Lots of cool stuff and also great variety in this. Stunting, editing and the whole vibe of the video was great, I enjoyed it, and it's always a nice touch to gather people together for an xmas vid, I'm happy this year we got a video for this occasion, sadly it's not a thing anymore.
Also, seeing the names here and assuming the activity in this crew, I really hope there is a cv coming soon!

Belated merry christmas and happy holiday to you guys  :a-cheer:

VC Modded Stunting Videos / Re: [TAS] THE SIASIN VIDEO.
« on: December 09, 2022, 12:30:37 AM »
This was genuinely entertaining due to several reasons mentioned earlier:
- on its own it was a brilliant video and it was so satisfying to watch perfect (or beyond perfect) stunts being landed
- it was transparent as you put it there obviously that TAS is being used here
- it was such clever 'parody' of Allbeast's solo, I also have to say this one topped it for me, at least the VM thing was exploited much more IMO (not a VC expert tho, but it was just more enjoyable)
- the interludes were also great, funny and made the video even better
- same is true to the song as well, it was so fitting

Overall it was one of the best vids lately for me and I would like to see more stuff with TAS being transparent about it. Because seeing 'perfect' stunts is always good, and if you land something that's so hard it's practically impossible, then nobody loses valuable spots so at the end of the day we can just enjoy stunting on a whole new level.
I remember checking Allbeasts video where he introduced this thing and based on that I'm not sure that DOING stunts with VM is particularly enjoyable, I mean cutting stunts into several pieces. But the result is indeed oddly satisfying so as a viewer I want more  :D

Great video guys, you all managed to land some decent stunts.
Once again a great editing by FTO, and he even contributed with a stunt  :a-cheer:

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: Barney - Cenotaph
« on: November 23, 2022, 11:05:32 AM »
You know it's a special day when Barney drops a new solo and knowing it's 2022 this came as the biggest surprise yet.
Unbelievable stuff once again, I simply love that some of your stuff remind me to the beloved SA stunting. Technical stunts or bigairs, you own both territory dude. Your vision and dedication to this old game is just remarkable.
My favourite stunts are:
- bridge doublegrind uphill with the 180 degree spin inbetween
- back tankbump
- double grindcombo at 1:35 - also, incase camera work on this!
- both grindcombos at Cherry Poppers Factory - can't even tell which one is better, two of my all-time fav VC grindcombos for sure
- SSM to the yet unlanded roof at 2:45, just holy shit
- p2b2ledgegrind on the Airport building, flawless execution
- PSM2wallkick2grind with MAG at 4:20, I am no expert of VC stunting but this one looks hella hard
- PSM at 4:30 because of that runup
- trashmaster bump 2 antenna prec - my fav bigair in the video, it was so unexpected and yet another unlanded place. I love how the precision stands out from its enviroment, a really spectacular stunt. Oh, and that angle too..

What's also remarkable that the majority of your stunts are simply perfect, they cannot possibly be bettered. No further or higher roofs, no additional grinds could be added, you always go for perfection.

The editing was something new, good job Jason for utilising what's possible with the current set of editing tools, it was very cinematic throughout the video.

We usually never know when/if Barney comes back with another banger, so let's wait patiently and pray for it to happen again. As for now, thanks for the experience once again.

This one hits different, thank you for the experience! Lovely stunts, great thinking on those combos, this video is the ultimate proof you don't need longass runups and neverending glides to impress. These 'small' stunts were just so well-thought and neatly-executed, I seriously enjoyed them. Keep it up dude!  :P

Well, that was quick. This map looks very suitable to stunting, at least to do grinds all around it
It was yet another great video Sorcery, lots of grinds and interesting finds. My 2 fav were the ones where the grab and the ledgegrind meet in one sequence. Especially the finisher, it was so tight as you reached the very end of the ledge and slided back all the way down. Exemplarily amazing use of terrain.
Looking forward to the collab as well!  :a-cheer:

SA Un-Modded Video Releases / Re: [SA] - TEARS KompoT's SOLO
« on: September 30, 2022, 01:30:09 AM »
Great solo dude, I waited for you to step up and finally do something in SP. Lots of great spots, I can say that I like your style in general. My fav stunts were the opener (always wanted to do some airplane grab since seeing MMM's craziness), 1:05 because it was tight (clever runup, just avoiding the bb and prec at the end of the grind), 1:20 another clever one (is there some kind of a curve on that wall to make you wallkick so high?), 1:30 (the air2bump was special, too bad the landing was almost at the same altitude as the bump) and the finisher (always love a good watergap). Guest stunts were cool as well.
This editing kinda reminded me to some of the best editings I have seen, such as Dragun's last part of Memento or When Everything Dies. I mean the buildup towards the end of the video with the song becoming more and more intense. But I can refer to some of Beat's works such as Rebellion or Dystortion, maybe these are even better examples. I just had similar feelings watching the video, also at some points I thought of Pmarci/Kacknase, so all this is close to the best remark I can give to an editing. Keep it up Legend, you are doing good! But I also have to mention that at some points I wasn't really sure what is happening, some seconds here and there felt rushed to me and I would have appreciated to see the stunts in a better way.
Nonetheless, it was a very enjoyable video, great job everyone involved!

Great video guys, it felt really amazing. I always appreciate when stunters pay respect to some legends by doing a remake video, it shows dedication. This is not an exception, good job guys!

Community Videos / Re: 2022 VC+SA Community Video Organization Thread
« on: September 03, 2022, 05:54:10 AM »
I'm up for this, add me, I will try to land something, I guess I still have plenty of time  :P

In my opinion VC + SA (in separated parts) in one video works well so go for it. I would say keep it classic and only VC/LC + SA should be involved, but I'm sure SAiVC will make its way into the video as well. In this case please watch out for the submitted stunts and if stuff is done in SA then don't accept and include similar SAiVC stunts in the video, let's just respect stunts being done in their respective original engine, especially because United is not allowed so it cannot be a problem the other way. Personally I just really don't want to see a stunt being done both in SA and SAiVC and included in the same video, that would be silly.

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: AERONAUTS - 48 hours
« on: August 18, 2022, 08:51:33 AM »
As some mentioned above, great video with a definite comvid vibe to it. It's just funny to me that a 48h timelimited video brings this feeling, but I'm glad it does. Stunting was good overall, Zero's stunts were spectacular and Simon did some remarkable car stuff too, but everyone did decent, really.
Editing was above expectations knowing this if your first editing guys. Honestly I liked both part, it was enjoyable and really well-made. My only concern is that the first part was too dark for me, I felt I don't see the stunts clearly enough. But it was made by Darkstar, so nomen est omen, I guess

Overall it was just good to see the amount of people in this, I'm happy to see VC stunting is still going strong these days.
