Really amazing stunts, loved it! There were two I was thinking off, shame I can't record it like in VC with the replay mode :( How do you do it? You need any special item to connect the PS3 with the computer or what? Also in the stunt at 1:20 he uses turbo when he lands on the wall right?

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: Barney - Homunculus

It's amazing that in 2014, more than ten years after the firsts stunts vids, you guys still find some nice spots. I remember when I watched stunt'd 2 that was so mind blowing... lol how far is that now? I remember every time Barney came with a new solo was an instant classic and it went straight to gtastunting history, and this one I guess it's not an exception.

It's hard to apreciate the difficulty after so many years without playing but in my times I tried the one in 2:22 and was never even close so congrats on landing that one  Props on 1:35 also, old school rules  :P Also next one bump to grind was actually very cool and last one is simply WTF!

A bit off-topic but I'm quite surprise actually on how many of you guys are still around here, that's great! In fact I came here after watching some GTA V vids and see Daffy, TD, and others from the VC times. And I came here and I see that Barney just have made a new video in Vice City in 2014!!!

So much nostalgia! Keep them coming guys, you rule!  ;D

Best regards to everyone!

I still remember first time I saw a stunt vid. I used to play to Vice City a lot before discovering the stunting world. I don't know what it was but this game had something. The mafia lifestyle in 80s Miami, the music, landscapes of the city, it really puts you in that place. This combined with all the arcade game, not so realistic as new GTA, was a perfect combination for hours and hours to discover all hidden places, and all hidden things to do in the city. After achieving 100% of the game, after beating all the statistics, after killing thousends of people (lol this sounds quite psychopath  :D ), if I'm here writing this is because I wanted to exploit it even more. Definitely I was still having fun when I was just hanging arround the city with an Infernus listening fever 105. So, I started to search in Internet what more could I do in this fascinating city. In those days youtube didn't exist yet so it was more difficult to discover that there were people who played Vice City like a skate game trying to find good spots arround the city to perform stunts but finally I could arrive here.

I remember it opened a whole new world of possibilities to do in the game. Hundreds and hundreds of hours riding the bike for the city looking for new stunts to perform. I could possibly had been doing a stunt for two hours, same place, again ang again, and the question is, why? It was worth it to "loose" the time on doing it? The answer is yes, definitely yes. And if you are here reading this is because you feel it like me too. The pleasure of landing an insane stunt you had been practising for weeks it was amazing. It was just a stupid videogame, you gained nothing for doing it, but I didn't care, I was Addicted To Stunting (lol, don't ban me for the bad joke  ).

Nowadays when people think on something they have spent a lot of time in, they tend to evaluate how useful it was or how profitable it was or it is for them lifes. The problem is that society only evaluates this things in an economical view. It seems all things you have to do in life have to be things that makes you more succesful. "Success" I think is considered as being in the top of the others and you achieve this basically with money. And also with pretty girls but they can be in money too... And you probably now might be thinking, what the fuck is this random guy telling me and what kind of drug did he took? just joints, believe me .

What I want to say to every stunter who reads this is, everything you did in life is worth it if you enjoyed it. We have to do things that make us happy and no matter what. Stunting couldn't never be considered as wasting time since the moment you are happy doing it. And whatever the hobby you do it's the same. I quit stunting basically for lazyness on trying harder spots again and again but I had a little bit this feeling of "wasting" time. Now, years later, I realize that this is a very stupid thinking. Those were the days. Arriving in the afternoon at home from the high school and the only thing I had to do was to land that fucking PSM. And the sensation of landing it was so much better than some "supposed" succesful things I did in life.  I envy you for still had during more years and some even now the passion for stunting. People say it's not good to be "obsessed" with something but I think it's a great feeling to have a hobby you really like. Sometimes I feel more empty now that theorically I have what they call "sucess" than then when I was a "nerd" guy just doing jumps with a bike in a "stupid" videogame.

This vid really put me in a nostalgic mood. Maybe it's me but I see kind of an old school style with the editing and the stunts. Some really hard ones, I can imagine the hours behind them. Definitely the greatest way to say goodbye to this, but as you can see you always come back sometimes ;) Thank you for doing this guys, it brought me very good memories.

I wish you good luck in life, greetings to everybody :)

P.S. believe me, find what it makes you happy and do it until you get bored of it, never leave something because it isn't "useful" for achieving a suposed success (this doesn't means leave shcool to play, obviously, but don't stop doing things just because of what the others might think or because you feel like wasting time, if you are having or you had fun with it never could be a waste of time).

P.S.2. it was funny when I saw me in the boat samurai haha. By the way in the credits I saw that you landed that last one of TOAS, nice job on it  ;)

I dunno if I can ask him about it here, but I do.
LP: Why did you stop stuntning? And why don't you start it again?
Education I think.

Yeah mainly education, he also moved to cambridge, england for a while to study, so I'm guessing internet access was limited.

Well, basically it was because I get bored... And matt I didn't go to Cambridge   I was last summer in London but just a few months... It would be nice to stunt again but it takes a lot of time and now I have other things to do... I removed the game from the computer but I still play sometimes on playstation just to have fun.. hehe

And now because it's summer I have time to spent so I come arround here to see what has happened since I quit..  Keep me informed about new good vids because I still like to watch it as I said with "Yeah baby"

wow, wow, WOW!!

This vid is really, really great!! The intro is fantastic,  a work of art!

The stunts are awesome!! There are some very original ones without any suporting vehicles and this it's really complicated nowadays after years of stunting in VC! These stunts combined with huge packer bumps and the other stuff makes the 12 minutes vid very variated and then very enjoyable, even for somebody who don't stunt for ages

The editing is nice, without too many effects so you can see all the stunts perfectly. Also the credits part is very good because it's not boring and there are some good and funny stunts.

Great job Dannye! It makes me want to stunt again!   10/10 for sure!

P.S. Kenny well done on the stunt at 3:50. I tried this a few months ago on the playstation just for boring and I couldn't land it. Best attempt I crashed into the wall and I arrived without the bike. Though one, well done!

P.S.2. Sam I tried that sanchez precision landing too (4:34) for mut8tion but I got really pissed off after one bilion of attempts

I think it's the first vid I watch this year and all I can say is "Oh My God". It makes me want to stunt again   Really awesome stunts, it's amazing how you can still find good spots. I specially liked Tackleberry's stunts like the taxi one to the box in Liberty or the grind to grind in hyman condo. I wanted to see this one done it because I tried it but never get it. Congrats for it!

This I think it's quite obvious but well...

10/10

And what about in the first one grind the first rail and then with the bump grind the other? Would be possible? Would be the best stunt ever?
Thanks a fucking lot for giving away my idea there!

I think it was quite obvious after seeing the challenge for first time. Otherwise I tried it some months ago when I still stunt and it's practically impossible to have a good bump to jump all the gap... And have the luck to grind again

Watched the video...
It was not bad, but there were some things that i didnt like:
1) The intro: you neede to put some music into the intro, cos it doesnt look cool without any music...
2)I didn;t like blades stunt, they look just stupid..
3)Also didnt like arky's packer2psm, looks awful
4)Some of the stunts were old...
So the video is good, well done all of you..
Dont be so angry with me if you dont what i said, its just my opinion..
7.5/10

Agree with all points. In general a cool vid but nothing amazing; otherwise there were some nice stunts like some bumps to grinds...

BTW, nice Christmas smileys!

Well I think it has passed a lot of time since I posted a challenge here. As I'm more or less retired I'm gonna give you some spots that finally I never did   By the moment try this one. You have to put a car just after the bump because if not it's impossible. I don't know which could be the best car to use because I tried with a tank, a flatbed, a caddy... but meh, there was no way. So, try to do it, I want to see this done it   I offer 300 points to the first who land this.

Amazing vid guys. Watching vids like this one makes me want to stunt again   A lot of original and creative stunts. I especially liked the grinds, it might be quite difficult now to find new grinds I think.

The music was very good and the editing maybe not impressing but enjoyable.

And about the name I don't care about it because I don't know what it means and I'm too lazy to pick up the dictionary
