I have the Wii U version, dislike the new 'classic' mode, but I'm really enjoying the game. I'll have to get an ethernet adapter so I can play some online.

Yea, i'm playin those modes to unlock everything but just been mainly doin vs mode with friends. no 8 player smash yet.

Messed with the stage creator today, that is pretty sweet. It would be nice if they have more options down the line with DLC. don't expect it, but that could take it to another level for hardcore players.

and yea, might be hella fun to battle online and get on the smash ladder.

I'd be down for that sadly my skypes effed up, might need to make a new account.

Oh and I need that ethernet adapter before I do any online gaming.

EDIT: Is it just me or is the GC adapter crap? I notice severe input lag at times and if I am too quick with the button presses my input gets eaten, or it does the wrong input. :/

I haven't had any issues with my adapter, seems solid.

I've been getting really heavy into the melee scene again....as far as online and watching the tourney's streams and what not. I'd love to have melee meet ups around here, maybe if my friend wants to too.

Sm4sh has been great from my non gamer friends and even the ladies that never play. It's good fun, but it still doesn't do it for me like melee. I always end up playing melee with my smash friend when it comes to serious action. Hopefully the meta game will keep developing, but it still feels a bit slow.

I've never played melee so I don't get all the hype around it, but I kind of get why people prefer it. Same reason why I prefer VC over V  probably  :jajaja:

I also ordered a gamecube contoroller, adapter and ethernet adapter. Hopefully they'll arrive sometime this year

yea, i'd say thats a good analogy Simon.  Just feels different.

Melee is like a good sparring session.

Like tetris on level 19 compared to level 8 in terms of speed and reactions.

Oh and the gamecube controller is the BEST way to play. it just is made for that game. I just got a fresh smash edition white one myself
