Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 | My Thoughts (Demo)

So what do others think about the PES 2013 demo? I'm disappointed, but perhaps it's because of my ignorance of the controls when I'm so accustomed to FIFA.

Portal: Still Alive | CHALLENGE ME GLADOS! #1

Yeah, started a new playthrough for the original Portal game. Completed Portal 2 before but never the original, hadn't played it before so this was a new experience for me. Hope you all enjoy!

Computer Talk / Internet won't let me upload?
« on: October 29, 2011, 11:28:54 PM »
Got a weird-ass problem, I can download shit normally but I can't upload a thing it seems - I went on to speedtest.net and while my 50MB/s download speed was normal enough, it couldn't even BEGIN the upload portion - said connecting without anything happening. YouTube just stays on 0% saying 'starting upload'. Tested this on imageshack, it took about 2 minutes to upload a 191kb image - with my internet that's embarassingly slow lol, progress bar was weird as well as it went halfway, then 3/4, then halfway again, before deciding to just do it.

I tried disabling firewall and then re-tried the speedtest thing, but same thing happened (oddly enough my download speed boosted with firewall off lol). I am utterly baffled, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the cables for internet. Virgin Media's a pain in the arse at times!

Computer Talk / Wireless internet issue
« on: July 05, 2011, 05:10:07 PM »
Need some helpful advice about something - I got a Sweex LW055, and I recently swapped which computer was connected directly and wirelessly. In past computer in next room (Windows XP, older comp) was connected directly to internet and my current computer I'm on now was connected wirelessly, picking up the signal from a dongle connected through the USB port.

Due to circumstances needed for work I've now swapped this over, so my own computer is the one connected directly, and I want to make the old computer in next room use the dongle. But for some reason the dongle's not really being recognised, it seems it realises something's gone into USB port but it isn't actually acknowledging it's to pick up the signal or whatever, and I'm not sure how this can be fixed.

Any advice would be helpful.

TMS Chat & News / Favourite TMS Video

These are all listed in chronological order, to view them search for them in YouTube. Sadly a few vids are muted on the Tube like Voyage - can't be helped.

Just interested in what people's absolute favourite TMS vids are. Enjoy voting :)

VC Stunting Challenges / The greatest ever stunt
« on: January 12, 2011, 04:14:06 PM »
I want this pinned - and I ain't kidding. I've finally decided to publicly release this.

What you need to know:

1) This stunt is possible to do without RAD's method. I've reached the rail on several occassions, but never managed to grind. Therefore if you use RAD's method to land this you're making it quite lame IMO lol. Personally I started my run-up just underneath the bridge from Leaf Links.

2) The closest someone has come to landing this, as far as I'm aware, has been Tackleberry. He hit it all perfectly, and grinded the whole rail - only to bail on landing on the ground on completion of the grind. It was the most sickening thing I'd ever seen and it wasn't even my stunt! Can only imagine how poor Tack felt.

3) I discovered this stunt after watching a very old GTAS community video - before I had come to the forums, and before TMS. Someone did this p2b, but landed on the police station roof. I then wondered just how much further the bump could take you. If anyone wants ideas for stunts, look to the older videos and try to improve on the stunts you see in them.

4) Nailing this stunt will surely mean you've got a stick-on finisher in any vid. It's simply my best ever find and it's hard to think of a stunt that could top this.

Good luck to all those who try it. To any in TMS who are annoyed I released it, I could no longer sit onto it - someone has to land the fucker.

VC Chat & Support / Interlocked - VC Comm vid
« on: November 03, 2010, 11:08:18 PM »
People will probably bug out about this, but I don't really care - this deserves some recognition.

This video's just crept over the 50,000 mark on YouTube. People are still regularly watching this, and loving what they're seeing. 202 people 'liked' it and only 20 disliked it. This vid's only second to The Getaway 2 - somehow it's amassed over 150,000 views on the GTAStunting channel!

This vid had everything man - great editing, great music, great stunts, and Daffy being a wank and stealing the last stunt from me after the deadline. That's right you creepy Norwegian duck, I'm still bitter! :P

Gaming Discussion / Skate 3
« on: May 12, 2010, 02:10:16 AM »
Not seen a topic for this yet (not that I looked very hard), so just seeing if anyone else is gonna buy Skate 3 when it comes out? It's already out some places I think but it's on sale here this Friday I believe.

Here's a cool bail I had in Skate 2: PAIN!

EDIT: See, it's funny cos:

1) A stupid woman ped made me bail
2) The random AI skater guy bailed at same time hitting lamp post
3) I rolled right into an older ped, knocking his arse over
4) The AI skater bends around a tree
5) Cos I'm in it!

Computer Talk / Recording from Xbox 360
« on: February 09, 2010, 11:29:35 AM »
Now I have a PC in my room alongside my Xbox 360 and tv, I can reignite the desire to make some videos from my Xbox gaming. Question is, what to use - I was considering that thing called a Dazzle, but apparently there's issues with it working with Windows 7. I'd rather have a plug-in USB capture card than tinker about with the back of my PC, so any suggestions would be most welcome.

Never mind best music in general, when you open up GTA (whether VC, LC or GTAIV) to stunt your socks off, what song really gets you in the mood to nail that stunt?

For me, 'Just a Day' by Feeder's gotta be up there. What are your picks to help inspire fellow stunters?

OK nimrods, need some advice.

I already got this game ordered from ASDA for 35 quid. I expect to get it on 20th. However, visited my local game shop and they'll have it TODAY, but for 45 quid. Should I be patient and save a tenner, or get it before most others? :P

Computer Talk / Two queries
« on: November 16, 2009, 07:22:31 AM »
OK, first of all I'm still planning to get a new PC, budget would be about £400. I kinda got my eye on one or two, but suggestions from you jerkholes will also be appreciated. I use the term 'jerkholes' in the nicest possible way. Anyways, I'd mainly use it not for gaming, but for things like video editing - perhaps it's same thing in terms of how demanding it may be on graphics and stuff. I'm not talking about editing gta stuff, I film football matches lol.

Secondly, the old PC is staying put - it's currently in my sister's room, which is where everything else is, internet connection and stuff. Now, the new PC is gonna be in my room - I'm not too clued up on what to do in terms of both computers being connected to the internet, do you get a seperate wee box or do the computers have to share the one speed or what?

Hugs and kisses, your favourite fat Scottish bastard.

Computer Talk / Best of both worlds?
« on: October 23, 2008, 05:55:39 PM »
As some folk may be aware from my brief time on Xbox Live during GTAIV's initial release, I was unable to enjoy the luxury of being connected to both my PC and my Xbox 360 at the same time - it's either one or the other. This isn't much of a problem due to my free trial period being over for a good while now but I'm planning on asking Santa for a year's worth of Xbox Live to further enjoy arsing about in GTAIV online, as well as FIFA 09 too and whatever other games I get my hands on.

So, question is, can anyone point me in the general direction towards a product which can enable me to be connected to both PC and 360? My router (or whatever that thing with the blinking green lights is) only allows me to hook up one and not both. Any help would be appreciated, and any jokes about my lack of intelligence with technology will earn you a brief 24 hour suspension for pissing me off
