Hey guys... now im going to show you how to do a spark effect on a text...

-First open a new project, any size BUT MUST FIT THE TEXT SIZE

-Now change the background color to black.

-Type ur text in white, with any font.

-Now... This part is very important, go to filter, stylize, wind and choose wind option 100% right

-Now Ctrl+F to Double it

-Do the same to the left side.

-Now go to image, Rotate image, and put 90° to any side.

-Press Ctrl+F two times to do the same as u did.

- go to filter, Stylize, Wind, now do it to the otherside.

IT ILL LOOK SOMETHING LIKE THIS:

-Now go to filter, Distort, and select waves (i don't know if its the same name because my photosop is in portuguese soo ill post a menu pic)

THIS IS THE FILTER MENU

THIS IS THE EFFECT MENU

-Now do it 100%, medium size, it will look something like this:
(the text will distort too, dont worry with that)

Now its allmost finished.

-Press ctrl+E to Merge with the background.

-Press ctrl+U to open the colorize menu, check the colorize box

Here i Did with a strong blue, u can use light blues, or what ever u want... (blue's pwn the other colors on this effect xD)

It will be something like this:

Now create a new text layer, type the same text u did at the beggining with the same font, BUT THIS TIME BLACK

-Place the new text right above the other one...

And ull have something like this:

All the tutorial credits goes for me...
I don't know the first person that made this effect first time...

This is an old method. BTW, you don't need to type it one more time in black color. Just Ctrl+click on text layer (it will select you text) and press Delete.
