What happened with the mickeymouse model man? :(. Promagic was meant to send you the .dff and .txd, if he didn't then send me a pm and i'll send you the files.

I did get the files however I couldn't fully rig it properly and when I did, a new huge error would pop up(the mesh collapsed in on itself) I have a Kingdom Hearts version of Mickey I was going to rig for you instead but his feet are stuck together and I can't pull them apart normally.

I'll give the original Mickey another shot seeing as I've reinstalled 3DSMax, but I don't think it will make much difference.

EDIT: 3DS isn't letting me export the rig normally which means I'm going to have to try the super long method. It may take quite a while because I've a few thousand things I need to do tomorrow and on the weekend, but I should hopefully be able to get it done.

Sorry for putting it in your shop Neriek, I just want to SHOW MY SKILLZ muhaha.
I don't mind. SA huh? not too bad, pretty good for a first rig. I'm putting together an in-depth tutorial, on how to get great rigs, it'll be ready soon after everyone stops bugging me lol.
It's VC. SAiVC haha.

Since this model has 2 textures it can't go over the normal player.dff and .txd.

So open up IMG Tool, open gta3.img, find player2.dff and player2.txd, extract them(keep them somewhere safe).
click Commands > Add, and find both your model and the txd file. Then just to be safe click Commands > Rebuild archive. Add me on skype if you still need help lol

wow man, great work... I've also started rigging and modelling, but for San Andreas. Like clothes, weapons and characters for like one year. Is it a lot different to rig models to Vice City I just wonder...

Yeah Vice City is easier... I just gave up trying to get my DeadMau5 head to work properly. I got it rigged perfectly, but it only works when I replace head.dff although it's disgusting textures. I tried using the player.txd in gta3.img and head.txd in player.img. THEN I tried replacing cornrows.dff and .txd in player.img and that only caused it to crash.

Vice City however, I just need to rig it, adjust the bones to make it nice and clean, then export it just once instead of 3 times.. It's pretty much the same as rigging Peds in SA.

Yeah I just tried to rig a head to Vice City on my laptop in 3DS max, it's a lot easier than SA. most annoying thing in SA is the neck. Mostly there will be invisible gap there... But I will definitely try something harder on my power pc

by the way, can you post a better picture of your deadmau5 rig? from back and sides I would like to see it.

Got it working in SA this morning, so I'm pretty happy about that. I'll take pics next time I open up VC, it's pretty much plain ol' what you see is what you get though.

As for everyone else, I woke up this afternoon feeling sick as shit, had a massive headache, and the dogs were barking all day, not to mention I forgot my medication. So I didn't get any requests done, other than fixing ProMagic's model. I plan on getting Neotec's, & MikeyMouse's models done over the weekend. Also I feel like I'm forgetting someone else's request but whatever.

Yes I did, and I'm sorry but I don't model anything from the ground up as a request.. It takes too long. However if you manage to find what you want (or even part of it I guess) on one of those websites in my first post then I'll do it up for GTA.

Also, a note to everyone else.. I'm very busy lately getting ready to move, after my birthday in July, I'll be leaving Townsville, and it'll take me a while to set myself and everything up. Mikey, Neotec, I'm sorry I've still got to finish your requests, I haven't forgotten about you guys, add me on skype if you want and I can send you the requests directly when I get around to them.

So it took me a little over a year to get a new computer. Ironically, this "laptop" is smaller, and less powerful than my old one, however it works and I can start rigging and skinning again. Before anyone asks I don't intend to pickup where I left off with the old requests I didn't finish before, but we'll see what happens.

I've also started studying full time, and so I'll be incredibly busy for the next 6ish months. I know it seems pointless for me to even post this if I'm going to be hard to reach but I need something to do inbetween my assignments, exams, and studies, as a break or whatever, you know what I mean?

Requests will be open when I finish redownloading my copy of 3DSMAX, and all the other tools I use.
Also be sure to check out the model rigging tutorial I posted last year in the modding section(it may be pretty lame but it should get the point across), I'll help anyone who posts asking for advice(supposing I can give you the answers you need, or if I even see your posts.)

Anyways, just thought I'd actually let you guys know I'm back rather than lurk the forums, and laugh like a little girl as no one notices I'm here lol.
