Title: MxZ - SENSITIVE
Post by: value on November 12, 2011, 10:54:13 AM
MxZ - SENSITIVE

Hey, I wanna present you MxZ' solo "SENSITIVE" in SA which is guested by Hugo and edited by me.
Nothing more to say tbh,
just that the video wasn't planned to be an audition to Beyond Tomorrow, since MxZ said I should try to get in. ;)
Even if I am not satisfied with one part in the video (editing wise):

Enjoy.

Stunts were pretty cool, editing wasn't my type but it was still enjoyable but some parts more then others.

Now I just seen the best stuff from you Lucas  it was really awesome, loved those grinds :a-cheer:
editing wasn't bad too, stunts were shown too much times but w/e :P
Great job dawg ignore cooper's comment : )

Thats pretty dumb if you ask me that a "crew editor" is not a stunting member.

Anyway I really digged that grind 2 spin wheelie 2 grind and some more stuff. I didn't like the song but the edit made it more likeable I guess.

The next Beat of BT
Except that he doesn't overedit which is nice, but other than that, I don't see a single difference between his & Beat's editing  :euro:
Coolio stunts Mxz, love the creative shit you pulled off, the finisher was pure sex
Nice vid guys  :cc_detective:

Although I didn't really like the edit, the angles were average, the CC & the song made a dull atmosphere & totally unengaging pace. Just seemed boring, the stunts weren't complemented at all, it was all just a straight line with no high points, it was pretty for all I can say, but that's it, pretty colors, pretty effects, there were no thought behind them, either that or the whole thing was executed very poorly. Well, keep practicing & I'm sure you're gonna make a great editor in no time & sorry if I'm coming off too strong, I don't mean to crush your self-esteem, I can assure you  :ninja:

I am pleased that you enjoy the video,

but you are totally right, the cam-angles aren't nice,
I would like to move them, but it just doesnt look smooth because I record @10fps and even if I put the sensitivity of my mouse on the lowest (ingame and normal sens.) it just looks .... :S
Title: Re: MxZ - SENSITIVE
Post by: Determined on November 12, 2011, 11:38:03 AM
Well then it's time to invest in a better mouse. I had the same thing with my 2$ mouse, which I hated, 'cause I couldn't move an inch without breaking the pace of the clip, so I just didn't move at all, but got tired of it fairly quickly. That's when I decided to save up a little & to my convenience, the mouse that I had planned to buy, Logitech mx518, was off 50%, so I got that bad boy for measly 20$.

tl;dr Buy new mouse.

... sheesh now that I look at what I wrote, I have no idea why I'd make such an elaborate story about buying a new mouse, sheesh, I must really have nothing better to do...

Nice video guys.

I liked both, Stunting and editing.

Mxz: I love your execution mostly on grinds which looks damn sexy and smooth. Your ideas were nice and i loved the finisher mostly. Gj mate ;)

ProLine: Nice editing dude. I like your editing and some transitation. The only dislike thing was the gamespeed.. which was imo slow for me. Gj^^

Overall: Cool video and i like too see more from you guys.

PS: Who give you the bt intro  I mean.. is that allowed to use it in a audition ? Anyway good luck.

Lucas your style became very good ever since you stopped modding, I can say nothing but keep it up!  :a-cheer:

And it was a good editing, thanks for auditioning.
Your audition is now up for consideration - BT guys, you know where you need to go - and you'll be informed about the results as soon as possible.

It was a very enjoyable piece of work, if you try fixing the speed of your clips and making more dynamic angles that'd be fair enough to push your editing skills up a notch. But if you work more and more on your sync, better executions on some of those incredible ideas you have and overall more practice. That'd be fair enough to make your editing legendary.

I don't like giving numbers so I'd rather say that this was such a potential fruit.

The next Beat of BT
Except that he doesn't overedit which is nice

Hey mate, I do not overedit and judging by the fact that anything more than two cuts is overediting for you then I actually don't give a blooming shit  Oh and if you think its really the next "Beat" of BT then you're drastically wrong because there won't be another "Beat" in BT because originality is a main factor of getting in. Though I don't give a damn about that either, just those boggled comments bring me the itch.

I don't see a single difference between his & Beat's editing  :euro:

Unless you have a solid explanation of why theres no difference which I doubt you do. I'm inclined to say you are wrong, it sure does look like some of my videos but its honestly nothing like it.

You're right with the gamespeed and angles (I have fixed them already I guess):
would like to hear your opinion about it:

angle + speed (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOPUFWYF6G0#ws)

The next Beat of BT

I really like Beats editing style but I dont want to "copy" it / or edit like him, thanks for the compliment anyways :)

sick stunts sick edit           (but not beat! as someone sayed!)

edit was really good only thing there was that the stunts looked slow as hell...
was kinda annoying. gives a feeling that the stunts are modded, but i dont think that those are.

but over all

stunts 8.5/10
edit 8.9/10

GOOD VID! have to say

Editing is okay but some cam angles looked for me too random.
Btw. there is a biig difference between proline's editing and Beat's. I couldn't let that stay. :neen:

Not all would like to download video. At some for example small speed of the Internet. Personally I tried to download, but "Such file doesn't exist, access to it is limited or it was remote because of violation of copyright".

You can upload the video for example on dailymotion.com or somewhere else.
