Top quality grinds. All the grinds were amazing. And those long grinds were so satisfying

That was a banger! :a-cheer: My favourites are definitely the opener, the yellow wall outside to inside to outside grind combo, the improved sunshine autos grind and the ledgegrind combo on the LS highway where you did 180s. Editing was awesome as well. Will do a review of the stunts later but I still have to do that for Cenotaph also so might have to do that in order ya know  :euro:

Shit I should have live reacted to this, because I genuinely gasped couple of times and made audible wow's.

Loved the song parts where it says "one more time" and you show a different result of the same spot, very clever.
Thanks for making obviously hard and close to impossible stunts that would take years to land without VM. No spots lost from anyone I assume. Finisher was truly amazing and making a grab ending was cherry on top!

Editing was beautiful, you improved a ton. Keep "H Creation" alive in the future!

I have never felt so conflicted watching a stunt video :P.

Firstly I would say this is the way TAS videos should be made; complete transparency and no bullshit. It was genuinely interesting seeing some of these spots, knowing that nothing was being hidden. With that said, I just find it impossible to enjoy this method of stunting - it feels genuinely demotivating, I don't know if anyone shares my feelings about that. I actually got close to landing something here in the past (probably this video's easiest VC map spot don't worry LUL), feels kind of sad to see it like this :cheersad:.

I personally won't be stunting in VC/SA without Shadowplay recordings going forward, I think anyone who lands stunts in the realm of this craziness will arouse suspicion without them which is a real shame - however I guess that's the single positive thing about this, because we might actually see more transparency in the future as a result .

I did enjoy the editing so I have to give you props for that, was the whole purpose of this video a diss ? I particularly liked the use of 3D interludes, it made the presentation very involving.

These are just my thoughts, ultimately as long as save-state videos clearly say that they're TAS based, I guess we have to let them pass, despite the way many of us feel about them :jajaja:.

This Siasin guy is on another level. When asked the question of how many different ledges and rails can be added to any grind combo, his answer is simply "yes". There was one ledge grind, the one on the freeway in LS that I thought to myself "hey, I can curb bump into that ledge", but then the two ledge grinds after that shut me up . Loved the ghost ride on the last stunt, caught me off guard, but made perfect sense. Overall I'd say this was a feel good video. Nothing wrong with conspicuously pushing the limits of technical stunts through less than legit means when it's done with transparency.

insane video

LOOOOOVE the edit, the part where the guy takes out the pistol etc is sooooo good looking  ;D

the stunts are pretty sick but most of them are a bit ''too much'' but i understand what your goal was with this video  :a-cheer:

yo this is more of an allbeast disstrack than anything else

we now have solid proof that limitless is indeed super lame, love it

if anyone considers making another savestate video, you won't top this so don't even try :) not because you can't come up with "better" stunts, but because you can't come up with a better video and a better frame to set this video in

no hate against allbeast

To live life, you need problems. If you get everything you want the minute you want it, then whats the point of livin?

lol, are you serious?

from which side Haywire's video better, from laming stunts with stucking methods, from making stunts without any variations or from landing to grinds in simple way?

someone had to do this, good job. most of these are better than allbeasts ones, which makes his videos completely uninteresting and the whole method just "for fun" as it should be.

these are simply the best grinds ever, but my brain still does not accept them because of the way they were landed lol.

anyways, this video does exactly what it needs to do.

Great video! Mixed feeling about this like many other people :D But I can't deny it was a satisfying watch.
I'm not a VC stunter but I'm pretty sure some of those grinds are possible even without without TAS, in example 0:57 or 2:41, as I saw in the past people landing harder combos.
On the other hand I loved some of the harder ones which would take ages to get without TAS, 1:58 (my favorite in the video), 3:47 and the finisher. :D
Loved the clean edit, those interludes gave the video a really dynamic feeling and I geniuly laughed at the AllBeast passenger bit :D
Also is always nice to hear again a song by The Prodigy in stunting videos, bring back the old ATS stunting videos feelings :cc_detective:

...you saw someone land something harder than a stalled rear wheel grind to csm to prec?

Cmon man. With maybe only one or two exceptions, these spots are possible but not doable.

Dont get me wrong, I didn't say those are easy. As a SA stunter this combo looked doable to me; now if a stalled rear wheel grind is hard to get I don't really know :P

This was genuinely entertaining due to several reasons mentioned earlier:
- on its own it was a brilliant video and it was so satisfying to watch perfect (or beyond perfect) stunts being landed
- it was transparent as you put it there obviously that TAS is being used here
- it was such clever 'parody' of Allbeast's solo, I also have to say this one topped it for me, at least the VM thing was exploited much more IMO (not a VC expert tho, but it was just more enjoyable)
- the interludes were also great, funny and made the video even better
- same is true to the song as well, it was so fitting

Overall it was one of the best vids lately for me and I would like to see more stuff with TAS being transparent about it. Because seeing 'perfect' stunts is always good, and if you land something that's so hard it's practically impossible, then nobody loses valuable spots so at the end of the day we can just enjoy stunting on a whole new level.
I remember checking Allbeasts video where he introduced this thing and based on that I'm not sure that DOING stunts with VM is particularly enjoyable, I mean cutting stunts into several pieces. But the result is indeed oddly satisfying so as a viewer I want more  :D

I had too many tics in the outro with my final thoughts so I cut it, but this video was definitely an appropriate usage of savestates for most of the stunts here. A lot of over-the-top ideas that are unfeasible for dedication of thousands of hours. This video should set the bar - not the maximum, but the minimum, of TAS purposes imo. Keep possible stuff un-TASed :)

Still mixed feelings on the concept altogether but hey, it's just not for me, though cool to see when used appropriately

Justified Prodigy utilization :euro:

E: I agree with Vanilla on all fronts. I'm glad to have transparency finally with the release, though hopefully nothing feasible will be savestated; preferably all stunts would be these obnoxious grind combos that keep going and going and going.. there were a couple of ideas that could've been nailed with some dedication and would have been worth it.

Clean editing and great presentation.

Late but here I go:

Good edition, the truth is that lately they are seeing works of art by the guys from VC which is great.
I do not detract from this video, not at all...
Grinds, combos, edges everything looks good, the only thing that suffers is the moment in which you come out of a grind and fall or just continue with another grind  , but when it slides it looks fresh!
Good decision making in the scene changes and you take 10 points here.
Music, very good, nothing to criticize.
I think they have already said it but in the part where you take out the weapon it looks very good and fluid, that's good!
Excellent, man!

killer editing with a killer soundtrack. Love your creativity using 3d in the short interludes, it doesnt interrupt the video but feels like its meant to be there  :jajaja:

This video was absolutely crazy. Really shows what is possible to do in stunting if only you are lucky enough. I wish we could leave this virtual machine and saved state bullshit behind us, but I fear that in the future people are still going to abuse it.

I love the shiny ass gold bike and all the interlude work. My favourite stunt was the ledge grind around the corners switching from front to back. It is so pleasing to see. The combo in the LS was also insane. The little bump the bike does on the finisher is just too perfect, even for a TAS video!

Basically he could save his game so when he had a perfect runup or perfect bump he can just make a save and load if infinitely so he always has the same runup or bump or whatever same applies with grinds

TAS means Tool assisted speedrun in speedrun community. We can say Tool assisted stunts for this video i guess?  :hmm: VM means virtual machine? Correct me if I'm wrong.

VM stands for Virtual Machine. The software is used to virtually host an operating system (windows, linux etc) with given specifications of choice. And VM software has a feature called "Save State". It can save current state of the operating system (RAM) to disk and you can go back to that exact moment if you want. It's mostly used as a backup when you're upgrading the software reside in that machine. So you can go back to normal state of the machine if you're having trouble.

That method is used for Vice City stunting that acts as "checkpoints". Say you had an excellent runup so you pause the game and create a save state. Then you go back to that exact moment if you fail. That way you can peform amazing stunts which normally wouldn't be able to happen in one-go. Thus it's called TAS (Tool Assisted Stunting).

Have I ever told ya about the best video regarding the editing?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRHVpBdlhh8&ab_channel=InckKkGaming (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRHVpBdlhh8&ab_channel=InckKkGaming)

or did I?

You have somewhat an editing style which I really enjoy. After all these years you have somewhat a distinct style and keep up with it. At least I would like to see your editing.

Stunts were good, I remember some tens (feeling old) years ago was thinking about some of theses tunts, but you blew it with grinds.

Nothing to remember about my opinion here? I do believe that I will again forfeit GTAS, but as well as I'm here, great job Jason.

LOVED IT
