Author Topic: GTA SA 2nd Edition: too slow (how to fix?) (Read 1788 times)

Well, I have had teh 2nd edition for a while, I once installed it, but I uninstalled it since it was WAY to slow. I want to know how to fix it, and I want to safely get teh patch to make it to regular SA, so I can use cheats. Can anyone help me?

I don't understand what you mean by "2nd edition". Is it like a modified version R* released to remove the hot-coffee stuff or is it a patch? If you mean you've got a censored version I don't know if there is a patch to downgrade it. If you've got one you might as well try it, since you can always reinstall if it screws it up. If that doesn't work there are ways of getting the first version without too much hassle, if you get what I mean.

I have gta sa 2nd edition, I can use cheats or mods.

How do I get to the setting, so I can make my game quicker?

If you go ingame press ESC so your on the menu, go to Options, then Display setup, then to Advanced. There lower the Draw distance, lower the Visual FX, lower the resolution, turn off the Frame limiter, lower Anti aliasing then go back in game and see if there's a difference.
