Spoosh trouble

Well Vice City and all that works but if I try open it with spoosh it just exits like 3 seconds into the rockstar logo at the start of the game.

Anybody else experienced a similar problem? I sort of rushed the installation and fixing the game so it is stunt ready but I can tell you that I am using v1.0 of Vice city and a no-cd crack to run it, also using dannye's main.scm.

I dunno, I don't use spoosh at all, but try to delete d3d8.dll, all my crash problems usually are releated to it. Do a back-up of it first ofc.

BK, thats because xfire also creates a d3d9.dll file, like spoosh, the 2 conflict

ZeroX, make sure you havent got any other visual/hud mods etc like speedometer mod, anything tha creates a d3d9.dll file

i thought it was d3d9.dll, coz its directx 9, so d3d9 = direct 3d 9, not d3d8

Yep, xfire was the problem. Closed it and Vice City loaded up with spoosh fine.

Thanks guys.
