SA Un-Modded Video Releases / Evolution of Infernus Stunting« on: February 21, 2023, 02:47:38 PM »Foreword I've set on a quest and have gone through the SA Videos catalogue of GTASDB (currently at 1283 videos) chronologically in search of Infernus stunts. The goal was to extract most of them and showcase the time-stretched process of mastering controls of a single vehicle and grinding spots with it by the collective GTAStunting community. Why specifically Infernus stunts? Infernus stunting has been slowly changing ever since 2005 and its peak has only been reached as late as ~2017 (in my opinion), which makes the progres over the years more evident for a viewer as opposed to, say NRG stunts. It also helped that an average video contains only a few Infernus stunts - the task of trying to encapsulate 18 years of infernus stunting didn't seem to be too unrealistic. About the video This is a compilation of many many Infernus stunts extracted straight from their original videos. I tried my best to go chronologically, show different styles of stunting and fill out the blanks where there was no data on GTASDB (i.e. stunting leagues entries). I should however stress that this video does not contain every Infernus stunt ever landed. I am also sorry if I got anything wrong (date/video/first person to claim a spot in a legit manner). All in all I'm happy with the outcome, I think it helps to paint a picture of the general level of a certain time period; to gauge how good a stunt was at its time and pays tribute to those who pushed the limits. Thanks to Aries and MaCi for running GTASDB, without which this video would not have been created; Bart, Rusch69 & UndeadX for helping out with the stunts selection and correcting me when I got something wrong. Also thanks to all the stunters in this community, past and present, for keeping this outdated niche hobby alive. Stunters Code: [Select] Ace Streaming YouTube 8
SA Stunting Challenges / The "Dam Rider" challenge« on: April 25, 2017, 10:15:52 AM »
The "Dam Rider" challenge
Inspired by VC's PCJ Playground challenge, although with slight differences. The "Dam Rider" is a race around the desert which you can enter through LVA Freight Depot races marker. Try to finish it as quickly as you can and post your results. The only rules are no ghosttown & no cheating/modding. Here's my best attempt thus far: https://youtu.be/R5sxpACnE0Q This run is far from flawless. The real checkpoints have a much bigger radius than visible, therefore you can cut some corners here and there. Watch out for the traffic, it can be a pain in the ass. If this sparks some interest, I might post other challenges as SA offers quite some on bikes/bicycles. Go try it & show off your bike moves! The setup Download this USCM savegame (credits to Numero, I think? ): https://www.sendspace.com/file/isw1vq Load the game. Position 1 sends you to the marker where you can start the race, position 2 is in the water so you can cancel the race if you feel like you're too slow. 9

SSU Video Releases / PrzemOO - Elusive« on: December 27, 2014, 06:41:51 AM »After over 7 years of stunting I've decided it's time to tie up loose ends. Primarily this was supposed to be a regular solo but after having landed around 8 stunts in a year I realized I don't have the patience to complete it. I've simply put some of the unreleased stunts together wtih my best ones landed during my 7 years journey. Sadly, I released majority of the new ones along the way, mostly because I didn't want to disappoint my SSU mates with my lack of appearece in the crew videos. About the stunts themselves I've got to say I'm proud of them, especially looking back at myself - ever since I had started I wanted to live up to the standards and I think at some point in time I've done it. Some of the stunts shown might not classify as my 'very best' though, but I chose to put them in simply because they meant a lot to me when I landed them. I think it's a decent mixture between technical and big stunts but I'll let you judge for yourself. This video is edited by Kacknase. He's the guy I've always looked up to and ever since I had the idea of creating a best of at some point, his name instantly crossed my mind. It's a bit like a dream come true, I'm glad it was meant to be. We can both agree that the process was quite bumpy (as some of you might know, the video was supposed to come out last year) but it definitely paid off in my opinion. I'm super satisfied with the result, and I'll be forever grateful to Kacknase for doing it. Thanks man! Second main part song was picked by me, I didn't want to limit Kacknase too much though so I let him pick the rest which worked out nicely. I don't really know what else to say about the music, you'll hear it in the vid. This video, as previously mentioned somewhere in this post, is my own farewell to SA stunting. I won't be stunting again as it's no longer as much fun as it used to be, I also don't have the patience nor time to invest into it. I'll be in only 2 more videos (that being the SA community video and a leftover solo with stuff I had laying around). I've got to say it's been a very exciting ride, I've had my ups and downs in terms of activitiy and the level of my stunts. Thanks to everyone who inspired me, supported me throughout the years, to everyone who I had fun with and to whoever was nice to me. Sorry if I forgot to put anyone into the credits, my memory is playing tricks on me sometimes and to sum up 7 years is really hard, believe me. I guess that's all, enjoy the video.
