Just like Walking Dead, Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones this is a show I SHOULD see but I never have the time. If I want to begin watching Dr. Who now, where should I start? What season? I'd rather not watch the ones from the 50's.

Start from the beginning. Every season for me since they brought it back has been very enjoyable. Annoyingly, this season's been a let-down so far. But go back to Season 1, with Ecclestone and Piper as the main roles.

Since you dont have much time I will suggest you to start with 'modern Who'. That's 1 season, directed and broadcasted first in 2005 with Chris Ecclestone as the Doctor.

My dad bought the first season (2005) on dvd and we watched the first three episodes together a few days ago. Today I was pretty bored so I finished the first series. Pretty sure I'll start the second season tonight. It's not super good or anything, but what I like about it is the possibility for different settings, keeps it kind of fresh I guess.

Also, can I fucking say how much I hate Rose, she is a total cunt.

Walking Dead
:jajaja:

I do not watch this, I could probably count the number of episode I have watched on 1 hand. All I can say is David Tennant was really great at playing the part.

Alrighty, tiny update.
Finished season 2, 3 and 4. Tennant was good fun, and Martha was the best companion.
Favorite Episodes were probably "The girl in the fireplace", "Blink" and "The waters of Mars". They were like, really really good. The rest is everything from good to eeh, but those three stood out in my eyes. Also the reveal of who The face of boe is, my mind was like "AAAAH SO GOOD"

Anyway, just started season 5, loving the new doctor, and the new companion. So unless they fuck up real bad this is going to be a good one.  :jajaja:

She was horrible. Like 60% of the episodes was because she decided to wander of and get caught in some or other situation. It was really frustrating to watch.

^Martha knew her shit, if she messed up she fixed it herself. And she even fixed some of the doctors mistakes. Donna tried to be funny all the fucking time but she wasn't.

Also, done with season 5. My favorite thus far. Best episodes, best doctor, best companion. It's gooood.

AMY IS HOT!
