see if they have any decency in them, or even humility, and maybe quit acting like the biggest pricks on the forum. Moderators moderate, they do not instigate.
Good luck on trying to win props from me. I really hope you can. But I highly doubt you have the ability to.

Aries: This has been your decision and simply put, it has resulted in losing kr3mlin and Tackleberry as global moderators. Not a great start to this little plan of yours...
mike and blah, you now need to step up and try to fill their shoes. You need to actually show us you can do some good. Prove yourselves, or else I'll be proven right in thinking you weren't capable of handling the forums in the current state that it is in - packed with hundreds of members, making tons of posts and topics each day, compared to 'ye olden days' when it was a one-horse town and all the members knew each other pretty damn well, considering it was a community small in size.
You've helped run a tiny village before, now let's see how you cope with helping run a city

Whats this "revolution" from the "old veterans" who have allways been unhappy, allways complaining? Well heres some news for you: WAKE UP! Of course it changes, as Kingjad said it was a small town before when comparing to this place now. And assigning Blah and Mike isn't going to be a miracle fix, even if the "whole" community seems to think so.
And I voted no. And replacing tack and kr3m with Mike and Blah... I wasn't around while Mike and Blah were in charge, but still, I would've kept tack and kr3m anytime.

Less people I found made a much better community and like it has been said in the past this should've been kept exclusive haha.

Well apparently I've been unmodded before I could really even do anything.
Fine by me, I wasn't ever told why, I've been in class all day today. It seems like they were setting us up to fail, but didn't even give us the chance to do that. As for krem and tackle being bitches about the whole thing, I don't see what their deal is.
People telling us we act like pricks honestly need to chill the fuck out. And that's exactly what the community was calling for, people to chill the fuck out. Many people responded positively to Zerox's rant (even though it was highly negative and not as constructive as it should have been) which centered around the idea that the administration were being far too anal about things.
Anyway, before I was modded I told Aries it would probably piss more people off than make them happy. The vote may not show it, but it seems to have pissed off the important ones. Being right all the time is soo hard
