Hi guys,
Finally after alot of months and troubles and different editors and discussion, Im proud to present you the New DSS Crew video,
I think we all pulled out some great stunts and Im only a little dissapointed by Rainbow and Bixel although it doesnt really matter, I know you guys are busy with other things, nonetheless im happy you guys pulled out a stunt.
First was Daffy supposed to edit this video, I dont know really why he dropped it (?) I guess busy with life.
After that we agreed someone from the crew should edit this, Noah, Rainbow and me were interested.
But Noah got computer problems (?) and Rainbow dropped it for something else..
I said, I will take the job get this done. I choose a song which some may dont really like, but I think it fits the crew and my editing.
Anyway, enough shit: Also a big thanks for GDL, He made the nametags and eXlective for being helpfull and being one of my best mates around here.

Edit: That was pretty nice. There were boring stunts and there were awesome stunts. The editing was good imo, but I didn't care too much for the song. Typical DSS vid anyway, loads of stuckie-methods which I don't really care for, but as long as you guys have fun stunting your way that's all that matters ^^ The p2b's, grind2prec's and the bsm2stoppie2grind were the best imo

Fighter was really nice too, finally I saw the LV p2b landed in VC engine, many ppl claimed that they landed but this was the first time I saw it.
Editing was really good but the song lacked some excitement.

Ineeda though, wow he just owned this video, incredible stunting :). I personally found the rest a bit soso, but it's all good. Editing was also very nice, overall it's undoubtedly an awesome video :)

Amazing video guys, this is the exact reason why you are my favourite crew! :P
All the stunts were good so I can't really mention any particular. All the stunts had me mindblown a fair bit, really awesome job! I lost the finisher, but thankfully only as a spot, great job landing it.
The editing was good too, no unneedy effects, nor annoying colours. Everything was clearly visible and the camangles seemed flawless to me.
On a further note; this video makes me want to be able to do proper FBI bumps and BSMs. :rolleyes:
This was definately worth the wait.
Edit: I saw a white hotring flying in the intro, yet no hotring stunt in the video. Did you forget to add it? :3

It was a fairly good video guys, I don't mind your editing Fighter, nice work taking over and getting it done. Really loved The Big V in this, amazing ideas and executions. Top job everyone!

Yeah I was wondering about that too, as well as some cabbie boost near the window that seemingly looked like a double boost. I assume they were in at first and taken out for whatever reason :P

Yes, I needed to take a few stunts out, there were too less stunts for a good 2nd part, i dont like a small 2nd part, so i skipped a few, they are great though. You will see them in the next video i guess. :happy:

Okay so, that was awesome overall.. everyone had mad stunts, but ineeda was just above everyone with those MAAAD FBI bumps.. But I have to say that I enjoyed this video a lot, nobody had bad stunts so it was really nice video to watch :ajaja: Editing was really great in my opinion, great work on it :ajaja:

Ineeda's stunts are impressive especially that double grind although the ambulance cant be stucked.
Beast's BSM is huge and looks better with the rotation.
Also like TBV's P2B at that ramp thing.

lost the finisher lol. Me and Squeak were racing for it since last summer. Gj on landing it, you fighter owned the vid overall. Stunting wise it was typical dss, the soundtrack was horrible by the way.

Ineeda's stunts were cool but what the hell is that Ambulance doing there... It's possible with Packer so it kinda ruins a beautiful stunt.

Nice vid DSS, although i may have seen left-ish stuff here and there and it didn't fully address my expectations it was pretty neat, Ineeda was definitely a peak and his FBI bump to prec and double grind combo were fantastic.

Sick stunts by BG Hitman, Fighter, Ineeda, Luli, The Big V, Turok and Wizard lolol, but the other ones had great stuff too.
Ineeda was most epic, but disliked the stuck Ambulance, but I doubt it's possible without. :P Epic FBI bumps.

wat an awesome video, loved it, the song was brilliant, that intro was a sick idea, stunts which i diged, luli's grind to hope to prec, Biggy V's double grind to prec (wat a epic stunt), Fighters p2b (SAiVC), Ineeda's sick ass ledge to grind, BG's ledge to stoppie to prec, Wizard's epic p2b's, Fighters finishe with great distance, Ineeda's FBI bumps where insane, and pretty much all the stunts lol, editing was great

The song was pretty okay for my taste. The editing was a bit lame, but okay aswell. Stunting wise Ineeda, TBV and Fighter stood out for me, but the others did good stuff too so overall it was pretty good. I'm not really a fan of stuck methos, but oh well. Not really much to add I guess, keep it up guys and now go for an IV video. :P
Dunno about the stunts since I'm not a VC guy at all, so Ima give this a 8,5/10 :P
I somehow liked Celadon a little more.

Nice video. The editing gave a nice feel to it even though the song sucked. There were quite a few stunts that stood out but I would mention BG Hitman's roof ledge grind 2 stoppie 2 prec. Nice.

So fucking awesome vid guys, ineeda, tbv and puzzle pwned!!! The editing was cool, solid and very awesome quality. Ineeda fbi bumps are so awesome, i lost gummy's side p2b, but his execution was better. And tbv skimmer bump was so omg, SilentHunter psm's are so cool!

Alright, now you guys showed why you got a network spot, this is the best video you guys made and one of the best videos I've seen in a long time.
There's nothing much I can say about editing and music, they were good, apart from the angle in Ineeda's bridge FBI bump, in which the landing wasn't so clear, and the song was good, kinda different :)
Now, stuntwise, it FUCKING KICKED ASS, it wasn't just "stuck-things/SAiVC bigairs/mediocre combos/only a few really stand outs", it was pure awesomeness with some great creative ideas, let me mention my favorites:
Puzzle's CSM in LC(I'll say puzzle because wizard is a fucking gay nickname): It was huge, and it's hard to see those roofs landed, congratz for nailing it :)
BG's polebump2grind: I usually tend to imagine what is the stunter doing the first time the clip begins, and this stunt is one of those I simply have no idea of what's going to happen, I love this :P Great grind and great ending for it
Big V's packer2roofbump2roof: My favorite stunt in the video, perfect idea, perfect execution
Fighter's freeway ambulance CSM: It wouldn't be that great without the bonk in the roof and the 360º :P
Rainbow's p2b: Really nice find, love this kind of mid-height p2bs
Turok's packer2hugedistance2bonk: Fantastic bonk :)
Ineeda's ambulance2doubleledgegrindwitha180}betweenthem: Sick combo, and yeh, the ambulance looks ugly there but THE SET UP IS POSSIBLE SO STOP COMPLAINING(well that's what I think lol)

luli's side bsm combo: Nice... really nice :P
Puzzle's reciol p2b: Another nice p2b, good find
Ineeda's fbi bump in portland: FINALLY, I was waiting to see it landed :P
Fighter's side p2b in the parking lot: I always doubted that this was possible, but it's not heeh, the wallride wat sexy :wub:
V's skimmer bump: Great bump, now DO IT NATURALLY :ajaja:
Beast's bsm: You're a freak, you landed that goddamn hotel with a bsm lol
My only complaint stuntwise is about the finisher, yes, it lookeddifficult, yes, it looked huge, but you had better options for it (but maybe it's because I don't think saivc p2bs are as much as impressive as vclc ones, to me they're like rad-bump-land, they don't have the WOW factor of landing a roof we all know well for years :P)
Well, I mentioned more than half of the stunts in this videos as my favorites so you can't see how awesome I think this video is, you guy showed you really improved as a crew, hope to see more videos like this from you in the future
As for the viewers, quit fucking complaining about spots/stunts you lost, no one gives a damn and it only makes you look stupid

This video was sick! Felt from the first second that it'd be an awesome watch. Actually liked the music and editing a lot.
Some of the stunts here were fucking amazing - TBV's packer to ramp to bump, ineedas, Turok's packer to drop bump, TBV's and Luli's grinds to precision, ineeda's airport double grind (of cours the stuck ambulance made it look a little sketchy but still an awesome stunt), BG Hitman's ledge grind to stoppie to precision, Luli's BSM to stoppie to grind, Puzzle's packer-wallride-roof and finisher.. But really they were all fucking great.
Yeah I obviously loved this video. It's a keeper for sure! Two thumbs up.

Really cool video guys. Although the 1080p seems fucked I watched the 720p version which was flawless. I really enjoyed the feel of this video, the song and editing really put the video into an enjoyable category. Cool stunts too, although I dont really enjoy all the PSMs and CSMs in the video I did think they looked alright for my liking.
Very enjoyable stunt vid overall.

I like what I saw,it was a nice package full of lovely combo's,natural bump's,p2b's,grind's,bsm's,fbi bump's...and so on.You have used almost all method's and type's of stunting,and that is a reason more why I like this video because it shows your ingenuity and creativity how to implement your ideas in acts.They were perfectly balanced and evenly distributed throughout the whole video.The only thing that was missing were car stunts and some crazy taxi stunts from Rainbow.Although I have watched the video without music(I am currently unable to see a video with music,I hope to be able to do so due to the complete enjoyement)I really enjoy in this wonderfull spectrum of creative ideas.You have done a good job and just keep rocking on.

Ontopic: Rewatched the vid many times and let it sink in.. i can say this vid was definitely great, Fighter's effort to this vid was clear and he pulled awesome stuff, i also realized Gummy's stunt was a sidepb and not a PSM, and therefore.. sick stunt. Luli's stuff, both were such awesome grind combos, my favorite would be the wallride to round-ish grind to bounce to prec. BG Hitman's ledge grind to stoppie to prec was sick. TBV has done as par usual great stunting performance. Needless to say Ineeda was a star with his brown roof FBI bump and double grind combo from the ambu-stuckie which i assume is possible to set up naturally. Another solid video from DSS. Many csms and psms but everything was performed flawlessly. Definitely will rewatch it from time to time to get some inspiration. You're great guys. :)

Finally someone landed the finisher, me with TrYp tried it too, not that hard, but we always bailed the landing. It was almost a year ago. Good video, nice stunts, good job!

I have mixed feelings about this video, but it's very difficult to explain without sounding insulting.
On one hand, I want to praise this video a lot, and say 'this is the standard of stunting'. On the other, I am worried that, in actual fact, THIS is the standard of stunting...allow me to try and explain.
While I saw a great mixed bag of big-air and creativity, I was not too comfortable with the over-reliance of stuck vehicles being used to create bumps. It has an air of unnaturalness about it. Some of them I felt had evolved from the BSM and normal type of CSM, to making a CSM in a place that may be impossible to do in a real game (like on PS2, without the use of spawners or anything). There were shitloads of stunts in this vid that used a form of CSM and most I don't particularly have an issue with, but ones I did were things like Ineeda's stunt at 2:54, now how the fuck do you do that in a normal game? It's a fucked-up place to get an ambulance to get stuck. It's things like that which I have issues with. It's complicated to explain it flawlessly, but it's like people are thinking of new ways to do amazing stuff in a not so amazing way...
I thought the stunt at 1:30 was quite clever, not sure if anyone did that before but thought it worked very well. The Big V and BG Hitman had stunts I enjoyed, Turok's huge drop bump was quite sick as well (technically a p2b, just the bump came very late!). I still think the video is very well done, the stunts in it are very impressive, and are standards I never have (nor never will) reach in terms of the big-air side of things.

and when you talk about stunting at PC, never talk about PS2, it is like talk about diferent games, like one game, or talk about SA and VC like it one game

Thanks Kingjad for pointing out the problematic zones of the stunting aspect in the video. But as some said before Stuck Methods are something usual for DSS videos , though we will try to avoid them in the upcoming crew videos as much as possible. :)

Big V - Please do not change anything if you do not want to. Stunt how YOU want to stunt, and enjoy it as much as you can. I just wanted to point out my own observations, but then again maybe I am just out of touch with how stunting is today. I could barely keep up in 2006.

No you aren't. Stunting is like art, some people like classic art and hate the modern art (like TV's showcasing a movie in an empty room) and others appreciate the modern art.

Im part of the MO crew, but currently busy with so many other stuff + I dont have the motivation to stunt for hours anymore...about the editing...after watching it back a few times i realized this is my best editing job although there are a few bugs into some transitions :)
