I get pissed whenever I see a game decided by the referee like this one, fuck, that penalty was shit. I just cheered for the goals because there were some annoying guys rooting for Croatia to piss off the Brazilians at the bar. :lol:
Anyway, Brazil didn't do well in the first half, Neymar's first goal was pretty lucky tbh and it would probably end up 1-1 or 2-1 in the end.
Hope to see some better matches with fairer results in the next days, I've been waiting for this WC more than any other just to see it ruined by refs decisions.

Croatia should have ended 2:2 IMO, poor decisions by the referee...anyway, there's no going back now, we still have 2 matches left vs Mexico and Cameroon, which are both good teams. The Spain vs NL match was epic though, and even at such a point it could have ended with more goals.

Croatia blew Cameroon away!! Can't wait for the next match vs Mexico, which will be decisive for both teams. It's gonna be a tough one, Mexico is a good team (we saw that in the match against Brazil) and they will certainly try to do their best, but I think we can still win. It's going to be an exciting match!

Well, Brasil didn't deserve the win, Netherland neither. Greek deserved to win, but well, we can't change anything. Although whining about the referee / their theater acts is still the shittest thing to do. Football sucks. It's all about acting the gayest on the field.

I am really rooting for Argentina in this tournment, alot because I've been a Messi fan since about 2005... but also because of the others, but Robben's theatratical reaction doesn't mean there wasn't an offense by the Mexican player, because there definitely was... Robben did set up the trap for the Mexican player to fall into... and he did.
The Mexicans played well but were naive and their manager made tactical errors after going into a lead by receeding back and not keeping the same formation and style of play, they've invited Holland, and their manager, to take advantage of that and attack with full throttle, and it paid off for them eventually.

Yes I agree that this was not a penalty so I am not perfectly happy with this and Robben does go down easily on average. However I cannot be really upset as we had two unfair penalties against us already and the Mexicans took down Robben in the penalty area two times earlier (one of them broke something in his leg while doing so) and a pretty clear handsball from a Mexican got ignored. 1-1 should have been the 90 minute score, the Mexicans really gave us a hard time in the first half, but they were nowhere in the second half. The goalie of them did great work btw. But with the way the Mexicans were playing in the second half they would have been defeated anyway. Oh and, atleast Robben didn't try to get the referee to give the Mexicans cards like the Brazilians did.
Oh and that last part about World Cup virgins is just the big ol' case of butthurt :lol: Way to go man.

Let's see what happens. So far, Brazil isn't one of the favorites, the football we are playing is very poor. No working midfield which means direct connections from defense to attack, that's just not our style.

I was not offended at all btw, our country only has like 16-17 million people so getting in a few world cup finals isn't that bad if you compare it to Brazils 190 million inhabitants (in 2008). I was indeed angry by the anthem thing and the way they talked about the referee. While the Mexicans have something to be pissed about (eventhough it should have been a penalty earlier imo), the Brazilians have literally no reason to be upset/mad other than the team not playing as they were expecting to play.
Kind of the same how I get angry about Uruguay standing behind Suarez. If Robben bit someone nearly everyone would agree that some punishment is in order.
I have no way to single out the bad from the good supporters or governments for that matter so I just keep it at 'Brazilians'. So no offense to you :P Although I wasn't expecting a response like that. I like following the World Cups although I am not a football fan. I have to say I don't hate the game but more the whole 'culture' around it.
For me personally football is synonimous with insulting and fucked up mentalities. From where I am standing football has never been a fair game.

Oh please that was the worst referee I have ever seen. Referee 2 - 1 Colombia. Just as an example, Fernandinho had 4 reckless tackles in the first half and got away with all of them. Rodriguez barely touches Hulk and he gets a yellow with his first tackle. Red cards should have been given in this match. Not suprised if this guy got some extra money on his bank account.
My own country played pretty decent today but they lacked the capability to get through the defence and score. Also many offsides because the Costa Ricans ran away from their goal most of the time. Our attackers never adapted to that so a lot of opportunities were wasted. If we play against Argentina like this we get our asses handed on a plate. Probably, unless some of those missed shots are not misses next time. Happy to see we can score some penalties though, that has been different in the past. (this is only from the parts I have seen of this match, because I was studying mostly sadly.)

Well, Germany just teached Brazil how to play modern football, what a match! I couldn't believe with my own eyes when Germany scored the 5th goal lol Anyways, Brazil played a mediocre football all over the competition and to be honest, we were lucky to reach the semifinals. I hope this is a point of change for our national team, i really hope. Germany is by far the best team in the World Cup, they deserve to win.

There is still a scheduled match and it's not like the Brazilian team has no 'simulating bitchhhes'. :P Although nobody really cares about being third.. They should just remove that from the World Cup.
And yes I hope this is the wind of change the Brazilian team needs. You guys are very passionate about football (the Germans are also pretty passionate, just in a German way ;) I don't think Argentina wants the win more than the Germans do), but I coulden't enjoy the style of playing the Brazilian team had/has. In addition to what I said earlier and MtS replied to, I got a little carried away by that bullshit referee indeed, but it wasn't the same as the thing I didn't like about the Brazil - Chile match. Well too bad we had to lose with penals. I'd rather had seen a goal by Argentina somewhere instead of this. Overall I think our team played pretty well. It wasn't really 'football' football if you catch my drift but beforehand we didn't expect to even get further than groups or eights. If you get to semis though you want it all. Sadly that won't happen. I think I'll root for the Germans in the final, DEUTSCHLAND! :a-cheer:

I don't know if it's just me but Germany team seems a little blasé to me. They don't even celebrate the goals and the players looks so cold that is kinda boring to watch. Anyways, that's just an opinion from a South American that's used to a different kind of attitude on the field. But Germany is the best team here, they play the best football and it's clearly the favorite to win the Worldc Cup. It won't be easy like the semi-final though lol
