VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: Barney - Cenotaph

0:30 - Dam double grind: Kickass way to start the video, smooth transition between the grinds, also that spin at the end adds extra style points

0:40 - Wallbonk to court house: This one is old but I imagine you haven't watched every video released while you were gone so that's okay, still a nice stunt

0:47 - Curb bump to ledge grind: Nice idea, loving that speed

0:58 - Drop wallride to grind: That's totally my cup of tea, anything that includes a wallride and a grind is an instant win in my book :cc_detective:

1:05 - Bridge double grind: Fantastic double grind and flawless execution, that 180 between the grinds was just *chefs kiss*

1:14 - P2B to apartment block: Nice new way to land that roof, looks huge!

1:24 - Back tankbump to apartment block: Lovely idea, that runup looks like a bitch!

1:32 - Airport wallride to grind: Awesome double grind, I know a certain someone who has something similar landed there but yeah, clean execution

1:44 - Drop to quad BB grind: I haven't tried this but I imagine it might be tough to do all 4 signs since nobody did it before :D

1:54 - Cherry double grind on BB: One of my favourite stunts from the video, fantastic idea with a smooth execution (and you even landed on that little platform instead of the ground) :ajaja:

2:05 - Drop stoppie to grind: Gotta love those long stoppie to grinds, I didn't know what to expect, great job!

2:22 - Grind to ledge to box prec: The tiny box precision was an awesome addition to the double grind, well done!

2:42 - Skimmer bump to high ledge: THAT WAS MASSIVE! :ninja: The way you find spots to nail previously unlanded roofs is next level

2:56 - PSM to Hyman stairwell: ^same thing applies here lol

3:05 - Oversized back tankbump: That was some insane height and I lowkey expected a MAG after seeing your trajectory but I know how hard this spot is by itself as I've tried it briefly in the past, good job landing it

3:14 - Skimmer bump by the water: I'm usually not a fan of skimmer bumps (or pretty much any stuck method) but the way you utilized them in this video is fantastic, sick height with an odd angle, must have been tough!

3:25 - Icecream bump to prec: I think somebody might have landed this with a PSM but maybe I'm just confusing stuff, props on landing that tiny precision nontheless!

3:34 - PSM MAG: Again, a weird setup nobody used before - and as if the landing wouldn't have been impressive enough, you throw in an extra MAG, way to go! :jajaja:

3:43 - PSM grind bonk grind: Had to rewind this when I first watched it, that second grind really made it, must have been a bitch to get the right bonk off that pole without bailing

3:53 - P2B airport ledge grind: Another favourite of mine, absolutely mindblowing dude! :o

4:05 - Skimmer bump Moist Palms: Looks huge, although I found this setup a bit more 'on the nose' compared to the others, still a great stunt obviously

4:15 - PSM MAG to grind: BANGER! :cheernutz:

4:27 - PSM hotel prec: Casually parking your PCJ on yet another previously unlanded roof, that looked insane! I imagine that runup must have been a pain in the ass to gain the required speed for that bump, well done!

4:38 - Trashmaster bump to radio prec: Outstanding idea, gotta love how you found a way to that antenna which is basically in the middle of nowhere lol

4:47 - PSM to ship antenna prec: That landing is very SA-like - except I know it's waaay harder in the VC engine, very nice idea and kudos for sticking that precision!

Music: To be honest, this kind of music isn't what I'd listen to on a daily basis - however it really fits the vibe of a Barney video, I totally enjoyed your previous solo too but even though there were amazing stunts in it I still felt like I liked Monolith more simply because of the music & editing :ajaja:

Editing: Jason, you have absolutely outdone yourself on this one. Those cinematic camera angles throughout the whole video combined with the amazing weathers & colors completely transformed my expectations of what a Vice City stunt video could look like - this is to VC what Kacknase's edit of the last AR video is to SA :ajaja: Also loved how well everything was synchronized with the music. Oh, and the thematic skin changes too! :cc_detective:

Thank you for creating such a wonderful video Barney & Jason. You guys totally pushed the limits of both stunting & editing. I suspect I'll rewatch this video many times in the future. :cc_detective: Right now I have to go and fire up VC for the first time in a few months, this instant classic gave me hell of a motivation :jajaja:

Times like this I regret not having a webcam around for recording a reaction. I'm still in shock after what I've just seen. :ninja: I'll edit this comment with a detailed response, gotta rewatch this thing right away. Will there be a review template available?

I'll definitely land some stuff for this, thanks for getting this started! :cc_detective: Personally, I think a 2 part VC/LC/SAiVC + SA format would work the best for including as many active people as possible without being too chaotic - take Ubiquity for example, I think it worked well :jajaja:

VC Un-Modded Stunting Video Releases / Re: DATURA - Smut's Collab
« on: June 21, 2022, 07:07:00 AM »
I've been away from stunting for a couple of months and I gotta say it was a real joy to come back to this video. Love the amount of stunters who participated, and with some solid stuff too! Everybody did a great job, my favourites were Smut's opener, Sorcery's midair grab & 3x grind, Wvimis' stoppie to grind, Rainbow's polebump (even though the grind is old it was still a super clean execution), Krypton's SAiVC line and Morbid's grind combo.

The editing was also very pleasant, loved the pacing and the clean camera angles with some sick ones mixed in too (like the one on ARS' airport hotring stunt). It's also fun to see you try out something different from your usual style, like you mentioned in the first post.

So yes, thanks to Smut & Jason for putting together this lovely video and also every stunter who contributed - let's keep the VC scene alive for a little bit longer! :jajaja:

Next collab when? :cc_detective:

I'd like to say thanks to fckR for sparking my motivation to organize the collab and taking on the editing job (before he unfortunately had to cancel), Ezraph for stepping in and making this collab a reality (cool editing man!) and of course everybody who sent something! I think it turned out as an enjoyable and fun little collab with a rarely utilized vehicle.

Let's make some more collabs in the future! :jajaja:

Another update, it's coming together nicely! :jajaja: Also it's a friendly reminder to anybody who's trying to land something (or something more) for this, you still have almost a week to go! :cc_detective:

VC Chat & Support / Faggio / Pizzaboy collab

Hello there!

Since there are some themed videos being in the works/released lately (taxi collab, non-bike collab), I thought why shouldn't we try doing a faggio and pizzaboy centered one? Personally, I rarely stunt with these bikes (and I'm sure there are more like me) so it could be a fun little challange to try and get out of our comfort zone. :jajaja: Let's see some stoppie combos, grinds, grabs or even bigair stunts - the sky's the limit!

Fun video! There were quite a few oldies but truth be told, I'm actually happy to see videos still being released in 2021 so that's not a major issue :jajaja: My favoruites were Sorcery's spinny ledge grinds and Maci's freeway grind (was trying something similar in that area). The editing was enjoyable too, loved the camera angles and the colors were on point too; my only complaint would be the song you picked for the first part, I just couldn't feel it (that's just a matter of personal preference though, so no biggie) - on the other hand, the second part was spot on.

Good job and happy birthday Ezraph! :a-cheer:

Ace video man, really enjoyable! Stunts were great throughout, my favourites were the freeway highway grind combo, the LV double grind behind Caligula and the wallride combo after that (I love when people use the terrain like that) :jajaja: The editing was really well done too, great quality and sublime camera angles with some well placed effects, props for that. All in all, quite an enjoyable watch, keep it up! :a-cheer:

NOW THIS IS TANK STUNTING! Great fucking job Max, this is one hell of a solo! :jajaja: I love that next to the crazy bigair stunts involving a packer you also landed many natural ones, this just takes it up a notch!

Part 1
3:16 - LC Airport Ramp 2 Skimmer Bump 2 ATC Tower: Great choice for opener, that looked huge!
3:30 - VC Downtown P2B: Good job one upping RedX, looked like a tight landing!
3:50 - LC Belleville Park P2B: This one seems like a major pain in the ass to stay on with that speed, well done!
4:01 - VC Vice Point Beach P2B Recoil: Smooth recoil, extra points for the backflip, lovely stunt.
4:13 - VC Pier Bump 2 Wallride: I guess it was harder to nail with a tank, nice wallride.
4:24 - VC Stadium Double Bump: That's a cool double bump right there!
4:32 - VC Downtown P2B: I love how you landed roofs that have only been done with taxis before, this is a great example.
4:43 - LC Casino Nat Bump: One of my favourites from the video, tricky bump with a huge airtime, and it's also a natural one - who could ask for more? :a-cheer:
5:00 - VC Links Bridge Drop 2 Palm Bump: This is another fav for me, fucking love the idea of dropping down to that palm, marvelous!
5:12 - LC Casino BB Precision: I lost this one but don't even care, I know how hard it is to stay on the BB with that speed, fantastic precision!
5:29 - VC Downtown P2B: Huge P2B!
5:45 - LC Wichita Gardens Nat bump 2 Hill 2 Bridge: Lovely use of terrain, stylish stunt!
6:02 - LC Portland Tree Bump 2 Water Gap: I think fckR landed this, not sure if it was released or not, great watergap either way.
6:14 - LC Newport CSM: Has this roof been landed before with a tank, or am I just mixing things up with a tank CSM done on a PCJ? Looks quite vertical though so props for nailing it! :cc_detective:
6:30 - LC Aspatria Hill bump 2 Roof Bounce: This is a fantatic find, that massive bonk to the hill was so satisfying to watch!
6:51 - VC Moist Palms Double Nat Bump: I think many of us have given this one a go after seeing TBV's landing of the lowest part, but I personally could never stick to it because I couldn't seem to get consistent bumps - so with that in mind, this one is a proper way to end the first part with, kudos for landing it!

Part 2
7:14 - VC Ocean Beach P2B: Holy shit, parking on roofs again that never seen anything other than taxis, loved this! :o
7:42 - SAiVC Los Santos CSM: Looked big!
7:58 - SAiVC Kincaid Bridge Bump 2 Ship: Great job getting inside the ship, kicks it up a notch.
8:14 - VC Downtown P2B: Massive P2B, love how you conquered this roof (too)! :jajaja:
8:31 - SAiVC San Fierro Hospital Curb Double Bump: I suppose this was harder to land than the SA infernus version (as you cannot manually adjust the hydraulics to get a curb bump), well done.
8:47 - LC Wichita Gardens Nat Bump 2 Hill: Another one I lost but super happy to see it landed, it's a lot trickier than it looks :cc_detective:
9:00 - SAiVC Las Venturas Nat Bump Watergap: Massive watergap with a nice barrel roll, great find!
9:16 - SAiVC Las Venturas P2B: Another huge P2B, the landing looks tight on this one too.
9:26 - LC Portland Double Bump 2 Pier: So clean!
9:43 - SAiVC San Fierro Nat Bump Watergap: I love everything about this, the huge watergap, the barrel roll inbetween, the turning of the turret to steer you the right way and finally for sticking it on your wheels :jajaja:
10:04 - LC Aspatria CSM: I thought you were going to go for something else (I know we discussed that spot in MO chat) but this was a pleasant surprise.
10:14 - LC Airport Side P2B 2 Precision: Rocking them tank precisions, great job man!
10:33 - VC Little Haiti P2B: It was so fun to watch all those tanks fly on to the roof Jubito landed, and for a second I was like wait, that roof is old and the other is too tall and far away - and then I was like OH :o Sick finisher indeed!

Intro/Outro: The intro was brilliant (poor Max getting interrupted while trying to stunt), also cool nod to that VC mission. I also loved the outro, some crazy (and painful) attempts there - makes me want to appreciate the stunts even more since you didn't settle with the upside-down landings. :ajaja:

Editing: The editing was really enjoyable for me, I liked the song choices, the camera angles were picked really well, everything was showcased nicely. I also liked the usage of different skies/weathers and some of those smooth transitions where the tanks were basically in the same position, very aesthetically pleasing :jajaja:
