Challenge: Perform the best stunt in a taxi/cabbie/zebra near the airport in VC.
Please post your reps and optional vids in this thread before the deadline.

Define near the airport (if you could show us on a map that'd be great) and can it be inside the airport as well?

Behind the fence that runs along that road by Sunshine autos to behind the Hooker Inn. You'll see I think.

I've been looking through this area for about an hour now... ok you're giving us an area where we're supposed to be creative but seriously.
This is the worst part of Vice City there is for taxi stunts, there is some good spots but they're old.
I know you're trying to push us to be creative but ffs... there's not a single good taxi spot there to find, all the stunts that can be done there are mediocre.
It'd be a whole lot better if we had to include a taxi in the stunt but not necessarily be driving it.
Cause the highest possible landing there except for that radar tower is like 80ft high and mostly all of the taxi grinds has been done.
I guess it's too late to ask but i'm still asking since none of us has started stunting for this yet... can you either expand the area to the whole island or something that suits taxi stunts better or change it so a taxi or a secondary vehicle has to be used?

Sure taxi stunts can be massive wallrides and grinds, but they don't have to be.

Nice challenge. Good luck Daffy! I found a few ideas in the airport area but they are "distance" level stunts and there arent so many high roof as Daffy said so gonna have a look at to the haiti area.

Watching your stunt Daffy. If it isnt in the airport area I'll be disappointed cause you had to ask for more area to do a stunt when in fact the WR taxi climb was done at the airport...in the boundary...by GriMm. So the spot cant be that bad.

I nailed my stunt once and I recorded it but while I recorded my hand was shaking because I was happy so I pressed the f2 again before I saved it. So Thats my fault I have the video files but I gonna nail it again. I'll write a little description for my stunt. And gonna show the video too when I couldnt save the rep. I hope I can beat it again. Fingers crossed.

I've been trying that stunt for quite some time now, it's so fucking annoying - You just go over, you just don't make it etc etc. Bloody well done, Daffy, this is one marvelous stunt

Nice Aries you were right after I pressed f2 after watched the stunt and its disappeared I didnt give up and after 2-3 hours hard stunt I could land it again a way better as how I wanted. My cat actuated me so big thanks for it. Gonna rec it tomorrow and up it. Gonna sleep now.

Wrong. I guess GriMm's is harder, because he used a Zebra and that one is pretty hard to get right on the wall. In my opinion GriMm's stunt is better, plus for hitting that crane part and spinning, made it harder. Good luck to you both.

I liked .28's better. By the way, that spot is obvious as hell and daf already mentioned it in topic anyways...

WOW, both are amazing stunts. If I had to pick between both of them I would have to pick 28's. Daffy your stunt is great and all but 28's had a extra push to it, instead of going straight to the landing area he used a tricky angle to get to it. Nice job both of you and I hope the judges can do their best when voting.

My biggest problem when i landed my stunt was getting the distance, with the Zebra that's not a problem cause you can do a wiggle, boost and then you're 90 degrees to the side ready to boost before you even hit the ground again and have to drive next to the wall and lose a lot of speed.
Looks like your turbo button came handy there to, it was a nightmare to reach the crane with enough distance and speed.
Good luck GriMm, i was hoping we'd land different stunts though.

No I found a faster way to boost instead of using gamepad... I gonna tell you after the match or even on msn or on private forum. Anyway thanks for all. The first when I landed it and when the rep disappeared I used gamepad and that is why my zebra's first wheels didnt touch the roof because I couldnt handle my gamepad and couldnt stop. So I decided to search another way for hard-core boosting in keyboard because I usually cant land taxi stunts with gamepad and usually fall down with it.

Some kinda macro-autoclick software?
That makes in my opinion my stunt way harder to pull of cause i didn't use external applications to do it.
Simple finger-power and a keyboard ftw.

Lol Daffy. I know what he is talking about and it's not any programs and that stuff, actually it did sound a bit weird when he told me because I don't think it's a big difference, though I have an even better boost tactic.

I liked Daffy's stunt more. IMO it is done cleaner and the landing area is smaller then Grimms one. And the fact, that the taxi can't really good turn into a 90° with one jump, is true. Go Daffy

Thatf a fact that Daffy's roof is thinner but Its longer. My roof is a litte wider but After the grey box there is nothing. So my roof is not as long as Daffy's one and I often slipped down.

But in the end, with a cabbie it's everytime easier, with every single speed from 1 mp/h to 200 mp/h. That means also, that it's harder with the taxi

But Cabbie land is harder because of flipping in the roof and slipping all the time...

after seeing both, I felt like...it was dissapointing to see almost the same exact stunt being done for both contestants...I'm not trying to get anyone disqualified but isn't this competition supposed to be...more creative than that? Don't get me wrong, great minds think alike but still after someone posts theirs... ....
Anyways out of the two Daffy's definately looks harder, nothing to hit and stop him but his landing point, and a pretty small place to land on, Good luck guys
(people keep saying how much better cabbies or taxis, or the zebra cab is, it's a preference not a fact, I can't boost with a taxi only zebra so meh I got my word in)

Daffy - High and small, the area u landed wasnt landed before, good that u are brave and creative. Landing a precision with taxi is a bit easier than with PCJ. Ure landing looked rly damn awsome. U didnt gave up when u flied over the crane like 100x times, lol. Awsome...
Grimmmmmmm - Was a bit easier than Daffys. Still nicely done, nicely landed, great stuff.
Awsome match guys, mind blowing, jaw dropping, dick self-wanking stunts... should be rly hard to decide...

Daffy: Ive tried that myself, annoying little thing, really annoying. Awesome stunt, you keep this up and you'll go far.
Grimm: Another awesome stunt, cabbie stunts are for me harder than normal taxi stunts, I just can't get the wiggle right. Can't really say much more than awesome.
My Vote Goes To: Daffy, as it propably was and looked like the harder stunt. Nice going guys!

This is a really tough match to call. Both stunts were outstanding and i'm glad Daffy talked me out of just doing the airport. It seems that both stunts were so similar that I will just write one discussion:
While both stunt were similar in height and distance, the biggest difference is in the landing. Both were extremely difficult stunts to land and required excellent precision, but in my view, Daffy's was a bit harder since he really couldn't see his target. GriMm had a physical target to aim for and with a nice bounce, did so, but Daffy landed on a small invisible rail with nothing to keep him from falling off or righting his taxi if he was off target. My vote goes to Daffy, but you both really impressed me.

Daffy: An extremely tough looking stunt. The fact that you were in what is easilly the hardest of the three taxi's for 'wiggling' with and yet you were able to pull off a nice wiggle anyway was impressive. The location itself certainly doesnt offer up anything to help either (such as a ramp/steps to lead up onto, or a curved building), and the building itself wasnt very long or tall. And yet with all that you were able to pull off a very nice looking, high, taxi boost and were able to land on a bloody tough (and good looking) spot. Well done man.
Grimm: Also a tough looking stunt. Also a relatively short runnup. Sure it might have been a little easier with that vehicle, but it was also probably a bit harder too in that the building curved the wrong direction. Also good height and distance off the boost. Sure it might have been a slightly easier landing area but it was also a cooler looking landing.
My Vote: Normally I would expect two very similar stunts to be easy to judge, but this certainly isnt the case here (and the long reps didnt make it any easier ). Its hard to decide which one was overall better than the other. But I am a judge, and I have to vote, so I guess its time to vote... I am going to give my vote to Daffy, but only just. Thinking about it on a whole, to me it does seem to be the more impressive stunt (the movement through the air and the tiny-ass landing helped). But I am still quite fond of Grimm's, that bump at the end really did look cool. Two great precision taxi stunts in a limited time frame, great work guys, shame about the same location but I guess I understand, given the challenge. Good luck in your future matches.

Daffy:
awesome stunt and smooth landing. nothing more to add.
GriMm:
your stunt was even harder cause you used Zebra. however you landing wasn't so smooth and the landing zone was a bit wider.
although GriMm asked to judge the stunts as 2 different stunts he used Zebra to make the stunt harder because he saw Daffy's entry. so i can either look at GriMm's stunt as the one that is almost exact as Daffy's but performed after his(in this case i obviously have to vote for Daffy) or as a different independent stunt but in this case i can't give him any bonus points for doing in in Zebra. so i have to make my vote depending on the landing which was obviously better in Daffy's stunt. that means i have no choice..
