Title: Unblocking a video in all countries. (YouTube)
Post by: Biel on June 10, 2013, 03:44:05 PM
In request of Mythic and MaxXx I'm gonna explain it.

I'll do the same method with HellGun's solo, because it got blocked in United States.
Go to the YT "Video Manager" window and find the video.

1. When you found the video click here:

2. When you click it, will open this copyright notice window, then click in DISPUTE:

3. So when you click it will open a page with a 7 options, choose the last one and click Continue.

4. Click it and will open another page copyright notice page, mark the box and click continue.

5. Almost done, do everything I said in the image and click continue.

The text to type in the box:
Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the
Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for
"fair use" for purposes such as criticism,
comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship,
and research. Fair use is a use permitted by
copyright statute that might otherwise be
infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal
use tips the balance in favor of fair use.

6. When you click in Continue, will open a page like this:

Just click in Submit and wait some minutes and say for someone check it.

Will count as Disputed third party content but you will win the dispute cause you are pro and youtube is a shit

Proofs that it works and don't ban your account:

Thanks, it's pretty useful since I've got some of my old videos muted. ;)

The last time I did that, I just got my video deleted. I'd rather having it blocked in some countries than having it deleted tbh.

I've got a copyright strike for doing this a year ago, so I would not recommend this method.

I did it a lot of times and never got a copyright strike/video deleted. lol

No.
It depends of the song you're using. lol
And yes, I think I contested enough videos to tell you that some of them will be deleted. Including the fact that you'll get a warning. I already had 2warnings on my account doing that. I wouldn't bother losing all my videos for a contest.

Use this guide and I guarantee you'll account will be suspended faster than leaving the copyright marks untouched.

No offense dude but did you actually think through what you're doing? You dispute the claims saying that no elements of the videos are copyrighted while the soundtrack(s) are cleary licensed to UMG/WMG (in your example). This is just wrong and is against the YouTube Terms of Use.
