If you mean the one on the left, you're wrong. :p It's a bar cash register since it's not only a reception - there's a bar right behind where I've taken a photo from.

I just asked because I seemed somehow interested and it seems to offer a fine job.

Can't agree about the "fine job" part. Everything seems fine from the outside, but there are pretty irritating people and annoying things like our hotel software crashes,  disorganized workers, etc.
