...this is not a test: The NoAPOlogies AssaultDay 2 - VirgaWell this is it, my final vid! I've had a lot of fun here at GTAS and i'm not going to leave, but for now my stunting career is over. It kinda sucks but there are a lot of things that have kept me from enjoying it anymore. I figure that once a hobby becomes a chore, its time to quit and do so gracefully, so you won't hear any "fuck this guy" "this is bullshit" "this fuckin community is shit" from me. I guess the major problem has been my PC (big surprise). I can't run SA on it and VC is starting to lag so much its unplayable. Also my real life has begun to interfere (ain't that a bitch?). The vid is an all taxi vid. I figure that's my strongest part in stunting so it made sense. I think you'll like it, I used WMM again and the song may not appeal to most of you, but I think it works really well nevertheless. ...this is not a test: The NoAPOlogies AssaultDay 1 - UpdraftWell its been a long time coming but I finally got around to finishing my project. I am a little disappointed that I couldn't get a third vid into it, but still I think you will all like the two i've released. This first vid is a "Best of" vid with stunts from every vid i've been in (almost every). I more or less chose the best stunts from each vid while trying to keep a decent balance as well. I'm very happy with the way the vid came out, especially with the intro. Its nothing fancy, I didn't do any .scm editting or scripting or anything like that, just some Camhack work. I still used WMM2 to edit the vid so don't bitch about that. "What a long, strange trip its been" - Every goddamned high school graduation motto Its been a hell of a ride these past... oh God... 6 months . We've had our ups and our downs but I think in the end we all had fun (except Torque j/k). Even without a real "final" I couldn't have been happier about the way the league went. We moved along at a good, brisk pace but gave everyone enough time to put together some memorable stunts. To be honest, there were times when I was concerned I had gotten in over my head. My first concern was how the hell am I going to manage 48 (later 50) people in this league and keep order? Other concerns followed dealing with match postponements, forum downtime, me going on vacation. But in the end everything worked out for the best. So I guess this is the time for me to step aside and see if anyone else wants to take the reigns of the 4th Reincarnation of the GTASL. My advice to that lucky individual is: 1) Don't let anyone push you around 2) Don't be afraid to delegate responsibility 3) Trust your feelings 4) Don't be afraid to admit your mistakes 5) Don't let anyone push you around 6) Be firm in your decisions 7) Treat everyone with respect  Don't be afraid to ask for help 9) Don't let anyone push you around I would love to help out on the next league but the title of "Overseer" stays with me Once again, thanks to everyone who participated, judged or simply watched and I hope the next one is even better! I guess we can open this topic up to any final thoughts from you guys. Keep it civil and clean, any flaming and i'll start deleting posts and let the admins/mods deal with you further.

First of all, a hardy congratualtions all around for the finalists and for everyone who participated in the GTASL3. It is/was a bigger success than I could have ever hoped for and I owe so many people my heartfelt thanks and appreciation.
The judges (Dannye, Ostits, WEREWOLF, Eddeman, Sweet, Boo): Thank you for doing your thing. As you've seen, it is not easy to be a judge but every one of you did your job with the utmost professionalism, dignity and class.
Torque: For his advice in running the league and for running the last league as well. It was his footsteps that I followed and it is because of him that things ran as smoothly as they could.
Aries/Xtramus: For keeping the forums together during some of our toughest times, and at the same time, making a great run in the league.
Dannye: For being my right-hand man from start to finish. The brackets, the challenges, the suggestions, for everything. I could not have done it without you, thank you man.
Ok, back to business:
Challenge 1: Perform the best bump involving a packer (NOT a p2b) on the first island of VC (the one you start on in the game).
Challenge 2: Perform the best taxi stunt NOT involving a wallclimb on Portland Island
Challenge 3: Perform the best 3 part combo. There must be 3 parts to the combo, choose from the following stunts: BSM/ISM/PSM, p2b, bump (bonk), grind, stoppie, wheelie, wallride, wallclimb, air/ground grabs. Acceptable combos include but are not limited to p2b2stoppie2grind, ISM2grind2airgrab, etc... This can be done in either VC or LC.

Challenge 1: Perform the best combo grind in either the VC docks or downtown VC. The grind must take place within one of those areas but the run-up can be outside the area.
Challenge 2: Perform the best packerbump in Portland Island in LC. Once again, the run up can be outside the island but the bump and landing must be within the confines of Portland Island.
Challenge 3: Perform the best natural terrain stunt with a car on the third island of VC (the one with the airport/docks, etc...).
Please post your reps and optional vids in this topic before the deadline, you have 7 days. Remember, you must perform all three challenges.

Challenge 2: Perform the stunt involving a wall ride on the first island in VC. Combos are encouraged.
Challenge 3: Perform the best stunt using a "stuck method" (BSM, PSM, ISM, etc...) in Shoreside Vale in LC.

First of all, thanks to USS for giving me the idea to do this.
I would like to open this topic so others may ask questions of the members of WH. You may ask general questions about the whole crew or ask a particular member and we'll try to provide you with a response as soon as possible. First though, a few rules:
- No stupid questions, they don't have to be stunting related but if it isn't something you would ask someone seriously in real life, don't ask it here
- No asking about future crew vids. You may ask about future solo vids but not crew vids. This is just so we don't have 500 "omg when iz teh new vid plz?" questions.
- Please do not ask if you can join, when we open the crew to auditions we'll let you know.
That's about it, so ask away!

Folks,
Well, the end to the GTASL3 is coming. I am very happy with how everything is progressing and how relatively smoothly everything has gone thus far. Right now we're kind of all over the place with scheduling and i'd like to take this opportunity to kind of set the schedule straight from here on out.
The winners bracket is set until the Final 4our (see how I put the number 4 in there... makes it look cool right?). The three winners remaining in the winners bracket (Demonfade, Daffy/BH and Tack/Sabotage winners) will have some time before their next match).
There is a bit of a log jam in the loser's bracket as some matches are in the 3rd round while others are in the 4th. Between this week (Apr. 16-20th) and next week (Apr. 23-27th) we should narrow down the field to the 3-way loser's bracket final on May 1st.
Once we've got the Final 4our set, i'd like to make a suggestion. All Final 4our matches will be best 2 out of 3. At that point there wouldn't be any loser's bracket so someone could lose 1 match and be eliminated from a double elimination tournament, which doesn't make sense. I'd like to get your opinion though as to whether or not a 2 out of 3 final four would be a good idea. It would extend the league a bit more but it would also create some excitement as well. What do you guys think? Judges i'd like to hear from you as well.
