Changing weather in Video Editor.
« on: January 13, 2011, 01:26:43 AM »
Hello.  :euro:
Question - how to change weather on replays in GTA4 Video Editor? Some people sent me their reps for collab, and there are different weathers almost on each one.

I've got to do this for my IV video soon, so I'm not sure if this will work, but you can probably just copy a section of the timecyc you like to the same time and weather as your replay.

Ask on GTAForums, although I assume you can just copy and paste sections with notepad, probably not that difficult :P

Well of course it's possible, as long as you can change the timecyc (which controls weather) to correspond to your particular choice of time then you'll be fine :). To open up the timecyc, just right click the .dat file, select 'open with' and choose notepad. I'd also set it to default :)

Ok, i understand, but in timecyc, there are only examples of weathers. I need to change weather in Clips, coz for example one person gave me Clip with Night time, and other one with Day time. I want to set those two Clips into Midnight time.

So copy the midnight time/weathers over those for night and day :). I say it like it's easy, probably is, but I have no idea how to do it, so the best way to find out is probably checking GTAForums or ask someone there, they know everything
