Author Topic: Frapsing in VC problem - FPS drop. (Read 1535 times)

Any idea why this happens: I've used 1680x1050x32 in all the games for ages, and never had any problems when frapsing (GTA games I mean) When I fraps random stuff those are the settings I use + half size and 30 fps on fraps. Up until a few days ago, everything has been fine, but then, when recording a stunt in VC with those settings, the fps just dropped to 10...I have no idea why. Everything is fine in SAiVC (it would be fine in SA too I bet, but I don't have it) with the same settings, just VC is weird. So I put VC's settings to 1680x1050x16, and it was fine...But I wanna use 32 like I've always used.

I've reinstalled VC, I've reinstalled fraps, nothing. My PC is definitely good enaugh Cause everything used to be fine...

8800GTS 512mb, 3gb ram, c2d 2.2, xp sp3.

Sorry mate I cant help you btu I have it too when I play at 16 and I dotn ahve lagg when i play at 32...

Same happened to me, but I just restarted my comp and it fixed it

in VC, 16 or 32 doesn't make much of a difference, I dont think.
