It always annoyed me how R* made clock towers and never put any working hands on them. Well luckily I'm hear to solve this problem with my almighty scenarios system...

Should be impossible. But if the float truncation failed, it would be possible. May happen if the float is irregular, even though the chances are slim. I don't know, really.. but I'm pretty sure I managed to get it to come up on the stats on PS2 somehow. Could also be the chance of the stats being altered by something else...

Never mind, I think they fixed it since.

If you want, I could post a SCM thread which awards "Perfect" stunt bonuses.

By the way.. the method of fixing Quadruple Insane Stunt Bonuses shown on GTAModding is bad ;)

Well I bet Flat Face could help you with some peds and weapons, not sure about interiors. I could help out with textures or other GFX stuff.

I like the taxi feature, looks interesting. Or the locker at the police department, definetely some good features you thought of.

Hmm.. I actually might need some work on the VJ moon textures.

Vigilante Justice has another one of the things which was in GTASA pre-release, but removed (probably too free up DVD space).
http://www.gamechronicles.com/previews/ps2/gtasa/gtasa.htm (Ctrl+F to find "Moon Phases")

I found a image with the moon in all different phases and cut them up for SA, then implemented the changes using C++. It goes through a 25 day cycle (as I only have 24 textures and one of the days is "no moon") based on the current in-game day of the year.

However, you can see in the screen that the texture is buggy where it fades out. This is due to the fact I had to import the textures with alpha enabled (even though the alpha is all-white). I just can't manage to get any tools to import the textures properly. So if you could manage to get them all in a TXD and nice, I'd be very grateful. Moreso if you could find some better textures with 29 stages of the lunar cycle (a real lunar cycle is 29.5 days) so I can make a 30 day lunar cycle as SA should've had.

Any help will be appreciated. I might be getting an interior done soon, so it's mostly the peds I need at the moment.

Added some ambient events in VJ...

And now you can go to the car wash and quicky fix yer ride... Just drive through and the steam will fix everything somehow.

Hopefully I can get some help with this soon. I can do most things, but not the required peds, interiors or weapons... And some nice GFX/art would be good!

GTA Modding / [SA|WIP] Vigilante Justice

Developer Statement
"I'd describe Vigilante Justice as a 'Feature Conversion'. There are no large map changes and it mostly aims to add new features and a new style of gameplay to the existing San Andreas setting.

There are some rather large additions, including working Car Washes and a whole new inventory system. Additional weapons is something I still need help to do but if weapons are added, they won't just be like the plain old weapons you've already used with a different model, they'll have their own unique features. There are also changes to minor details at the time of writing, changes to some food vendors have taken place. Another example is slight expansion of the drug dealers AI. All of these things advance SA one step further and make gameplay more immersive.

Vigilante Justice tells the story of Officer Carl "CR" Ronson in both the past and present tense. These parts of the story link up together nicely and take place both during and after the events of San Andreas. The missions are designed to be fun, action-packed and at times, down-right hilarious. Although mission 4 is one of a few that are made to be detailed and immersive."

Some Current Features
  • New Storyline
  • New Missions
  • New SA features
  • New, interactive HUD
  • New inventory system
  • New objectives system
  • Extended and fixed various SA features
  • Easter Eggs (duh)
What else makes it good?
  • It's not a bloody DYOM mission pack!
  • Precise mission coding ensures great missions.
  • Log File Helps Reduce Bugs.
  • Most features hardcoded, reducing lag and improving performance and stability.
  • CLEO-Independant, works with or without CLEO.
  • Extra SCM capabilities which improve mission coding.
  • BASS.dll implementation means smaller download size and bugless audio.
  • Installs alongside San Andreas, meaning easy install and uninstall. You can run normal SA while VJ is installed.

But someone needs to teach me how to do that with 20fps...

I think it will take a bit more till I get to 60fps.. one can dream, though! 40fps has been the limit so far.

Have you ever script modded the .exe? I think it's best to know that kind of stuff before you can go making assumptions like that.

Do you even understand the purpose of this mod? It seems you don't. This mod barely has anything to do with frame limiter.
