The trailer was pretty much what the first trailer for IV was. Not so big on story reveals, but more about the environment. I'm guessing that the map won't be quite as big as it was in SA (at least I'm hoping that's the case). Everything looks nice, and a love a lot of the little details, but I hope they can be a bit more creative with their mission structure than they were with IV.

Nothing more to do now but patiently wait, I guess. I wouldn't go as far as to say it'll be a 2013 release, but probably mid 2012. I'm certain it wasn't more than 12 months between IV's teaser trailer and its release.

EDIT: Don't be too surprised if dogs don't make it into the final release of the game. Considering the game is famous for random acts of violence being perpetrated by the player, I'm sure animal rights groups or whatever other cry-baby organisation you care to mention will kick up a stink. I remember old publicity shots of GTA III that featured school buses.

Anyone else notice the blimp at the end? I wonder if you'll be able to jack it. :3

You had wolves and dogs in Read Dead Redemption and nobody cared, but it is a different type of game so we'll see. I CBA getting all the images together (best off looking on GTAForums) but something people might like to know is that there's at least 5 different kinds of planes, bicycles and car customization in this game based on trailer :)

The animals in Read Dead incorporated the idea of survival though. A lot of animals in Read Dead were also wild and/or aggressive. Different kettle of fish when you're talking about domesticated dogs. I know Red Dead had dogs too, but they were only ever in towns.

Besides, GTA always suffers more scrutiny from anti-violence movements.

New York will always remain my favorite set for any game, Vice City/Miami being second. I'm still exited about San Andreas though. It would be nice to walk around all those free lands. And the mountains looks stunning.
I so hope for Tommy.

I'm a little more convinced the more I watch the trailer that it is Tommy doing the voice over, but the one sticking point is that he moves to SA for the weather? How much improvement could there be between SA and VC?

Claude moved from LS to LC in the GTA timeline. Maybe he was tired of the weather + all the gangs blasting him 24/7.

It might not be Tommy but if you listen to what he says, look at what he looks like. The age. It fits.

I really really hope its him

The original voice for Tommy confirmed he didn't voice the GTA V trailer. TBH he looks a little like Toni Cipriani from GTA 3 and LCS too :P

I believe R* had some beef with the original voice actor for Tommy so I guess he won't be doing jobs with them again.

If it's Tommy, I wonder who he fucked and got kids with..Candy Suxxx?

Antonio should be around 45 now, unless he died from a stroke after 2001 when he already was fat and lived at his mother's restaurant, eating all these Italian dishes. I wonder what really happened to him, rumors says he died but I don't know. He must have had some kind of disease, in 1997 he looked like 30, and three years later he looked at least fifteen years older
