This will be on a trial basis. Too much spam and the feature will vanish. Things are still to be tweaked so don't complain if you buy say a username change at 100 credits and it changes to 50 credits. The staff is not responsible for scams and the such either.

EA has bought PopCap. Prepare for not only PopCap games being removed from Steam but also a influx of pointless DLC that in total costs more than the game it's self, terrible support, almost monthly releases and best of all online servers being taken down a year out from release!

A leaked list of the next games from EA-PopCap that will be releasing in the next few years.

I saw the word mission.

But I couldn't see if there was multiplayer in those 0.001 second texts. Can't wait.....
Beat is jumping the gun a bit on that one. Still have a ways to go before we have missions. It's on the to do list though if it ever becomes possible. As for multiplayer, we just now have a semi-usable SCO editor so it may take a bit for someone to figure out what's causing the MP crashes with the mod.

One resident video editor, Beat, recently asked the team of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto IV San Andreas modification if he could create a trailer for it. This is the fruit of Beat's labor.

GTA IV: San Andreas - Trailer (Official)

The team is currently aiming for a August beta release. You can find out more regarding the modification at the mod's website.

That's cool, hope they do the same for Red Dead Redemption. :euro:
Seems a bit late for a PC version but hey, Rockstar has been years late with PC versions before with the PC versions of Bully and Manhunt 2.

I'm too lazy to re-type...

Last year we mentioned that Rockstar Leeds was working on a "next-generation" PC title. Today, Rockstar has announced that Rockstar Leeds is currently porting L.A. Noire over to the PC and is set for a Fall release of this year. The PC version will feature 3D support, increased fidelity and improved graphical enhancements. A more specific release date is said to be announced soon.

gta fans must unite against this rip off
You do realize that one of the creators of GTA along with former developers of GTA I and II created this, right?

The gun play sucks
The weapons don't feel as if they were Fisher Price toys instead of actual weapons. Not to mention the sound and animations just blow on them. Don't get me started about the hitboxes.

it's laggy as shit
It is. Have you seen the forums for it? Both in the RTW beta and the Reloaded beta one of the most things complained about it lag and stuttering. This is despite the fact that the server I was playing on is near me. Apparently it's been fixed somewhat in the open beta according to change logs but I'm done giving chances. And no, it's not my computer either. It can handle Crysis, GTAIV, [insert any other demanding game here], etc. just fine. Yet APB lags even though it looks worse.

and the handling blows.
Another thing that has been beaten to death in both betas and in the final. The handling is bouncy, sluggish and just plain shit.

If you want a free GTA cops and robbers, download SAMP and join CrazyBob's Cops and Robbers.
I'd say at least 95% of the people on this forum have San Andreas. If not, a one time "fee" of $10 isn't much and you don't have to buy weapons and extras with real money later on.

Look, I've tried to give APB a chance twice and I really wanted it to succeed if only for the sake of RTW and David Jones. The idea has real potential but both owners (RTW and now GF) fail to realize that the core mechanics need to be fixed before throwing it onto the market. RTW management completely ignored everyone who said the core mechanics were shit. After they went under a number of developers came out and said they wanted to fix it but management said it would be fine the way it is.

Am I the only one that thinks APB is boring? I mean seriously the only actual fun thing is to customize your car and character...that's it. The gun play sucks, it's laggy as shit (both the original and reloaded) and the handling blows. If you want a free GTA cops and robbers, download SAMP and join CrazyBob's Cops and Robbers. Tons of shit to do, free and most importantly it's actually fun. http://www.cbcnr.com/

Gaming Discussion / Re: Duke Nukem Forever
« on: June 11, 2011, 09:31:38 PM »
For all the bad reviews it's getting, I thought it was actually not bad. The demo was shit and had me on edge about the game, but actually playing the full game was totally different. Most of the reviewers are complaining how the game is not politically correct and stuck in the 80/90s but that's the whole fucking point of Duke Nukem! Others are saying the graphics are bad but honestly I find they are even somewhat better than COD 4/WOW/BO graphics. I loved the diversity of the SP story, lots of different types of gameplay and settings. The only part I hated was the ending. The ending was a complete let down for me. I haven't been able to play MP but it looks good. So is it good? Yes! Worth the wait...meh no but what can you do, the game's development was mismanaged for years. It's hard to overcome that. I'll report back on MP when I get my own copy on the 14th.

Watch me

(they would have released RDR if they were going to continue with PC versions bro :P )
So Rockstar is hiring PC developers to specifically develop PC games because they are not going to continue to develop PC games? My brain now hurts.

From my experience with it over the weekend, L.A. Noire uses Havok physics and the vehicle handling is more arcade like than say GTAIV.
