Some really creative stuff. I really like your style. Your approach to GTAV reminds me of the approach I took with Vice City way back when.

Keep it up! I always look forward to your new videos!

I know that feeling all too well. I have a few stunts that I've landed on and drove off as well.
Helps to try other things and come back to it :)

The math is important because it saves you time figuring out which bike to use when you already know the answer.

The Faggio is always the answer.

I usually try to have constructive criticism when I watch a video but this time I don't really have anything to say.

Amazing edit, wide variety of stunts, wide variety of vehicles, many solid landings, big airs, technical.
Whole package. You guys make a really solid crew. Keep it up.

Looks like I may have found an editor :)

V Chat & Support / Editor Needed
« on: August 01, 2015, 05:38:23 AM »
I need a video editor for my upcoming solo.

I have most of my stunts done, I have an idea of what I want. I need someone whose edits are simple and clean. I don't like tons of filters and flashiness. I like subtle hints of editing that follows the music. Ideally, if you could link me to a video you've edited, I could let you know what strengths in your editing I would like in my video.

I have an idea for the intro but I don't have all the clips for it yet. My stunts are all .clip files, ready for recording and editing. I've chosen music already. I will also ask for absolute discretion from your part, I don't want my stunts to be shown around.

Feel free to PM me, post in this thread or add me on skype (madmax12ca).
Questions are also welcome :)

Is there a way to make the camera follow mouse movements in the Rockstar editor? Similar to how replays worked in Vice City?

Originally from Quebec, Canada.
I speak French and English.

If you have a little trouble with some words, there are a handful of French speakers here. That being said, your English is good enough to understand.

Very stylish.

I liked the back wheel hops, especially those going up stairs.

Where are you from? What is your primary language? :)

I'd just like to add to the conversation that the front wheel on bikes act like they're "spinning". When they meet a wall or bump, the front wheel creates an upwards trust. That's how those verticle wallrides that seem to drag/pull the bike up work.

This also affects bumps. I've had a few instances while stunting where the front wheel hits the bump first, pulls the bike onto the bump at a faster speed than I was originally going and then the bike bumps using the undercarriage.

V Videos / Re: GTA V STUNT MONTAGE: VANQUISH (CrypticStunting)
« on: July 21, 2015, 02:49:09 AM »
Very solid video. I liked the wide variety of stunts. You had bikes, planes, boats, BMX. Bumps, wallrides, grinds, skydiving, big airs .etc This is what I feel a proper crew video should be. Different members contributing different types of stunts and each with their own style. This makes every stunt exciting and makes you excited to see what's next.

The music choice was solid, the editing was good too. I didn't see too many effects or filters which is nice. I find those distract from the stunts themselves.

Only nitpicks would be the dark night stunts and the introduction to Part 2. I felt introducing the second part broke the flow of the video and was a little unnecessary. There are no need for the theatrics when you've got solid content, let the stunts speak for themselves.

V Tutorials / Re: Sliding on PC with keyboard

Holy shit, I can't even get into a slide with a controller. It's so imprecise having the lean and turn on the same input. I'm gonna have to learn on a keyboard.

Kudos to controller stunters, stunting with such a big handicap. :P

I agree with the controller being harder to stunt with. I like having the lean and directional input being separate.

That being said, it looks like quite a task to slide.

I guess I'll give it a try with my controller then. I'm a lot more comfortable stunting with the keyboard (I reset the keys back to the same setup I had in VC) but if it's much easier with a controller, it might be worth using for slides.

Thanks for the quick answer

So I've been trying my hand at these slides people are doing. So far I've been able to start the slide but maintain it.

1. Bump
2. Lean back until bike is vertical
3. Turn sideways
4. Land on rear-side and slide
5. ????

Do I have to tap the wheelie button and tap the turn button? I've tried a few combinations and I just seem to always fall off.
