I used these settings for my VC RP, they look really nice.  
But its more of a Interlocked look than a Doperide III look.

You might have some different graphics card settings that makes it look like that or monitor settings.

I have two ati 1950's in crossfire mode, i bet you have an nvidia card because when i had my old nvidia card i had more colorful colors, the ati's give me more contrast.

Well that's kinda why they're called Color Correction.
Though from my experience they look better with real life video than with games.

To me, the outcome of this tecnique look like a simple raised brightness and/or gamma effect.
Is it just me or there are more differences between adjusting levels and this technique?

i got an idea .... in the nvidia control pannel you can adjus color / digital vibrance(or WTH ) / brightness / contrast / etc .... i might try and play with the setting in the nvidia control pannel and see what happens
