The opening seemed to enter a black hole. Or it can become a five-dimensional space. Anyway, it's so crossing! Strong work.!!!

If you want to know how the heck I did the intro, here's a more or less walkthrough of what I did!

Firstly just let me say sorry I never got anything submitted for this vid. Time restrictions and lack of any ideas in my brain for taxi stuff played a big part, although I'll admit that complacency also cost me the opportunity.

Having said that - this was some great stuff on display. Doing a taxi only vid is a daunting task nowadays, but this one still managed to find ways to impress and surprise. A tremendous amount of neat little precision landings coupled with the more awe-inspiring high flying stunts. Some of the multi-tier stuff was the most impressive for me - using this that and the other to get to where you want to go. And only Dannye could make a stunt out of a bunch o parked trailers - you madman.

Editing was certainly unique. It was kind of 50/50 for me. I'll always applaud someone trying something completely unique when it comes to editing, and the Doctor Strange-like distortions were great, but other choices were a tiny bit distracting. I think that's more of a personal thing though. I like the original look of the game - flawed as it may be. However, it did give the vid a hell of a lot of personality and that's better than no personality at all.

Overall it was a tremendously fun vid to watch with a hell of a lot of creativity - both stunt-wise and editing-wise. To pull off a taxi only vid is a tough enough job to garner all kinds of praise.

Awesome to see the Skyward series continue, and this was a fantastic addition - I'm stoked that I was able to take part in it again. The commitment to the style of the video in the edit is super impressive, and that intro leading into it was lovely to watch.

Such a great collection of stunts (and so many!), with good variation in there as well. It is so satisfying these days seeing all the clever lead-ins people come up with for taxi stunts, and indeed there were some sweet ones in here too. With those precision landings it was especially cool how many seemed so focused - only taking as much air as they needed to hit their spot. It was also neat having a few cases of similar landing areas being tackled via very different approaches. Highlights for me would have to be all that aforementioned precision stuff, plus Max's bridge grind, Haywire's multi-part combo to roof (being shot to leave us unsure what was gonna happen next was a great touch) and... well everything really.

The editing too provided numerous satisfying moments, from first watch through to my subsequent ones, and just a few would have to include: the intro's final flyby shot leading up to the wormhole; the end of the first stunt - the way the camera dips off below the ledge as the taxi teeters in that direction (and similar with the closing stunt, as the camera angle follows the tilt of the vehicle trying to come to rest); the run-up shots leading into Max's massive LC boost with how it turns the corner at speed (and certainly also the great moment in the middle there with the pause-and-pivot); and the cinematic angle chosen to show Skuller's landing slide across the roof's edge in his LS roof.

Solid work Haywire, and everyone involved! Cheers

@Omma!: Good memory! That I had even contributed to Amped 2 had completely slipped my mind until I was reminded of it (and thus this spot) a little while back, and indeed that's what led me play around in the area to try and find a decent VC-engine equivalent.

It's one video I will long remember. Great intro, I liked the editing, the song and the overall looking of the video, it felt like something from 2008 or even earlier  :D
Lots of great stunts, I always love taxi precs and creative stuff like grinds, combos. I had all of that in the video so nothing to complain about. Plus I'm just happy the names I usually associate with VC taxi stunting were in this production. Thanks for the experience guys!

That took me on a mad trip lmao
Some crazy camera work there and trippy good editing, soundtrack may have grinded my brains out by the end tho  :cc_detective:
Stunts were amazing, some banging precisions

Skyward was the title of the first(I think) Latvian community video, so in a way this video took me waaaaay back to 2006. I gotta find that video now, hopefully I'm not left in disappointment

INTRO: My jaw dropped. I didn't know this could be achieved in VC. It was trippy as hell and somewhat in your face at points, but in a really good way. I dont know how you did it, but you're a wizard Jason. One of the best parts of the video for me, you should be proud of the intro.

PART 1
1:30 - FCKR - Big boost to close call: The distance on that boi, nice landing.
1:45 - Dannye - Bonk to boost to crane prec: Creative idea, cool one!
1:55 - Oliver - Double boost to prec: Old by MtS I believe? I also believe you meant to send another rep and sent this one by accident, I could be wrong though.
2:07 - Rainbow - Tumble to boost to ship prec: One of my favorites.
2:20 - ZeRo - Big palm boost: Cool find, liked the boost off the palm.
2:29 - Max - Drop boost to crane prec: Always like seeing these cranes get landed, no exception here.
2:34 - Max - Gap to boost to crane: Cool double feature
2:40 - TurBo - Big flips to BB: Really nice find, one of my favorites.
2:49 - Sheeptea - Drop boost tank bonk to island: Looks like a tricky one, nice island landing.
3:02 - Haywire - Big flips and tumble to double boost: Yes yes yes. Combos are king. loved this one.
3:29 - Dannye - Clipping boost big spin: This one is tied with the finisher for best stunt of the whole video for me. second time my jaw dropped this video. Goddamn Dannye this was incredible.
3:40 - Oliver - Casino prec: Saw this one before because sadly it didn't make it into Eradicate, not because it was bad just becuase of room. Awesome prec landing.
3:57 - ZeRo - Downtown prec: Tight landing.
4:08 - Skuller - Drop boost to prec: Pretty nice.
4:20 - Max - Big boost to triangle skyscraper: Really nice double boost to a tight landing, one of my favorites.
4:36 - Sheeptea - Big boost to marina prec: Glad you finally used this one, epic.
4:47 - TurBo - Fence boost to sunshine BB: There's nothing you cant boost off of, sick one.
4:55 - Dannye - Bus boost to roofride: Creative, smooth landing.
5:02 - Ezraph - Grind hop grind: I dont know what to say here lol

PART 2
5:15 - TurBo - Long bridge grind: You showed that bridge who's boss.
5:35 - Sheeptea - Flips to ledge prec: Pretty nice, looks tricky.
5:44 - Max - Massive double boost: Huuuge. Sadly I believe its old by I thinks its either Ozibe or Syperdimon, but still glad you used it, its epic.
6:10 - Skuller - Spins to grinding prec landing: Nice little grind landing, dig it.
6:20 - Haywire - Tall double roll: I believe this is old by Hoff :( That Taxi skin is sexy
6:32 - FCKR - Drop boost to bridge prec: I believe it was you who double boosted this to the further one? If so seems like a leftover, not complaining though a really good boost.
6:44 - Sheeptea - Two wheels to tall landing: Cool boost, but I would love it ten times more if the cols on that roof weren't terrible.
6:54 - FCKR - Short wall to burnt apartment: Pretty nice.
7:01 - TurBo - Sign boost to burnt apartment: execution was perfect, well done.
7:06 - Ezraph - Packer boost to condo: Gotta be old no?
7:16 - Dannye - Corner boost to carpark: Tricky runup for that one, nice stunt.
7:28 - Oliver - Palm boost to carpark prec: I think we all know you could have landed that without the second taxi :P sick stunt none the less.
7:48 - Haywire - Tall boost to smooth landing: Buttery smooth. If only there were a prec there lol
8:00 - Sheeptea - Crane prec: Reminded me of Turtle dicks landing, nice one.
8:10 - FCKR - Big boost to bridge prec: Crazy, cant believe this hadn't been done before. One of my favorites.
8:22 - Skuller - Drop hop boost to sunshine BB: Pretty cool.
8:35 - Max - Reverse spin to rolling bridge grind: Creative Max being creative again, love it.
8:47 - Skuller - Drop boost to carpark prec: Another boost cut from Eradicate, again not because its a bad one. Cool vert prec.
8:57 - Rainbow - Tall connector prec: Perfect execution, nice one.
9:09 - TurBo - Ultra high boost to driving range prec: Can't believe I saw you land this live lol I remember your reaction. Epic stunt, totally deserves finisher. Epic cut away as well.

OUTRO
9:58 - Dannye - Tricky trailers: This was really satisfying to watch for some reason lol
10:17 - Ezraph - Caddy picking: Pretty random but cool aha
10:28 - Max - Reverse spin hop to prec: tight landing, very precise.
10:41 - Haywire - Long two wheels to tall skyscraper: Should have been in the main video imo
10:55 - Dannye - Ship grind to boost combo: The boost that never stopped lol

EDITING AND SONG CHOICE:
You're editing is getting better and better each video, and not by small margins either. This edit was fucking epic. Could tell you worked your ass off, and it shows. fucking job well done. The songs suited the skyward feel really well I thought. DnB isnt my thing but that doesnt matter for this. It worked for the video perfectly.

FINAL THOUGHTS:
Totally epic, made my night watching this. Well done everybody, but especially Haywire. This'll be a classic for sure.

It's okay, you don't even have to.

7:06 - Ezraph - Packer boost to condo: Gotta be old no?
Well, probably...

10:17 - Ezraph - Caddy picking: Pretty random but cool aha
Thanks. I spent like over a day trying to get the caddy to grind at the same time. It's a good credits stunt tho

Honestly I thought I could have sent my guest stunt from "Walk in the Park" which is the underwater boost watergap to 2nd island but oh fucking well

I still can't believe how astonished I am picturing the intro in my mind. It's kind of better than Skyward 3 intro...I dunno. It just looks fucking sick even if I didn't watch it ever since. POG
