A lil' help with Vegas please
« on: October 02, 2005, 07:03:09 AM »
So,i got vegas 4.0e ( i mean,i bought it  :D ) ,added my vids, synced them, soundtracked them and when i click on 'Save as' it just freezes, shows the hourglass near the mouse arrow and it just stays like that...for hours. And that sucks,my 2nd vid was due like a week ago, worst part is that if i sync it i have to take it from scratch every time. I got vegas 5 and 6 aswell but they require some registration and i'm just waiting for an e-mail that never comes.

My question is this, WHY DOES IT FREEZE ? what can i do ? i really wanna finnish my vid !

If you care for an MSN chat  : Livache @ hotmail.com

Please help  :)

It should auto save anyway. Just load the project again and instead of saving, export the file as a render. That way it won't crash and it will auto save everytime you export the file.

Shouldn't be a problem if you used the fraps videos, I actualy get problems if I DO make them smaller first. I'm on an AMD thunderbird 1.2ghz, so your processor shouldn't be the problem.

Just "buy" *cough* vegas 5.

Theres too much sarcasm around here. Anyway, if you want to "buy" it, get the registration code (from "buying") but if it says that the code is already in the database, you click retry and it will say the same, except now it will say to click cancel to phone to get activation code. And now you "phone" *cough* to them and get the activation code and everything will be fine.
