Has anyone noticed this frustrating game bug
« on: October 01, 2016, 01:50:51 PM »
The most annoying unpredictable shit. You take a huge ass RAD run up, everything seems fine 90 % of the time, you reach whatever it is you're reaching just the way you want and expect to. Then maybe your game crashes or you simply quit the game (not sure) and the next time you're in-game, the same RAD run up is almost impossible to execute! You need a miracle to reach the end of it without the nrg constantly hoping slightly or majorly like bumping off the back tire with no obstacle hit whatsoever. Reloading the game anew doesn't seem to help and it seems completely random as to when the game returns to normal.

This has always been a huge issue for me, and it's getting the best of me tonight.

That's nothing new by any means Biel, seemingly you just had no clue about RADing properly lol. When stuck at 260'ish km/h, just lower/raise the bike a tad (just like you were avoding a regular road bump) and your acceleration will be fine again. You don't need to shift down a gear and no, it doesn't always happen on big runups. In fact it seems to be randomly occuring, regardless of where you're at. Anyways, that's not really what MMM talks about.

On-topic:

I know that feel bro, but I don't think it's any sort of bug. I happen to experience both possibilities during one spot session. Unbroken finisher might be a good example, sometimes I can reach the railing with no road bumps at all and sometimes it feels like every single one kicks me off.

Personally I think it's just certain variables that determine whether you pass a road bump or not: FPS, steering/angle, height of the RAD, bike speed & the collision models obviously. My assumption is the placebo effect being present whenever those variables decide to be bitches a few times in a row. Having an unknown bug toggle for road bumps being more bumpy seems a bit absurd to be honest. But who knows, I might be wrong too.

Off-topic:

What I hate even more is when you try a new spot, get close within a few tries and then never again. Shit's mental at times :<

Doubt that I'm imagining things honestly. Reaching my destination almost everytime with full speed in the first session and almost never getting the same result in the next session 2 minutes after game crash doesn't strike me as coincidence.

Fuck it, that spot was hard as nails anyway

The worst is when you bail your spot on the first try and can't even comes close to the other attempts :ajaja:

This is the worst
