Stunting Tutorial[/b][/color]

Ok so Aries and I started making tutorial videos but that really wasn't enough so were going to make a huge long term project for the complete guide to stunting. This will include things like what trainers to use, tips and tricks from well known stunters and loads more goodies

Here is what you will need before you can start stunting:

We suggest using Stunters main.scm (Created by Dannye) as all the features can be accessed using shortcuts and it generally makes stunting a lot easier. It has built in teleport, jetpack, vehicle spawner and a lot more.
LC Stunters' Main (http://www.gtastunting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9551)
VC Stunters' Main (http://www.gtastunting.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9046)

LC mod Beta 1 is a map conversion for Vice City. It pretty much gives you Liberty City with the VC engine, motorbikes etc. When installing, be sure to make a secondary copy of VC because LC mod writes itself over VC. Also use the VC handling.cfg file, since there is something wrong with the LC one.
LC Conversion Mod (http://files.filefront.com/SEARCH/;3017390;;/fileinfo.html) (A mod that makes Vice City turn into Liberty City)

Spoosh is just a vehicle and pedestrian spawner, it is very good because vehicles don't disappear. Although a lot of stunters look down on using more than 2 vehicles (including the one you’re riding) in a stunt.
Spoosh (http://www.gtastunting.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=2980)

Now a lot of stunts you find in VC or LC will probably be old, this is why you need to download as many videos as you can, especially videos from people in the major crews.
This is so you don't end up having a stunt video full of old stunts.

How to save/view replays

Once you have landed stunt, gotten close or even just did something you want to show a friend. Press F2 to save the replay. Then if you want to view the replay press F3.

Now go out of VC and look in "My documents’ for a folder called â€ËÅ“Vice City user files"
In there will be a file called replay.rep, just copy and paste that into a place of your desire and call it something like "VC - Bsm1.rep"

Getting down to Business

Once you have everything installed and are now ready to stunt, you might wanna familiarize yourself with as many stunt methods as possible.

Also use the VC handling.cfg file, since there is something wrong with the LC one.
That's not right. It's fine if you just do bike stunts, but if you do car stunts than it's modded, cause the car handling is different between VC and LC.

you can do w/e you want in regards to which handling you use in my opinion, I use the VC one in LC :P (I could care less)

If I can help out anywhere just let me know :)

EDIT: finallight dont start that argument up again, especially in here (if you really must, then do it somewhere else, because its been done many times now, and still stunters have never really come to a unanamous decision. Anyway, moving on...

I wrote several tutorials for grandtheftautoforums.com when I started that. I don't use them any morem so since you're writing it I might as well give them to you. Use them, edit them, do whatever you like with them, just give a suiteable credit to me.

Oh, I just found out that I can't upload .rar files, so if you want it, just contact me by mail, [email protected].

It was nice, but there was one problem. You didn't pause the vids so people could read the text. I had to keep rewinding to read the text, then once I'd read it, concentrated on the stunt.

Edit: I forgot to put this in my post, for the photo of the BSM, and any photos in the future, could you attach a pic of the place marked on the map? A lot of people who are new to VC have no idea where places are.

(ii) and also some in that list dont really need tutorials for IMO ;)
(iii) and also also, give 'em time, Nitzkit and Aries have only just started doing this and have already gotten out 5 (or so) really good tut vids, you should be thankfull ;)
Nitzkit has showed every bump I think and the BSM tutorial was fine to but the wallride is suck ... I've just known now these things like how to set up a backbsm or how to set up a psm but I know every things of the wallride tut

28, shut up, dont download them if you already knew everything. End of discussion stop wasting your time. The wallride tutorial was very basic I know. A) People wanted it ASAP so I didnt waste time with things that are self explanitory. (Drop 2 wallride's etc) and B) Car wallrides are in the car tutorial which I am making.

If anybody would like to suggest something I could add to my tutorials, please go ahead :) Just dont do it by saying the tutorials are crap.

Also use the VC handling.cfg file, since there is something wrong with the LC one.
That's not right. It's fine if you just do bike stunts, but if you do car stunts than it's modded, cause the car handling is different between VC and LC.
I agree with finallight, they should use this this handling.cfg (http://www.gtastunting.com/forums/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=128893) where the wheelie bug is removed and the cars behave like they're supposed to in LC.

P2b without wheelie is EASIER... it took me about 10m to learn. just pull a tiny wheelie JUST as you hit the packer (just tap lean back) and let go... you are not wheelieing when u hit the bump. Nitz told me this on msn.

The guides have potential, its just that there is a lot missing.

No i mean like can you drop 1 off to the first island and then go back and get another 1?  because the two extra packers ARE part of the 2 car rule they will dissapear after long distances wont they
Title: Stunt Guide
Post by: Torque on May 24, 2006, 03:59:09 PM
Take one packer from the hyman garage, and take it to the side to block the drug guy, like Nitz shows. Then get another packer and honk the horn. get out and run over and get the PCJ. So far the Packer you honked with and the PCJ are part of the mission so they can't dissapear. Then you are free to get 2 more packers from anywhere you go without breaking the rule.

Either Dannye's main.scm which has the spooshpacker, spooshpcj and spooshfreeway feature or just use Spoosh, check the GTA modding section for details on these.

Title: Stunt Guide
Post by: ImPaKt on May 27, 2006, 10:47:15 AM
no, _hiei_, you wheelie by leaning back for a split second JUST as you hit packer so you do not lose speed or angle. This allows you to bump easier. Also, no wheelie p2b seem to have a greater possible height between packer top + ledge and seem to go a LOT higher when done well. A p2b that took me  5 weeks by wheelie took me 7 tries with no wheelie, and i got double height.

lol, the best method I've found (thank you Nitz ) is to lean back as you are about to hit the bump, just like a normal small bump. If the roof is significantly higher than the Packer, lean back when your front wheel is nearly touching the bump.

here it is.....get 5 stars, run like hell from the FBI until you get a FBI car coming towards you.....then.....omg....try and bump it  ..... you do that like 50 times and you should get a couple of bumps. And remember about the North glitch.

My best is 140ft crashed on landing. Its strange, I try to do the same thing every time, most times I crash on impact with the car, other times I get a tiny little bump, but, on the odd occasion, I get a really sweet massive bump. By the way, I am talking about cop car bumps (while on 4 stars), since I have only thus far tried it in VC.

its all up to prefference...i preffer to use keyboard because since i got used to it its easyer for me...tho the only problems with the gamepad that i know of are you have less controll over mopeds and stuff...

I know this is off topic but Are there any servers that a noob like me could go to to watch some pros doing their thing?  That would rock...I haven't found any, and in the servers that I've been in there were no good stunters...

Also is Liberty City mod a good place to start stunting or should you learn at Vice City?

Servers? Try the crew sections at the bottom of the main page or in the VC section>VC un-modded stunt videos. There's hundreds between these two places right here.

LC, VC it doesn't much matter. Whatever ya prefer.
