Title: [NU] - Vinyl
Post by: Rainbow on April 11, 2015, 02:56:16 PM
Waddup folks, we've been inactive for a while but a few of us still managed to do some good stunts. Since we want everyone in this last console video we decided to make it a best of. So expect some oldies but goldies  :P

Great video, V stunting is indeed improving. My favourites were still TD (that finisher...) and Shuffle, his precisons are so well thought and tiny, just love them. Loved the technical stuff as well, I'm starting to really like stunts with bmx and especially with wallride, those look so good. Keep it up guys! :)

Oh yeah, as Mxz says below, Slayer's wallrides were also remarkable, especially that connected with a grind!

Slayer hakuchou spinou to wallride to grind is definitely the best stunt I've never seen, damnit

In time! Probably will make a simple trainer that has jetpack, teleportation and spawning features and flesh it out when I have more time.

Cannot, freaking, wait  :a-cheer: Reloading savegames or reloading checkpoints gets annoying in the long run, and MP stunts will get better sync  :ajaja:

Great effort guys, I thoroughly enjoyed the video, the soundtrack was good for me this time to not mute[no offense but hey] and the stunting was fantastic, seeing TD on this as finisher is just a great bonus to finish the video with.

I'm not active anymore but i needed to drop by to write a comment about this one. TD's finisher is one of the best stunts i've ever seen, considering all games. Slayer is also killing this game, his stunts are just mindblowing. This video shows how you guys are still pushing the limits and i really respect that. I tried to stunt on V but it's just not my thing, however, i really appreciate you guys effort and the most important part, i'm really entertained by your videos. I'm not a fan of those huge air stunts with that weird flying method but i hope you guys can use it in a more creative way like Darkstar did with that bump to roof run-up to bump.

Keep it guys, you are the only future i see for this place.

Jeez, these are some fucked up indian physics.
Title: Re: [NU] - Vinyl

Any less fucked up than leaning your bike 90 degrees backwards until the license plate starts scraping the ground and then humping the engine to gain speed? Or hitting a bus behind a ramp, going as fast as possible to shoot 200ft up in the air to rotate like a dryer on angel-dust?
All GTA physics are fucked up, there's just some fucked-upness some people are more used to than others.

Looks way beyond realistic scale of speed/high compared to VC.

Jesus Christ, you guys are sarcastic assholes.

The video is great. But could I express my opinion without being attacked with sarcastic jokes?
I've never seen a GTAV video before and the game mechanics just feel "strange" to my taste. Compared to VC, where you could actually feel force after the bump.

How dare you say the word "feel" without playing BOTH?

I understand that in VC you could feel more the force after each bumps, but VC is 15years old, even SA didnt have that "force after the bump" feeling to be honest.

V is completely different, I understand that its difference is hard to enjoy to people who havent stunted once on it, but I think your arguments will be more valid once you stunt at least once.

EXAMPLE : When I see a video of inboard C63 AMG accelerating like a beast, I'm like, duh, it looks like shit. Once I went in one, and felt that pressure that stick my back to the seat, I definitely took back my words.

Sorry for the bad english, at least I understand myself. Just to say that, I understand your feeling about V stunting, but please, try it once.

.
You write dismissive posts with no elaboration on the motivation behind your reasoning, and you expect to be taken seriously? The answers you get is a result of how you communicate, or more so the lack of it.
If you would have written your last post to begin with no one would have a problem with it, but you get what you give.

Btw I think you also feel the force of a bump in V, you just have to adjust to start gliding as soon as you get one so you don't necessarily get to see whole animation, and the animation of the force you're thrown back with is going to be different in every other engine, it depends on whether you're used to it or not to 'identify' it, VC's animations are much sharper imo while the SA/IV/V ones are smoother.

I apologize for that. Didn't want to offend anyone with my first comments, they weren't addressed to anyone personally either.
Was just pointing out an overall "look" of the game dynamics itself. I've never seen a roof landing with such a "player to building height" scale or such a height boost.
