Title: [SA] Edit .txd files

Edit .txd files - By Marklund

You'll need:1. Open up iRipper

2. Select your GTA3.img (Placed in 'GTA San Andreas/Models')

3. Choose the TXD you want to use, I've chosen pyramid.txd .

4. Right Click on it and press extract. Put it somewhere you want to.

4. Open up TXD workshop.

5. Open up your txd.

6. Choose an image you want to edit, and export it to .tga .

7. Open up Photoshop or any else editing program and start editing the tga.

8. Save it over the .tga you used, and be sure to have 32bits/pixel.

9. Now go back to TXD workshop, and press the import button. Choose the .tga you edited.

10. Now go to iRipper again, rightclick the .txd you edited and choose the new one.

11. Be sure to save the .img file, Ctrl+S or 'File/Save'.

12. Open up SA, voila, the texture is new.

yay, thanx, though i edit my txd's a bit simpler, the ripper mod will help me, ty again

I tried editeding the punching bag, but it turned out all grey. I tried editing the black hoodie, but it came out clear so all I could see was his body. What is wrong? Sorry to bump such an old thread =/


EDIT: I think it has something to do with the images alpha. It's all black so the mixed image comes out blank. How do I fix this?

As for the other question: If you want the bike skin he uses -> Its the default one, and yes you can change bike textures using this if you meant it that way...

Just use IMG tool.

And your sig doesn't make me scroll up and down unless you're on like 640x480.
