That would depend entirely on what they are trying to sell me.
How did the crew get formed, and how do you feel it has evolved over the months its been running?
In 2006 I was registered on a site called The GTA Place (http://www.tgtap.com). I edited a collab with 3 other guys from that site; Slayer; Engel, who is a friend of mine irl; and Jace. After the collab Slayer sent me a PM asking if I wanted to form a crew with him, as we had been getting on well during the process of making it. I agreed and we asked Engel to join, then the rest was history
The crew has added 7 more members since then. However I don't feel part of a football team, more a small family. We never have really taken stunting seriously, I think we have as much fun speaking to each other and messing as we do making videos. That is probably why we take so long to make videos, that and the fact that we are so lazy
If I wasn't in GLS I would probably have quit stunting long ago, and missed out on some great friends <3

Why do you make stupid topics when you're being Bazrun? As far as I know, this topic is not stupid. Alot of GTAS members like GLS and this is a more effective way then asking it all through MSN.

Very active. We have our own little invisionfree forum where we can write down information for all of us to see, but 99% of it is spam and general chat Its good because Wheelman and GM live in canada, so without that we wouldnt get alot of chances to talk.

I didn't find any spots and gave up. I didn't have the motivation to keep searching for spots since I had spent countless hours in SA that weekend without landing shit, so I just thought SA was nothing but a load R* didn't swallow.

Recentley I have really been trying to incorporate a certain style of stunting into SA after I saw a crew video by some guys called New Breed. I'm not just saying that because you asked the question, I honestly mean it, I love the way you guys have such a diverse stunting style compared to an average crew
As for my favourite stunters or crews, I simply couldn't answer that without confusing myself.

We will always be a primary SA crew. VC is waay to oldfag. GiftedMisfit is stunting more in VC than in SA atm tho. Maybe all that time without a processor that could handle SA had an effect on his mind.

i thought that (call me obvious) that godpeed was one of the best ones we did. i mean we've come along way with effects and graphics but it was the rawest video i think we've done. plus my most pwnage stunts were in that one.

@Spellbound: Well, it's hard to say which one was the best. NWTD was great in terms of stunts, imo. But Wergild was best in terms of editing. For me, it's really hard to choose.
@B-Nudl: It depends on the attitude of the person(like KS said) and both the skill. Just not too much based on skill.

I wasn't in the crew at that time but I can guess it. Ghost did a total different style and I'm sure he had a thought that he did an amazing job and I think when someone decides to post something new and very different, that person expects it to be good of course, otherwise he wouldn't have made it different.

To all the members of GLS: Which five people would you like to collab with and why?

RAD - Spoke to him on MSN and hes just an awsome guy and a great stunter. Its the shame he was inactive when I was in XSA and incative now because I would of loved to be in a collab/crew video with him
TD - His infernus stunts have always impressed me and it would be great to be in a video with someone who inspired me to hop in an infernus for a change.
Tackleberry - One of the two people who inspired me to stunt. I loved his stunts in Never Gonna Stop and that was the first real video I saw. It would be an honour to collab with him. Even though his SA stunts inspired me and he does not stunt SA anymore, I wouldn't mind doing a collab in VC.
Kert - Same as Tack really, inspired me to stunt and I would love to be in a video with someone who got me interested in stunting in the first place.
Mr.Magic - A really great guy and a fantastic creative stunter who always seems to impress me

I done one off the SF bridge bump facing direct south, trying to land the bridge. It would be both lame and awsome. Unfortuntley although I managed to go perfect south I only had a small amount of distance and landed in the water. Not sure if I cba to put time into it to be honest, it took long enough just to get one.

That is a downside to getting a section, we have had quite alot of auditions since we got the section. However it is sad to see people auditioning not out of inspiration or admiration of the crew but just to jump on the bandwagon. At the moment I think we are probably one of the hardest crews to get in anyway as we are pretty happy with the crew as it is now

Not at all man, about the question being personal and all. Well it was hard for me to fit in the first time, I mean I had Russian friends from my district but at that time I used to go to Indian school here(there's one here just so if you wondered). That time I was looking forward to a boarding school in India so I left Indian school but I changed my mind quickly because I couldn't leave this place and forget my friends and all. My parents wanted me to go to Indian school again but sadly the class was full so I had no other choice but to join a Russian school. First september, everybody was like "oooooooooooooooooo look at that dood, omfg blah blah blah". It was funny as hell also lol, our main class teacher was talking about some stuff and the guy next to me sitting in my desk accidentally touched my leg with his hand and he was like "psst, sorry" and that kept happening till the end of the class lol, like he was afraid of this chocolate boy or something. At first I was like shy and all and others were kinda making fun of me and all, mostly because at that time made many vocabulary mistakes. Took me 1 year to fit in, I mastered Russian language(not fully of course, just enough to talk normally) and the whole school liked me. I even got a nickname they made, Balujan. Balu - my name, Jan - respected or calling a name in a loving manner, like Balu deary or something, of course in a non-gay way.

In my street it's clean but like I said right before my building there's a pizza parlour and a skinhead dude works there lol so no pizza for me. Other than that I've been beaten up in the beginning of this year at night by 3 people, don't know why they just beat me up but most probably you'd know the reason but it's rare that they beat "us" up without any reason, thankfully nothing serious was done to me. About 4-5 years ago when I was a kid, anywhere I went most of the people, they used to stare at me like I was some sort of weirdo, which hurt me lol. Now things like those don't happen anymore, at least not by many people. This all may have been just an imagination but don't know lol...
No one's ever been a racist to me(apart from that beaten up part maybe) but some time ago my dad's good friend got beaten up by "street hooligans" and now he's living with permanent head injuries or something, kinda sad actually. I really don't think politically it's growing now, it's kinda quite now. But maybe they're growing an army lol.

Well now Dad said he doesn't give a damn about his files so he's ok with formatting, on the other hand now I have to find a way to save my replays. I did burn it to CD but that was a while ago and I landed a lot of stunts after that. I can't upload em, burn them to CD(weird, the stuff in the CD shows up but it says nothing inside the CD drive when I try to burn) or do anything. Hurray, this is the 3rd time I mess up the PC this year.
The problem is that when I messed up the PC before, I didn't have anything very important so format was easy but now, I have lots and lots of stuff. Not only replays but important photoshop .PSDs, songs I made and stuff.

Ugh, Tacojoe´s stunt just in the beggining of it.

The effect where he hits the bump had 2 layers. On the top layer was the same clip but set to 50 % opacity and I used pan and crop to move it around and create that 'shake' effect. Then I just faded the top layer out.
I can't remember how I did the effect where he is radding, but that looks pretty shit anyway.

Yea it sure does feel like that, being inactive at stunting in SA/VC/SAiVC/LC and in photoshop, I developed TONS of new new ideas for everything, once I get my PC back I'm not gonna leave it till I bring those ideas to life lol, I should have infected my PC with viruses long time ago. IRL going good, I think. I'm writing a letter to a girl I liek like like like, gonna see how she reacts. I have to go through her boyfriend though, well we'll see what happens.

Unfortunately you have placed yourself in the position where I don't believe a word you say. For a start your grammar is horrible for a (>30) year old
Furthermore you say we should study hard so we don't end up like you yet you are financially prepared to move to another country.
I don't know if this is supposed to make you feel smarter than us or something because we didn't figure this out but its not very hard to completely fabricate an 'identity' on the internet, especially if you hide your ip address (something that you didn't do, thus showing all 5 or so accounts you have here.)

I think everyone has to have those nights in the park or camping in some random field with a load of people just to get pissed off of a few bottles of vodka or something when you are around 13-15.
I started trying to get into clubs and shit when I was 15, it just wasn't worth it. Although I going to a club on Saturday, but I know I'd get asked for ID if I try to buy anything so I'll just get my mates to go for me and stay away from the staff. Making it past the bouncers outside will be the hard part though.
Oh well there's more than 1 place in my small town, so hopefully I will get in somewhere

You have a chance to do better editing than SA because VC has cinema view even you can use Freeplay and more realistic replay system.
If you don't have much editing skills, listen the music more and more. That will help you get some inspiration everytime you listen it.

Well there was this certian other crew which interested me but later found out that I wouldn't fit in there. I bet I'll never be able to get the same feeling I get from GLS in any crew. I simply do not have enough RAM to watch what I'm editing so I have to render a preview everytime I make a change, which takes forever and is pissing me off so much about editing it.

I simply do not have enough RAM to watch what I'm editing so I have to render a preview everytime I make a change, which takes forever and is pissing me off so much about editing it.
I edited on my dad's PC which hasn't much RAM too. "RAM-Preview" was very useful. At least its faster than rendering a whole clip. Just mark up like 10 seconds of the video scene you want to see and press Shift + B on your keyboard, Vegas will create a fast smooth preview without throwing out any file.

Well it must be, it was my friend's little brother's birthday party. Do you guys prefer old crew videos like AOA, or new like Megaton ?

I actually preferred Onslaught to Megaton.
Sure its nice to be all nostalgic and look back at the old days, but the best stunts are being done right now.
Editing wise the atmosphere of AOA was a lot better than Megaton, but thats a given considering AOA was a pretty significant video in stunting history.
Update on best of godless limit:
My monitor died on friday so no more progress until I can afford a new one (I am on a laptop atm).
All recording for the intro is FINALLY done.
Half way through recording the stunts I have decided to re-record them as I am not happy with most.

I cannot remember tbh. The quality isn't that good (look at the sky where I tried to make an artifical vingette effect, its littered with compression artifacts.)
I do remember I was playing around with web optimisation settings around the time I was editing the video. Also I remember I had to borrow a friend's laptop to render the video because my pc wasn't powerful enough to render more than a third of it :lol:

Back then GLS was one of my favourite crews and I still wish those awesome actions by you would continue. A true shame that some of you became inactive/turned out as weirdo modders. Wergild is honestly still one of my favourite videos when it comes to (editing on) GTAS. That one perhaps started a D&B wave which annoys me already on some videos, but that one so worked out! Good job again. But also Never Wanted To Dance was a brilliant video. Shame that those both are blocked/muted for germany. I think those were your best ones. STA for example wasn't bad though ofc.
However, even after your last video, I'll keep you GLS guys as a good and positive inspiration in mind. Some of your videos had an awesome feeling and just made me wanna continue to blow that lol. Even when you'll fall apart, I gonna keep good memories with those three G L S letters. :a-cheer:

STA is probably my least favourite out of all the videos we made, including the noob days :lol:
The intro was fun though.
I think (and this is without trying to sound big headed) that Wergild was one of the most important SA videos of 2008, and probably the most significant GLS video. But my favourite is black sunshine, because I didn't edit it, and because those were the days I enjoyed the most in stunting.

1) Go to "My Videos".
2) Select "Resolve Copyright" on the video you are having copyright issues with. OR, go to the video itself and choose "resolve copyright" from there.
