So... One week untill the trailer... Make your guess.
Rumours are LA will be the one, what do you think? Or which would you prefer?

I hope it'll be SA, all islands, but not with fat bigass major too many changes so you can't recognize it like they did with IV.

Same. The ring on their website looks a bit Vegas for me. Liberty City is so impossible imo.

It will be San Andreas. Rockstar leaked some details about the city earlier this year, stating that the new version of SA will be a lot more detailed and realistic, making the difference between wild places and cities more different. I honestly hope that this game will keep the GTA tradition, that means better with every sequel.
Fingers crossed, waiting for the trailer...

Voted for other(s). Well, I would really really like to see a new city at this point, but even if it isn't going to be a new one, I can't fucking wait for it!!!

Nah I fear it might be New York, but hopefully they've moved away from big cities after IV and focused on variated landscapes and such. I both hope and think it'll be something SA-like.

I really like the vibe of VC so I voted for that, but if I really had to objectively guess, I'd say SA is the most likely one.

There have been loads of these so-called leaks. Most, probably all, fake.
What we know for sure is this:
1. That this is the fifth installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
2.The roman numeral five (V) is textured to look like money, so it can be inferred that GTA V will have money in it.

Nah, GTA V will take place in the United States, it's obliged and certified. It's same Rockstar who said it during one interview.

Vice City. A. The green on the V resembles the design of money in the states, so its not gonna be London or something. B. When I think of them putting that on the cover, I think about the mafia in Vice city. Plus, I heard about the game being called GTA V: Vice or something.

I'd love to see London but a more logical guess is something like SA, probably something like LA/Vegas/San Francisco.

Would be logical if it has the same chronological order as the III era but I also heard that there are references with London. I personally prefer the Netherlands. :ajaja:

A voice acting call-list was leaked ages ago (confirmed to be for GTAV) that shown a character from LA, it seems likely that it'll be in an area similar to Los Angeles, but I hope it's Vice City :D

Looking at the logo it seems a bit like a dollar note to me with a 'five' wrapped around it, maybe a hint to Vegas casinos? GTA Las Venturas would be awesome :P

Yeah it has something money themed to it as well, made me think of something Vegas related too. It's just that font that gives me this feeling :hmm:

A new report on Kotaku got information from 'a certain source' who says that the game will be set in Los Angeles and will have multiple playable characters. :hmm:

I have never ever been disappointed in a game by R* so I'm sure that whatever they do, it'll rock.

Interesting picture FloW, because it made me realize I never even thought of the option of this GTA maybe playing in the past. I just automatically assumed it would play in present time (which I still think it will, it was just funny to realize I never even considered the option)

OT: We should totally organize a collab and release it like a week after the game-release, to draw GTA5 stunters to gtas.net. Who here are getting the game as soon as it comes out? I assume most of you with a steady running PC are going to pre order it. :)

V probably stands for Vegas , so my guess it will be probably in Las Venturas (or SA map again) thats my logic since SA is the only GTA map that has no duplicate (VC/VCS , III/LCS/IV)
