you can edit the texture on the model, if you don't know what I mean then google "texture unwrap" there are tutorials on here but I'm not sure whether their links are still online, have a look into it and post back here when you've had a look

Bike rims are attached to the main model of the bike unlike with cars, they're all separate models *editable like in the pack you downloaded*

If you want custom bike rims, you're best off going to the market place and asking a skinner

you can edit them but not move then around, in saying that it's not going to really make any stunt easier or harder, just different and could be exploited but penis.

My god its sick! i think it might not be able for stunting

From an admin who knows what he's doing modding wise, it IS. Jason knows what he's doing and as long as he doesn't edit the wheels physicality, it's exactly the same *on that first bike posted*

it could be many things, are you running an old PC? Try asking a friend who hasn't got the issue for their different main.scm

make sure they're named correctly, if they're even slightly wrong then the game doesn't see them, thinks there's no character *or whatever* model and can't open

GTA Modding / Re: VC car draw distance
« on: November 21, 2013, 02:50:34 PM »
Vehicles aren't controlled by the same bits as the map, I'm not actually sure what controls when they flip to LOD..
The draw distance mod was a .exe editor wasn't it? if so I don't know anything about .exe editing so I wouldn't be able to go beyond whatever it was capable of.

Your best bet is to replace the LOD with the model main model *they're both inside the same .dff file* I'd do it for 1 but then I'd have to go through and edit all the stunt vehicles for people.
If you ask him nicely, I taught Radioaktive/Mellon/Greg/whatever else he goes by yesterday how to replace a .dff with another model so he'd be able to do it but whether or not he'd be willing to I don't know

EDIT: actually seeing as it's already a working part of the .dff if any one with importing/exporting knowledge wants to give it a go:

1. Import the .dff into MAX
2. Select the "Chassis_vlo" part and delete it
3. Select the "Chassis_hi" part and duplicate it
4. Select the "Chassis_hi001" part and re name it "Chassis_vlo"
5. Select the whole thing and export for VC

----

The name "Chassis_" could be slightly different on each model, last night I found out my skimmer had "chassis_vlo/hi" and Greg had "boat_vlo/hi" so it's just a matter of replacing whatever "??????_vlo/hi" is in your DFF file.

I won't go into how to go about importing models and all that because it's a whole bag of worms I just can't begin to describe especially through basic text communication but if you've ever mucked around with 3ds max and gta files then you should be able to do this with possibly some googling

some fantastic stunts, I'm not sure how I feel personally about the boost, I'd be okay with it if a stunt wasn't otherwise possible but I get the feeling most of these are? Either way I still enjoyed the video

Good job mate! I'll see if I've still got my skins for SA, I highly doubt I'll bother stunting in SA but I'd be a part of a list

The damage causing bails is probably because the games physics engine doesn't quite know how to react with such subtle changes if you know what I mean

Good looking method though, usually that type of collision in online is insta bail, wonder what other online only methods we'll see this time round?

PS, I just fixed my DualShock III which was doing the same thing, it's a pretty simple fix only requiring some electrical tape and 15 mins or so, if you want to give fixing it a go lemme know n I can walk you through it
