^that's ironic, because the short time I played cod on xbox I encountered more hackers, whiners and over all faggy players. But they might have seemed more like whiners because everyone had a headset.. Though of course, wherever your friends are it's 10x as fun to play with them. And I'm not saying ps3 doesn't have hackers, it does, I just rarely come over them.

I have to add one thing is the mods. In ps3, it's easy as fuck to hack some prestige (cod for example) and get it to work without getting banned, on the xbox, except if you get to a lobby, you cannot do it all by yourself. You can on some games yes, but most of them will get your account and your console banned.

These times, the XBL for one year is at 74CHF (50-60€) with 3free games every blabla time, dunno how long it is, but yeah, who care, I didn't get the live to get free games, just to have fun with friends.

I'd rather playing with my friends, having fun on the xbox than getting fucked by hackers on the ps3.

My friend brought over her 360 for awhile one time and had IV. I noticed WAY more modders online XBL than I did on the ps3 version. And they were far more malicious on the 360 too.

I've personally only seen hackers on CoD4 and WaW (now, not when they were new) and it isn't too often. I just report them, set it to avoid them, and report them. If you find one you can usually switch into another lobby without finding another. I've heard of a fair few hackers in IV too but not seem any myself, but I never really played that game. I think there are probably close to the same amount of hackers on each console.

There weren't many modders online IV until the past couple of years. There are a shit load now. Mostly on tbogt, but are on all versions. Not trying to start another xbox vs ps3 debate, but we noticed many more on the 360. I thought for awhile that you could only mod online the 360. but eventually I did start to see the ps3 modders as I played more on my system. And I hadn't played gta IV online in years until recently. I was disappointed to see all these cheaters. it was just like sa-mp and s0beit.

I'm sure mods will corrupt V eventually, but I hope it takes a long time for the online/multiplayer ones to pop up. :p

I haven't played online on PS3 so I'm not sure. I just can't understand why the developers of games/MS/Sony do not regularly release patches to reduce modding and stop them. Once they start a new game the developers just seem to abandon their older titles and the modding just builds up until it's unplayable.

Every game can be hacked in some way, GTA V world leaderboards have already gone to shit  :(

Got my first shot at Online today. I am totally getting screwed over. Today was finally the day I got past the race mission. Afterwards got the free car insurance thing and free tune (made a sweet Mustang). Next thing I know I lose connection, can't join for 3 hours and when I get back my car is gone while the rest of the missions are still completed. So no free car for me............................ Just nice. My second car which I paid for dissapeared aswell, so no more cars for me. My neighbour has no problems with V at all, he can do jobs, store 10 cars without a problem. Even connect in a few seconds while it takes me an hour at least to get in. And when I am in nearly none of the downloads of jobs work, they all fail. Did 2 missions and robbed a few stores in the course of 4 hours. It is totally unplayable for me and I have no clue as to why, I mean, my internet connection has never been better. Seriously annoying.

EDIT:// we are both on Xbox btw. But it seems R* doesn't like me. Maybe because we already exploit their bugs for stunting yet again while my neighbour does not :P

I not sure how you can check, but you should see if you NAT type is set to strict. That may cause you lots of connection problems and cause trouble getting into game. The game only saves to the cloud/servers at certain points online and you will see the orange circle spinning in the bottom right corner when it is. Just sounds like it didn't save and not a bug. To get a personal vehicle only costs $6500 to add the tracker and insurance once you find the vehicle you want, you can earn that in 1 race... if you can get into one  :P

I have played on both the 360 and ps3 online gta IV and there are modders like crazy. But it is only on IV mostly. I think this is because it is such an old game now, and with R* working on V they just didn't have the time, or care much about what was going on in IV.

I was going to start a new topic but this will do fine-

What are your plans with money? What are you trying to save up for and such? Honestly I only really care about weapons right now, I'm only level 18 and destroying level 60's that have rifles n such but I still want an AK.
After that probably a house? I don't really care about most because they're just generic high rise apartments everyone's getting so I'll prolly buy some crummy house and stick with it :D

Bought a $200,000+ apartment, spent a bit of money on weapons (want to spend more on them but keep getting distracted by car mods), modified a few cars but I haven't bought any yet. I'm only about level 35, not playing the hell out of the game since I don't want to get bored and waiting for the new features. I spent all my $50k a few or so ago because I found you enjoy freemode a lot more when you have no worries about money... of course they nerfed the hospital bill after which was a bit late. I have $100k atm so I'm saving and will gain a bit more then spend most of it, some on weapons and some on cars/mods.

I hope to buy a capture device soon and do a little stunting. Il have to add some of the Xbox guys too!

Btw does anyone know who created any of the 2 gtastunting.net crews for GTA V?
I'm not a member but just curious.
